Debussy Inconnu: Album of works for the piano by Claude Debussy completed by Robert Orledge, Vol. 1

Piano Solo - Advanced Intermediate - Digital Download Composed by Claude Debussy/Robert Orledge. 20th Century, Impressionistic, Repertoire, Recital. Score. 71 pages. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing
Contains A Night in the House of Usher Un Jour affreux avec Le Diable dans le beffroi, Les accords de septième regrettent!!!, Petite Valse,Fêtes galantes, and Prélude à ‘L’Histoire de Tristan’<br> <br> From Robert Orledge's notes:<br> <br> My interest in the wonderful music of Claude Debussy began in the 1980s when I researched and published a book with Cambridge University Press entitled Debussy and the Theatre. During the course of my studies in Paris, I was amazed to discover that Debussy planned over 50 theatrical works but only finished two of these entirely by himself (the opera Pelléas et Mélisande in 1893–1902 and the ballet Jeux for Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes in 1912–13). Of the rest, many were never started musically (like Siddartha and Orphée-roi with the Oriental scholar Victor Segalen, 1907); some had a few tantalising sketches (like the Edgar Allan Poe opera Le Diable dans le beffroi, 1902–03); some were half-finished (like his other Poe opera La Chute de la Maison Usher, 1908–17); while others were musically complete but had their orchestrations completed by other composers (like Khamma, by Charles Koechlin, 1912–13; or Le Martyre de Saint Sébastien and La Boîte à joujoux by his ‘angel of corrections’ [‘l’ange des Corrections’] André Caplet in 1911 and 1919 respectively).<br> <br> For it has to be admitted that what some scholars call Debussy’s ‘compulsive achievement’ could equally well be viewed as laziness, especially as far as the minute detail required for calligraphing his orchestral scores was concerned. It was as if creating the music itself was of greater importance than controlling its final sound, even if Debussy was an imaginative orchestrator when he found the time and energy to do it. It also seems true that Debussy also preferred inventing ideas to turning them into complete pieces. However, despite the lack of detail in many of his sketches (missing clefs, key signatures, dynamics, phrasing, etc.) the notes themselves are surprisingly accurate, whether or not they can be compared with a later draft. Thus, a large number of sketches exist for his Chinese ballet No-ja-li ou Le Palais du Silence and it is not too difficult to see which parts of Georges de Feure’s 1913 scenario (see below) inspired which ideas. But Debussy hardly made any attempt to join them together after the first few bars.<br> <br> It was usually up to his publisher, Jacques Durand, to find solutions when Debussy risked a breach of contract. Debussy was supposed to supervise the orchestrations completed by others, but this supervision was usually very light and restricted to quiet, sensitive moments in which problems were easier to spot. Far from jealously guarding every one of his created notes, as Ravel did, Debussy once even went as far as to ask Koechlin to ‘write a ballet for him that he would sign’ on 26 March 1914 when he was hard-pressed to fulfil his lucrative contract for No-ja-li with André Charlot at the Alhambra Theatre in London. In the end, Debussy (through Durand) sent Charlot the symphonic suite Printemps instead, whose orchestration had been completed by Henri Busser in the Spring of 1912.<br> <br> So, when I was offered early retirement as Professor of Music at Liverpool University in 2004, I seized the opportunity it would give me to spend time trying to reconstruct some of Debussy’s lost potential masterpieces from his existing sketches and drafts—then orchestrating them in Debussy’s style when this was appropriate. I had begun this mission in 2001 with the most promising project, the missing parts of Scene 2 of La Chute de la Maison Usher and the sheer joy it gave me at every stage persuaded me to tackle other projects, especially when Debussy experts were unable to identify exactly where I took over from Debussy (and vice versa) in Usher.

