Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1228042 By Billie Eilish. By Billie Eilish O'Connell, Finneas O'Connell, and Khalid Robinson. Arranged by André Nusa. Pop,Singer/Songwriter. Score. 3 pages. Andre_Nusa #824012. Published by Andre_Nusa (A0.1228042). This piano arrangement of the song Lovely by Billie Eilish is a simple yet beautiful way to play this hauntingly beautiful ballad. The song features a slow, melancholic melody that is perfect for a piano arrangement, allowing the player to fully immerse themselves in the emotion of the piece. Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1257744 By Jeff Bjorck. By Will L. Thompson. Arranged by Jeff Bjorck. 19th Century,Christian,New Age,Religious,Spiritual. Score. 3 pages. Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck #850974. Published by Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck (A0.1257744). Jeff Bjorck's original solo piano arrangement of this traditional hymn melody by Will L. Thompson is from Bjorck's album/CD This I Know: Ageless Hymns of Faith. This hymn wonderfully portrays the caring heart of God, who so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16). Its lyrics are reminiscent of the prodigal son's father, who seemed to be waiting and watching for his erring child to come home.  Many hymns  beautifully  express  the  awesome majesty of God, but this one seems to personify His still, small, voice (I Kings 19:12). It is this still, small, yet powerfully loving voice that Bjorck conveys with this arrangement.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1374095 By Stacey Plays Hymns. By Stacey Plays Hymns. Arranged by Anastace. Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Score. 3 pages. Anastace #958669. Published by Anastace (A0.1374095). Here is the full piano accompaniment version in an easier key of my arrangement of Round Me Falls the Night, as heard on YouTube. This beautiful evening hymn is a perfect pairing of a solemn, contemplative melody with uplifting, scriptural lyrics that remind us of the hope we have in Christ, in this life and the next. I found this song in a very old hymnbook, so old that you could feel the raised print on the page, and loved the lyrics so much! However, I felt that a minor melody would suit it in a really special way, so I rewrote it with new choral harmonization using a mixture of minor modes to match the evening mood of the song. This piece works well as a choir anthem for evensong, funerals, or for any more contemplative, low-key service, and is written in a comfortable, singable range for everyday singers. It works well either with a soft organ or keyboard/pad accompaniment or a capella, to showcase the rich vocal harmony reminiscent of Elaine Hagenburg or John Rutter. Also available, by clicking the artist name below or searching Stacey Plays Hymns on this site, are the following versions:Full piano accompaniment in F Minor [original key]Lead sheet in F MinorLead sheet in E Minor Easy Lead sheet in E Minor [for guitar or more beginner pianists]For other formats including large print or organ versions, please write me at staceyplayshymns@gmail.com and I'll be glad to make them especially for you. Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1200229 By Skeeter Davis. By Arthur Kent and Sylvia Dee. Arranged by Timothy Stapay. Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show,Pop,Rock,Standards. Score. 6 pages. Timothy Stapay #799031. Published by Timothy Stapay (A0.1200229). An arrangement of The End Of The World, a song covered by many famous artists. includingThe Carpenters; thanks to the phenomenal singing of Karen Carpenter. The End of the World was written by composer Arthur Kent and lyricist Sylvia Dee, who often worked as a team. The Carpenters (officially known as Carpenters were an American vocal and instrumental duo consisting of siblings Karen (1950–1983) and Richard Carpenter (born 1946). They produced a distinctive soft musical style, combining Karen's contralto vocals with Richard's harmonizing, arranging, and composition skills. During their 14-year career, the Carpenters recorded 10 albums along with many singles and several television specials. Karen possessed a powerful singing voice, and close miking brought out many nuances in her performances. Richard arranged their music to take advantage of this, though Karen had a three-octave vocal range. Richard's work with Karen was influenced by the music of Les Paul, whose overdubbing of the voice of wife and musical partner Mary Ford allowed her to be used as both the lead and harmony vocals.