Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889442). The Princess Of Sintra It is not a beginners choice, it is appropriate for experienced and advanced students and musicians. It is relatively easy to perform once thoroughly practiced. When played „Live you will experience a great rewarding from its magical power upon the public. Some interpretation symbols where used in the score, they are mere personal suggestions. Most of the score is left to the interpretation of the artists involved, particularly the use of fingering. The bowing is very often simply used as a reference to musical legato. The staccato is meant to shorten the length of the notes to half of its duration and is often used to simplify the righting and the reading of the score. The piece is not difficult but it requires focused endurance and some practice on certain passages. Once learned you will never forget it. When performed Live It will give you back a great feedback from the public, you will always want to have it in your repertoire. Feel Free to apply in this piece the Art and technic that expresses entirely your individual skills and taste. Have fun! It is a very flexible piece that can be used in all kinds of events. This piece can also be performed between the „Celtiberian Danceand the Celtiberian Fantasy, as all this 3 pieces where composed with that purpose. To the last note of „The Princess Of Sintra follows the first of the „Celtiberian Fantasy. The score was written on Finale. The sound file was produced with samplers from Garritan and conceived merely as an audio support for the presentation of this score. A gavotte is a dance of French peasant origin marked by the raising rather than sliding of the feet. 2 : a tune for the gavotte in moderately quick â´/â‚„ time. Although a gavotte is not intended to be faster than circa 66 b.p.m., it is possible that the 4/4 time could have been a 2/2 in metre - thus dancing music. The upbeats at the beginning of a section is meant to be somewhat slower (raising the feet) as an anticipation for the dance to follow (like an 'on-your-marks' effect). Enjoy!

To the last note of „The Princess Of Sintra follows the first of the „Celtiberian Fantasy. Together with the „Celtiberian Dance as an Intro all this 3 pieces can be performed one after the other without interruption. Some interpretation symbols where used in the score, they are mere personal suggestions for a performance. Most of the score is left to the interpretation of the artists involved, particularly the use of fingering. The bowing is very often simply used as a reference to musical legato. The staccato is meant to shorten the length of the notes to half of its duration and is often used to simplify the righting and the reading of the score. The piece is not difficult but it requires focused endurance and some practice on certain passages. Once learned you will never forget it. When performed Live It will give you back a great feedback from the public, you will always want to have it in your repertoire. Feel Free to apply in this piece the Art and technic that expresses entirely your individual skills and taste. Have fun! It is a very flexible piece that can be used in all kinds of events. Some interpretation symbols where used in the score, they are mere personal suggestions for a performance. Most of the score is left to the interpretation of the artists involved, particularly the use of fingering. The bowing is very often simply used as a reference to a musical legato. The staccato is meant to shorten the length of the notes to half of its duration and is often used to simplify the righting and the reading of the score. The piece is not very difficult but it demands endurance, focused concentration, listening very consciously each other and a very clean mind while keeping tempo and learning to differentiate the musical phrases. The high pitched notes of some passages on the cello can be transposed an octave lower. It can be performed slower or a little bit faster. It is a very flexible piece that can be used in all kinds of events. The score was written on Finale. The sound file was produced with samplers from Garritan and conceived merely as an audio support for the presentation of this score.