Piano - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1398436 By Bobby Darin. By Albert Lasry, Charles Trenet, and Jack Lawrence. Arranged by Tobi A Crawford. Contemporary,Jazz. Score (Chords/Lyrics). 7 pages. Tobi Crawford #981711. Published by Tobi Crawford (A0.1398436). This arrangement came to me over a number of weeks in a very organic way that began with the ostinato piano figure that prevails throughout the piece. I began playing it unattached to any tune and I just liked the way the line descended in the left hand and how I had to find voicings in the right hand that made harmonic sense – like a puzzle. As I was playing around with this puzzle, thoughts of my father were swirling around in my head – I was at the end of a 4 year period of separation from my parents owing to the fact that I’m a Canadian expat living in the US and the borders were closed for a long time because of Covid, and then I had work visa issues and my parents were getting older before my eyes. They were also losing friends to cancer and other ailments and my dad, in particular, had experienced the loss of many close family members and friends during our separation and it was taking a toll. One day I sat down and played the now familiar-to-me ostinato but randomly I started to sing “Beyond the Sea†over it and it fit perfectly. I thought it a happy coincidence. As the days went on I committed to putting my ostinato with Beyond the Sea and the lyrics started to seep into my brain. I have, of course, heard these lyrics many times before, (who hasn’t seen Finding Nemo?) but the lyrics didn’t mean what I thought they meant… They’re NOT about the ocean, they are about my dad!!! Well, kind of… I realized, through careful reflection and by slowing the words down, that the lyrics are talking about a person in heaven who is patiently waiting for their partner to join them. Somewhere beyond the seaShe’s there watching for me…It’s far beyond the starsIt’s near beyond the moon And the lyrics end with them meeting, “We’ll meet beyond the shore, we’ll kiss just like before,†and the song ends with: “and never again I’ll go sailing.†It’s like the big bang went off in my head about why all these thoughts of my dad, and his friends, and this arrangement, and what it all meant suddenly just MADE SENSE and I was able to start formulating a plan. Performance Suggestions: The improvisation solo in the middle should be free of any traditional “scat syllables†and should be more of a lament. Listen to singers like Aubrey Johnson and Sara Gazarek improvise on ballads for inspiration.

Piano Solo - Advanced - Digital Download Composed by Isadar. Contemporary Classical, Jazz, Recital, Americana, New Age. Sheet Music Single. 11 pages. Published by Mainya Music Publishing (BMI)
Contains:<br> "En Face Du Miroir (Facing The Mirror)"<br> - taken from the Isadar solo piano complete collection, "Red" (also available on SMP)<br> <br> Sounds like: Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, Vince Guaraldi, Liz Story, George Winston, early Windham Hill solo piano artists<br> <br> Transcribed by: David Shenton ( https://www.shentonmusic.com/ ) verbatim to the sound recording<br> <br> Album & Songbook Review by: Kathy Parsons<br> <br> Red is pianist/composer Isadar’s genre-defying tenth solo piano album and seventeenth independent release from the past twenty years. It is also the third installment in a trilogy of solo piano albums released in the past year - Reconstructed, a Will Ackerman-produced anthology of some of Isadar’s best piano pieces; O Christmas, Isadar’s second piano Christmas album; and now Red, a bittersweet love-themed album that took seven years to produce and that consists of the first new original solo piano material Isadar has released in more than ten years.<br> <br> I have been reviewing and thoroughly enjoying Isadar’s releases since his second piano album, 1999’s Active Imagination, which still stands as one of my favorite recordings. Even though I have been a big fan for many years, I was still blown away by Isadar’s live performance in my house concert series in July 2010. The man has magic fingers and an extraordinary piano touch that are perfectly suited to express his imaginative, distinctive, and emotionally powerful music.<br> <br> Isadar is also a singer/songwriter and an electronic musician who creates the music videos for much of his music, dramatizing the stories that inspired the songs. I will always be partial to Isadar’s piano albums because his voice and vision are unique, incorporating jazz, new age, pop, and classical stylings into a musical language all his own.