[6] By multi-tracking, Richard was able to use Karen and himself for the harmonies to back Karen's lead. The overdubbed background harmonies were distinctive to the Carpenters, but it was the soulful, engaging sound of Karen's lead voice that made them so recognizable. Record executive Mike Curb said it was Karen's voice that took the Carpenters above straight pop music into pop rock.  She was known as a one take wonder and could deliver a strong performance on the first attempt.Richard Carpenter was the creative force behind the Carpenters' sound. An accomplished keyboard player, composer and arranger, music critic Daniel Levitin called him one of the most gifted arrangers to emerge in popular music. The duo's smooth harmonies were not in step with contemporary music, which was dominated by heavy rock. Instead, the Carpenters strove for a rich and melodic sound, along the same vein as the Beach Boys and the Mamas & the Papas, but with greater fullness and orchestration including frequent use of small string and horn sections and introspective lyrics centred around relationships. Richard also admired the musicianship and arranging skills of Frank Zappa, and the two briefly met backstage at the Billboard Forum in 1975.End Of The World: Lyrics:Why does the sun go on shining? Why does the sea rush to shore?Don't they know it's the end of the world?'Cause you don't love me any moreWhy do the birds go on singing? Why do the stars glow above?Don't they know it's the end of the world? It ended when I lost your love[Bridge]I wake up in the morning and I wonderWhy everything's the same as it wasI can't understand, no, I can't understandHow life goes on the way it doesWhy does my heart go on beating? Why do these eyes of mine cry?Don't they know it's the end of the world? It ended when you said goodbyeWhy does my heart go on beating? Why do these eyes of mine cry?Don't they know it's the end of the world? It ended when you

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1028034 Composed by Maxwell Olson. Contemporary,Jazz,Latin,World. Score. 7 pages. Jake Madeira #3223163. Published by Jake Madeira (A0.1028034). This étude is one of energetic character with simple, yet powerful melodies and rhythms that create a sense of curiosity. I composed this piece in a simpler form when I was around 17, in my high school music theory class. All of the ideas were there, melody and structure, but what it lacked was experience. It felt flat. So, 5 years later, after I rediscovered the piece, I decided to put some time into adding flavor, excitement, and intrigue. In doing so, I hope that I've created not only a technical challenge that will strengthen your skills, but a fun piece of music that you'll love to play!Split into three parts in an ABA format, this piece features a main theme divided by a softer second theme, both of which provide technical challenges in their own rights. The first focus of this étude is to build stamina in maintaining rapid octave progressions in each hand. This is coupled with quick jumps in the right hand that require precise and deliberate movements to perfect. The second focus is to strengthen control over legato passages in rolling arpeggios, while maintaining a delicate touch for the melody, and exercising the dynamic range of the fingers. In practicing this piece, it is very important to start slowly and with definitive control in all sections! It cannot be stressed enough how much of an impact bad habits can make on the execution of this étude. If you work diligently on finger control and technique, it will stick with you in all of your future endeavors! Be warned though: this is a difficult piano solo. It will take time and effort to learn, however, those efforts will all pay off in the end. Don't let it discourage you. I wish you all luck in learning this étude, and if you have any questions at all, please feel free to email me at walkingreject@gmail.com.

Von fremden Ländern und Menschen (Of Foreign Lands and Peoples) is a romantic piano piece composed by Robert Schumann in 1838. This piece is a part of Schumann's Kinderszenen (Scenes from Childhood) suite. It explores themes of the unfamiliar and a child's curiosity of the world.  Von fremden Ländern und Menschen utilizes a lyrical ABA form set in an ABA ternary meter. The opening melody is soft, nostalgic, and reflective representing the innocence of childhood. The second section begins with a marching-like motif that gradually builds intensity as it progresses, creating feelings of awe and wonder as the music approaches the climax. The piece ends reflecting on the initial melody.  Kinderszenen, Op. 15: 1. Von fremden Ländern und Menschen is an emotionally evocative piece that allows the listener to enter the whimsical world of childhood. The piece’s subtle development makes it a great piece for piano students looking to explore the Romantic era.