<br> <br> Red opens with “Broken Valentine,” a free-flowing expression of heartbreak and the broad range of emotions that go with it, alternating between grief and confusion then shifting to perhaps anger and resignation - a great beginning. The title track conveys the freedom of an improvisation while weaving together a variety of upbeat themes. “The Man Who Broke My Heart” is energetic and in constant swirling motion - also very free and from deep within. “The Stairwell” is darker and much more mysterious, overflowing with Isadar’s intriguing accented rhythms and picturesque compositional style. My favorite track is the almost nine-minute “Letting Go,” a piece that intertwines a series of musical vignettes into a powerful, colorful musical collage. I love the way Isadar seamlessly goes from flowing and smooth to a bouncy jazz style to high drama without missing a beat. Great stuff! “En Face Du Miroir (Facing the Mirror)” is much lighter, with fingers dancing nimbly around the piano keyboard. The album closes with “Blood ... Thicker Than Water,” again a combination of changing themes that could well be a musical family portrait - different personalities working separately and as a unit, bound together by the unseen ties that keep families together through thick and thin.<br> <br> Isadar has created another piano masterpiece that should be more widely heard than his previous releases due to the success of Reconstructed. I hope so, anyway! Red is available from isadar.com, Amazon, iTunes, and CD Baby. Very highly recommended!<br> <br> Isadar’s Red: Solo Piano Sheet Music Collection is a note-for-note transcription of all seven pieces from Isadar’s 2013 CD/download release by the same name. The music was transcribed by David Shenton (shentonmusic.com) with clear, concise notation that includes dynamics, pedaling and metronome settings.<br> <br> Isadar is an amazing pianist with a style all his own, so this isn’t a book that most pianists will be able to just sit down and play. It will take some work and attention to detail to get this music right, but it will be well worth the effort. Having the recording for handy reference would be a big help.<br> <br> Rhythms are often complex and syncopated, but are usually repeated within each piece, so once you have them, the rest will follow fairly easily. There are only a few chords with a reach of more than an octave and none of the key signatures are terribly difficult. The layout and spacing of the music is excellent, and the paper stock is a bright white 9”x12” format with a stapled binding.<br> <br> If you enjoy listening to Isadar’s music, I’m sure you will enjoy playing it, too! This songbook is available from isadar.com. Recommended!<br> <br> The songs with their key signatures and the number of pages is listed below:<br> <br> Broken Valentine - C minor (3 flats) - 4 pages<br> Red - A minor (0 sharps or flats) - 5 pages<br> The Man Who Broke My Heart - A minor - 6 pages<br> The Stairwell - F# minor (3 sharps) - 7 pages<br> Letting Go - F minor (4 flats) / C minor (3 flats) - 8 pages<br> En Face Du Miroir (Facing the Mirror) - Ab (4 flats) / F minor/ Bb minor (5 flats) / Db (5 flats) - 7 pages<br> Blood ... Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1023644 Composed by Ben Ledochowski. 20th Century,Contemporary,New Age. Score. 12 pages. Ben Ledochowski #6217585. Published by Ben Ledochowski (A0.1023644). The Dreaming Sea was my first paid composition commission, a piece I wrote in April 2020. For the composition commission, my author friend Sterling Wisniewski requested me to score a short story of his, with the score I provided being expected to tell the story of the words through music and accompany original artwork. His short story is included as follows:A cardboard boat sifts the surface of the sea. A little girl, eyes closed, arms wide and crowned with a paper hat, stands at the front of the deck. Unsinkable - that's what she was. Her imagination bounced the boat on the tension of theworld, almost like it wasn't there. Her eyes were closed, yet she saw everything. On shore, a crowd of dirty sailors went about their work. Nasty mouths swore and harsh fists carried their cargo to their strong, dirty boat. A boy, no taller than a barrel, was in the midst of the buff shoulders and fit forearms. He peaked between the muscle mountains. He saw her. Eyes closed and arms wide, sailing away from the Sun and into the appearing Moon. The wind flapped her hair like the sail of a boat. The boy pried between the men and ran to the end of the dock, stuck his flat hand over his forehead to see. The boy could've sworn that she saw him. He could've sworn the boat swooped in a foot from his face. He could've sworn he heard her giggle. If anything, he thought he knew she saw him.The boy's father, the largest of all the men, wearing a real sailor's hat, gripped the boy's shoulder, spun him away from view of the cardboard boat, and without a word dragged him to the solid wooden ship in front of them. The robust crew pulled ropes and pushed out to set sail towards the setting Sun in the west. The boy soon slipped out of his father's grip and ran to the edge of the boat. Standing on his tiptoes, he hovered his eyes over the dock. There she was - eyes closed and arms wide, the wind flowing through her hair while her cardboard boat skipped the seas like a stone. he could've sworn she was thinking about him. he could've sworn he would see her again. He could've&n.

Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1207336 By Keith Terrett. By Frederick M. Lehman. Arranged by Keith Terrett. Historic,Multicultural,Patriotic,Praise & Worship,Traditional,World. Score (Chords/Lyrics). 3 pages. Keith Terrett #805498. Published by Keith Terrett (A0.1207336). The Pitcairn Islands are a remote British colony in the South Pacific, famous for being the site where the mutineers from the HMS Bounty landed. The islands’ population have always been very small (currently numbering around 50), yet, aside from the official anthem of God Save the King (which is not heard often on the islands), there have been, and continue to be, many unofficial anthems in use in the colony. In Diana Jolliffe Belcher’s 1871 book “The Mutineers of the Bounty and their Decendants in Pitcairn and Norfolk Island†it is reported that a local poem by Rev. G. H. Nobbs was set to the tune “Rousseau’s Dream†(sheet music) and was considered by Pitcairners to be their anthem at the time. It is not known for how long this was considered as their anthem, however. Also, in 1856, several Pitcairners resettled on Norfolk Island as Pitcairn had become too small. The local anthem now in use on Norfolk Island, Come Ye Blessed, is also referred to as the “Pitcairn Anthemâ€, and more than likely was brought to the island by the Pitcairn settlers, suggesting that this anthem was in use on Pitcairn at that time, and is also heard on Pitcairn currently.Currently, the song “We From Pitcairn Island†(to the tune of the hymn “The Royal Telephoneâ€) is used as an unofficial anthem at gatherings and the like. The lyrics were written by Pitcairner Melva Evans with assistance from the local Seventh Day Adventist Pastor L. A. J. Webster in 1962 to be performed by the school children on board a visiting cruise ship, but the song became identified by residents as their unofficial anthem. Other songs, such as “The Goodbye Song†(written by Pitcairner Amelia Young), and the hymn “In The Sweet By and By†are considered unofficial “Pitcairn songs†at gatherings as well. (“Goodbye songsâ€, sung to ships as they leave the country, are a tradition in many Polynesian islands, and are part of the patriotic music of those countries.).

Published by OllysPianoSheets (A0.961544). All At Sea is a classical piano ballad in the key of D minor for beginner level pianists at the grade 1 (ABRSM) standard. The phrase All at sea harks from back in the times when sailing ships didn't have navigation aids. So if they were at sea and land was not visible, then they could quite easily get lost and find themselves in dangerous waters...All at Sea expresses the uncertainty and worry that sailors might have had when they lost sight of land. Of course, these days we have satellite navigation, radar and other neat gadgets, which make navigating the seas much easier. However, sometimes life can still be uncertain, so here is a piano piece which could also express those days when we feel like we've 'lost sight of the land'.All at Sea will suit pianists of about grade 1-2 (ABRSM) standard and should be played with feeling and reflection, taking special care of the dynamics as they rise and fall with the melody.Explore more fun piano sheet music by Olly Wedgwood at OllysPianoSheets.com

The Wonderful Season Of Love is better known as the Theme from Peyton Place, written by Franx Waxman.  In 2005, the American Film Institute recognized the score in its 100 Years of Film Scores, for which it received a nomination.Peyton Place was an American prime-time soap opera that aired on ABC in half-hour episodes from September 15, 1964, to June 2, 1969.  The movie of the same name  was a 1957 American drama film starring Lana Turner, Hope Lange, Lee Philips, Lloyd Nolan, Diane Varsi, Arthur Kennedy, Russ Tamblyn, and Terry Moore..  It was based partly on Grace Metalious's bestselling 1956 novel of the same name. Lyrics:Where I was born time was told, Not by the clock nor the calendar, But by the seasons.  Summer was carefree contentment,Autumn was that bittersweet time of regret, And then Winter fell with a cold mantle of caution and chill.  Spring was promise, But there was a fifth season, Of love, and only the wise knew where to find it!They say that the seasons are four,They come and they go by my door; From April's first roseTo the day that it snows,Same moon is smiling above. They say that the seasons are four,But you and I know there are more! And best of them allIs the one that we callThe wonderful season of love! They say that the seasons are four,But you and I know there are more! And best of them allIs the one that we callThe wonderful season of love!