This is a recording of the printed piano accompaniment book. (Other Books also available are for flute, clarinet/trumpet, alto sax, French horn, and trombone.) These recordings may also be used for group singing. There is a short introduction, and enough repeats of the verses in case you would like to play or sing them all! While these recordings contain multiple verses, the print version contains only one verse with no introduction. Many hymns are in their original hymnal keys, but if not, they have been adjusted slightly for a better playing range. This is one large file, containing all 50 accompaniments, plus one bonus recording-a harpsichord version of the first piece. For this reason, the cue point is given which is the time in the recording when each hymn occurs so they can be located more easily within this one-hour and 59-minute MP3. For instance, And Can It Be would be found at the 6-minute and 12-second time point. Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1217783 By The Ritchie Family. By Ary Barroso and S.K. Russell. Arranged by Timothy Stapay/Liberace. Film/TV,Jazz,Latin,Singer/Songwriter,Standards. Score. 6 pages. Timothy Stapay #814316. Published by Timothy Stapay (A0.1217783). This arrangement of Brazil is written as performed by famous piano artist, Liberace. This is the same version that he performed on his emmy-award winning TV. show and in concerts around the world.Aquarela do Brasil (Portuguese: [akwaˈɾɛlÉ du bɾaˈziw], 'Watercolor of Brazil'), written by Ary Barroso in 1939 and known in the English-speaking world simply as Brazil, is one of the most famous Brazilian songs. Ary Barroso wrote Aquarela do Brasil in early 1939, when he was prevented from leaving his home one rainy night due to a heavy storm. Its title, a reference to watercolor painting, is a clear reference to the rain. He also wrote Três lágrimas (Three Teardrops) on that same night, before the rain ended.Describing the song in an interview to Marisa Lira, of the newspaper Diário de NotÃcias, Barroso said that he wanted to free the samba away from the tragedies of life, of the sensual scenario already so explored. According to the composer, he felt all the greatness, the value and the wealth of our land, reliving the tradition of the national panels.WÅ‚adziu Valentino Liberace (May 16, 1919 – February 4, 1987) was an American pianist, singer, and actor. A child prodigy born in Wisconsin to parents of Italian and Polish origin, he enjoyed a career spanning four decades of concerts, recordings, television, motion pictures, and endorsements. At the height of his fame from the 1950s to 1970s, he was the highest-paid entertainer in the world!Lyrics:Brazil, where hearts were entertaining JuneWe stood beneath an amber moonAnd softly murmured Someday soonWe kissed and clung togetherThen, tomorrow was another dayThe morning found me miles awayWith still a million things to sayNow, when twilight dims the skies aboveRecalling thrills of our loveThere's one thing I'm certain ofReturn, I will, to old BrazilThen, tomorrow was another dayThe morning found me miles awayWith still a million things to sayNow, when twilight dims the sky aboveRecalling thrills of our loveThere's one thing that I'm certain ofReturn, I will, to old BrazilThat old BrazilMan, it's old in BrazilBrazil, Brazil

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1256146 By Jeff Bjorck. By Geistliche Kirchengesang, Cologne, 1623. Arranged by Jeff Bjorck. Christian,Religious,Sacred,Spiritual,Traditional. Score. 7 pages. Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck #849613. Published by Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck (A0.1256146). Jeff Bjorck's original solo piano arrangement of this ancient hymn melody is from Bjorck's album/CD This I Know: Ageless Hymns of Faith. This tune was used to accompany words translated from a poem by St. Francis of Assisi, whose love of animals and all creation are well-known. Whereas this hymn is typically sung as a majestic song of praise, Bjorck's arrangement conveys the gentility with which St. Francis exhorted his fellow creatures to Lift up your heads and with us sing. No doubt, he would have sung softly so as not to frighten the smaller woodland inhabitants!

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1485941 By Andrew Peterson. By Andrew Peterson and Ben Shive. Arranged by Brian Buda. Christian,Contemporary,Easter,Praise & Worship,Religious. Score. 19 pages. Budaful music #1062992. Published by budaful music (A0.1485941). This is a lovely piano arrangement of Andrew Peterson's 'Is He Worthy?'. This powerful, rousing worship song is addion to any hymn players music binder. Beginning simply and softly, it gets progressively more advanced throughout. It has been arranged with two timings and 3 transpositions: C, B (original key), and Bb. See the performance options on the first page of music for more details. There are 2 optional endings to this arrangement, the first is moderately advanced and the second is more advanced. It was arranged in C, so some chords and fingerings might need to be adjusted in the other keys. For some, it may actually be easier in B since the black keys help determine fingerings. Is He Worthy? He Is.