This is an arrangement of America The Beautiful, written for upper intermediate level piano. It contains an introduction using Battle Hymn Of The Republic.America the Beautiful is a patriotic American song. Its lyrics were written by Katharine Lee Bates and its music was composed by church organist and choirmaster Samuel A. Ward at Grace Episcopal Church in Newark, New Jersey. The two never met.In 1893, at the age of 33, Bates, an English professor at Wellesley College, had taken a train trip to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to teach at Colorado College. Several of the sights on her trip inspired her, and they found their way into her poem.Lyrics:O beautiful for spacious skiesFor amber waves of grainFor purple mountain majestiesAbove the fruited plain!America! America!God shed his grace on theeAnd crown thy good with brotherhoodFrom sea to shining sea!O beautiful for pilgrim feetWhose stern impassioned stressA thoroughfare of freedom beatAcross the wilderness!America! America!God mend thine every flawConfirm thy soul in self-controlThy liberty in law!O beautiful for heroes provedIn liberating strifeWho more than self their country lovedAnd mercy more than life!America! America!God shed his grace on theeAnd crown thy good with brotherhoodFrom sea to shining sea!O beautiful for halcyon skiesFor amber waves of grainFor purple mountain majestiesAbove the enameled plain!America! America!God shed his grace on theeTill selfish gain no longer stainThe banner of the free!O beautiful for patriot dreamThat sees beyond the yearsThine alabaster cities gleamUndimmed by human tears!America! Thoughtful, introspective, and a bit moody, Isadar’s arrangements are true to the carols (with some small melody changes in “Bring a Torch” and “Carol of the Bells” that bother me just a little) and still seem very personal. “Bring a Torch”, “The Holly and the Ivy”, and “I Saw Three Ships” are given a lighthearted, joyful treatment. “Star of Wonder (We Three Kings)”, “What Child Is This?”, “The Coventry Carol”, and “Sing We Now of Christmas” are all minor, somber, reverent pieces, and all four are given loving arrangements that keep the dark, mysterious nature of the songs and reflect Isadar’s own sensibilities. “Carol of the Bells” and Isadar's take on Liz Story’s arrangement of “Greensleeves” are energetic without losing all abandon. “Silent Night” and “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” present us with a very cold, deep solitude - both feel like late night with moonlight reflecting off the snow. Both are moody, but very beautifully so. George Winston’s “December” is one of my all-time favorite holiday albums, and I feel In Search For the Meaning of Christmas holds up exceptionally well next to it. This is an excellent collection of Christmas music, and I highly recommend it!<br> <br> In Search For the Meaning of Christmas is the companion songbook to Isadar’s 1999 solo piano release by the same name. Meticulously transcribed note-for-note by David Shenton of New York Music Publishing, the music is faithful to the recording in every way (except for the pianist - YOU!). The scores are clear, concise, and easy to read, and also include chord indications for improvisation or the use of instruments other than or in addition to the piano. Isadar’s arrangements cover a whole range of emotions, from very dark and somber to joyful and buoyant. All of the pieces from the CD are here, including Isadar’s homage to Liz Story and her beautiful version of “Greensleeves.” My personal favorites of the eleven songs in this book are the bright and cheerful “Bring A Torch,” “What Child Is This?”, “Greensleeves,” the darkly gorgeous “The Coventry Carol,” and “Sing We Now of Christmas.” Other titles that I really like are “Children Go Where I Send Thee/The Holly and the Ivy,” “Star of Wonder (We Three Kings)," “Carol of the Bells,” and the effervescent “Three Ships.” “Silent” (Silent Night) and “Midnight” (It Came Upon a Midnight Clear) are a bit too dark for my own holiday tastes, but are interesting and very personal arrangements. This book will make a great addition to your holiday sheet music collection and is available from isadar.com and amazon.com.<br> <br> Isadar is an artist on both Enlightened Piano Radio & Whisperings Solo Piano Radio, the latter featuring some of today's biggest names in solo piano music, including Ludovico Einaudi, David Nevue, Brian Crain, Kevin Kern, Robin Spielberg, Michele McLaughlin, Philip Wesley and over 300 more...<br> <br> Also available as sheet music in physical songbooks, digital downloads, as well as software for Yamaha Disklavier player-pianos.<br> <br> For more information, visit his website at: http://www.isadar.com