Here's how to play "Best Part of Me" by Ed Sheeran (feat. YEBBA) on piano!<br> <br> With this piano sheet music, you can learn how to play "Best Part of Me" on piano.<br> It's an accurate piano arragement of the whole piece which is quite easy to play, and sounds amazing!<br> <br> The whole melody is included in the piano part, so it makes for a great instrumental (piano solo) version.<br> <br> "Best Part of Me" is a beautiful, romantic pop ballad. It starts very softly and builds up to an emotional chorus. The whole song sounds just wonderful on piano!<br> <br> The song was released in July 2019 as the fourth single from Ed Sheeran's 4th studio album "No.6 Collaborations Project".<br> <br> Here are the full lyrics to "Best Part of Me" by Ed Sheeran:<br> <br> My lungs are black, my heart is pure<br> My hands are scarred from nights before<br> And my hair is thinnin', falling out<br> Of all the wrong places<br> I am a little insecure<br> My eyes are crossed, but they're still blue<br> I bite my nails and tell the truth<br> I go from thin to overweight<br> Day to day it fluctuates<br> My skin is inked, but faded too<br> But she loves me, she loves me<br> Why the hell she love me<br> When she could have anyone else?<br> Oh you love me, you love me<br> Why the hell do you love me?<br> 'Cause I don't even love myself<br> Baby, the best part of me is you<br> And lately everything's making sense too<br> Oh baby, I'm so in love with you<br> I overthink and still forget<br> I lose my phone and place my bets<br> And I never catch the train on time<br> Always thirty minutes behind<br> Your worries ain't seen nothin' yet<br> But you love me, you love me<br> Why the hell you love me so<br> When you could have anyone else?<br> Yeah yeah, he loves me, he loves me<br> And I bet he never lets me go<br> And shows me how to love myself<br> 'Cause, baby, the best part of me is you, woah<br> Lately everything's making sense too<br> Baby, I'm so in love with you<br> (With you)<br> Baby, the best part of me is you, woah<br> Lately everything's making sense too<br> Oh baby, I'm so in love with you (Ooh)<br> Baby, I'm so in love with you, yeah, yeah<br> Oh baby, I'm so in love with you

It constantly amazes me how many outstanding composer/pianists there are out there - especially in relation to the few who are highly (commercially) successful within this broad genre. I would say that Active Imagination definitely belongs near the top of the heap. Isadar’s style is original, and his pianism is excellent. He lists his inspirations as Liz Story, Keith Jarrett, and Bill Evans, and I can hear traces of all three in his playing, but find his composing and playing styles to be uniquely his own.<br> <br> The first three tracks are lively and upbeat (“Active Imagination”, “Throwing the Dice”, and “Where the Wild Things Are”) with an easy, jazzy, improvised feel. The meter changes are fascinating, and the bluesy beat on “Wild Things” is infectious.<br> <br> From there, the mood seems to gradually darken and become more introspective. “Waiting” is a beautiful, flowing mood piece full of questions and a lovely melody line. Isadar’s cover of Liz Story’s “Wedding Rain” is wonderful - this is a piece I often work on with my advanced students, and everything about Isadar’s interpretation of the piece seems right without being a carbon-copy of Liz’s recording.<br> <br> “Feu Follet (the ‘spook’ light’)” has a nice, easy flow with a strong sense of mystery; it also has an unusual rhythm that lightens the mood and adds a bounce. “Uncertainty” is cooler and more aloof, but gorgeous in its flowing introspection - that it ends with a major chord, feels like the soul-searching has had positive results. “Love Chaconne” is the closing track, and is the longest and most abstract piece on the CD. The left hand plays a repeated pattern while the right hand goes off in several different directions (one of the primary characteristics of a “chaconne”). Beautiful in its simplicity, this is the only track that seems to contain an element of pain and sorrow, but never dissolves into melodrama.<br> <br> Active Imagination is excellent from start to finish and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes solo piano with substance and complexity, but is still accessible, melodic, and rhythmic. Bravo amundo!<br> <br> Active Imagination Sheet Music Collection is the companion songbook to Isadar’s 1999 CD release, Active Imagination. The CD was one of my favorites for the year when I reviewed it for the print version of “Wind and Wire” magazine, so I was really looking forward to the sheet music! Transcribed note-for-note by David Shenton of ShentonMusic.com (I proofed about half of the book, so I can attest to how accurate it is!), it is up to you to make the music sound as close to the CD as you want or to interpret the music and make your own statements with it.