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1200229 By Skeeter Davis. By Arthur Kent and Sylvia Dee. Arranged by Timothy Stapay. Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show,Pop,Rock,Standards. Score. 6 pages. Timothy Stapay #799031. Published by Timothy Stapay (A0.1200229). An arrangement of The End Of The World, a song covered by many famous artists. includingThe Carpenters; thanks to the phenomenal singing of Karen Carpenter. The End of the World was written by composer Arthur Kent and lyricist Sylvia Dee, who often worked as a team. The Carpenters (officially known as Carpenters were an American vocal and instrumental duo consisting of siblings Karen (1950–1983) and Richard Carpenter (born 1946). They produced a distinctive soft musical style, combining Karen's contralto vocals with Richard's harmonizing, arranging, and composition skills. During their 14-year career, the Carpenters recorded 10 albums along with many singles and several television specials. Karen possessed a powerful singing voice, and close miking brought out many nuances in her performances. Richard arranged their music to take advantage of this, though Karen had a three-octave vocal range. Richard's work with Karen was influenced by the music of Les Paul, whose overdubbing of the voice of wife and musical partner Mary Ford allowed her to be used as both the lead and harmony vocals.[6] By multi-tracking, Richard was able to use Karen and himself for the harmonies to back Karen's lead. The overdubbed background harmonies were distinctive to the Carpenters, but it was the soulful, engaging sound of Karen's lead voice that made them so recognizable. Record executive Mike Curb said it was Karen's voice that took the Carpenters above straight pop music into pop rock.  She was known as a one take wonder and could deliver a strong performance on the first attempt.Richard Carpenter was the creative force behind the Carpenters' sound. An accomplished keyboard player, composer and arranger, music critic Daniel Levitin called him one of the most gifted arrangers to emerge in popular music. The duo's smooth harmonies were not in step with contemporary music, which was dominated by heavy rock. Instead, the Carpenters strove for a rich and melodic sound, along the same vein as the Beach Boys and the Mamas & the Papas, but with greater fullness and orchestration including frequent use of small string and horn sections and introspective lyrics centred around relationships. Richard also admired the musicianship and arranging skills of Frank Zappa, and the two briefly met backstage at the Billboard Forum in 1975.End Of The World: Lyrics:Why does the sun go on shining? Why does the sea rush to shore?Don't they know it's the end of the world?'Cause you don't love me any moreWhy do the birds go on singing? Why do the stars glow above?Don't they know it's the end of the world? It ended when I lost your love[Bridge]I wake up in the morning and I wonderWhy everything's the same as it wasI can't understand, no, I can't understandHow life goes on the way it doesWhy does my heart go on beating? Why do these eyes of mine cry?Don't they know it's the end of the world? It ended when you said goodbyeWhy does my heart go on beating? Why do these eyes of mine cry?Don't they know it's the end of the world? It ended when you

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1271034 By Jeff Bjorck. By traditional Swedish melody. Arranged by Jeff Bjorck. 19th Century,Children,Christian,Religious,Traditional. Score. 5 pages. Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck #863426. Published by Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck (A0.1271034). Jeff Bjorck's original solo piano arrangement of this Swedish Folk Tune appears on his album/CD, Keepsakes in the Attic. Bjorck's bridge is virtually as long as the original melody, and he weaves them together seamlessly. The lovely tune and accompanying words in English harken back to a simpler time. Whereas it has been used as a lullaby, the lyrics touch on deep themes, including the hopeful truth that “Neither life nor death shall ever from the Lord his children sever.â€.

Receiving the highest honors given by the Guild National Piano Auditions, Christine's childhood classical training is evident in her melodic and thematic compositions, while rich harmonies reflect her background in accompanying various choral groups. From Chopin to Joplin, her influences were varied and many, and she also enjoyed creating her own arrangements of popular songs. While earning a business degree at the University of Colorado Boulder, Christine was inspired by George Winston's new age genre of solo piano, yet the piano remained only a hobby for many years. In 1990, my mother requested a cassette tape of my piano music for her birthday, so I went to a local recording studio. It was then that I rediscovered my passion for playing the piano, and I realized my gift to her was really her gift to me. Sadly, her mother passed away just months later. Christine immersed herself into the piano to comfort her grief and voice her emotions, releasing heartfelt compositions that captured listeners. Christine's fans have written, There is a richness to your sound, a refined elegance and passionate intelligence that could only come from working hard at your craft, and ...her music is vibrant, colorful and full of life. Skilled at the art of blending chords and note progressions into beautiful aural tapestries, her music is at once a welcome retreat from the mundane and ordinary. Her emotions come through her music...and through her music, she is able to reach out and touch the hearts of millions of appreciative piano music fans.COMPOSER.