<br> <br> One thing that really stands out about this collection is how much FUN it is to play. The rhythms are interesting and catchy, and the mood in several of the songs is playful and upbeat. This is especially true with the title song, “Throwing the Dice,” “Where the Wild Things Are,” and “Feu Follet (the ‘spook’ light).” “Waiting,” “Love Chaconne,” and “Uncertainty” are slower, more introspective, and a bit moody, making this a sheet music collection that contains a variety of moods and styles. The only piece missing from the book is Liz Story’s “Wedding Rain,” but the sheet music for that song is available in some of Ms. Story’s own collections.<br> <br> Early-advanced players should have no trouble with this music. The timing on some of the songs is a little bit tricky, but if you count it as you are learning it, it will fall into place.<br> <br> If you haven’t heard the CD, check it out, too! This book is available here from SMP, isadar.com and amazon.com. Highly recommended!<br> <br> Isadar is an artist on both Enlightened Piano Radio & Whisperings Solo Piano Radio, the latter featuring some of today's biggest names in solo piano music, including Ludovico Einaudi, David Nevue, Brian Crain, Kevin Kern, Robin Spielberg, Michele McLaughlin, Philip Wesley and over 300 more...<br> <br> Also available as sheet music in physical songbooks, digital downloads, as well as software for Yamaha Disklavier player-pianos.<br> <br> For more information, visit his website at: http://www.isadar.com

Piano Solo - Advanced - Digital Download Composed by Isadar. Contemporary Classical, Jazz, Recital, Americana, New Age. Sheet Music Single. 11 pages. Published by Mainya Music Publishing (BMI)
Contains:<br> "En Face Du Miroir (Facing The Mirror)"<br> - taken from the Isadar solo piano complete collection, "Red" (also available on SMP)<br> <br> Sounds like: Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, Vince Guaraldi, Liz Story, George Winston, early Windham Hill solo piano artists<br> <br> Transcribed by: David Shenton ( https://www.shentonmusic.com/ ) verbatim to the sound recording<br> <br> Album & Songbook Review by: Kathy Parsons<br> <br> Red is pianist/composer Isadar’s genre-defying tenth solo piano album and seventeenth independent release from the past twenty years. It is also the third installment in a trilogy of solo piano albums released in the past year - Reconstructed, a Will Ackerman-produced anthology of some of Isadar’s best piano pieces; O Christmas, Isadar’s second piano Christmas album; and now Red, a bittersweet love-themed album that took seven years to produce and that consists of the first new original solo piano material Isadar has released in more than ten years.<br> <br> I have been reviewing and thoroughly enjoying Isadar’s releases since his second piano album, 1999’s Active Imagination, which still stands as one of my favorite recordings. Even though I have been a big fan for many years, I was still blown away by Isadar’s live performance in my house concert series in July 2010. The man has magic fingers and an extraordinary piano touch that are perfectly suited to express his imaginative, distinctive, and emotionally powerful music.<br> <br> Isadar is also a singer/songwriter and an electronic musician who creates the music videos for much of his music, dramatizing the stories that inspired the songs. I will always be partial to Isadar’s piano albums because his voice and vision are unique, incorporating jazz, new age, pop, and classical stylings into a musical language all his own.<br> <br> Red opens with “Broken Valentine,” a free-flowing expression of heartbreak and the broad range of emotions that go with it, alternating between grief and confusion then shifting to perhaps anger and resignation - a great beginning. The title track conveys the freedom of an improvisation while weaving together a variety of upbeat themes. “The Man Who Broke My Heart” is energetic and in constant swirling motion - also very free and from deep within. “The Stairwell” is darker and much more mysterious, overflowing with Isadar’s intriguing accented rhythms and picturesque compositional style. My favorite track is the almost nine-minute “Letting Go,” a piece that intertwines a series of musical vignettes into a powerful, colorful musical collage. I love the way Isadar seamlessly goes from flowing and smooth to a bouncy jazz style to high drama without missing a beat. Great stuff! “En Face Du Miroir (Facing the Mirror)” is much lighter, with fingers dancing nimbly around the piano keyboard. The album closes with “Blood ... Thicker Than Water,” again a combination of changing themes that could well be a musical family portrait - different personalities working separately and as a unit, bound together by the unseen ties that keep families together through thick and thin.<br> <br> Isadar has created another piano masterpiece that should be more widely heard than his previous releases due to the success of Reconstructed. I hope so, anyway! Red is available from isadar.com, Amazon, iTunes, and CD Baby. Very highly recommended!<br> <br> Isadar’s Red: Solo Piano Sheet Music Collection is a note-for-note transcription of all seven pieces from Isadar’s 2013 CD/download release by the same name. The music was transcribed by David Shenton (shentonmusic.com) with clear, concise notation that includes dynamics, pedaling and metronome settings.<br> <br> Isadar is an amazing pianist with a style all his own, so this isn’t a book that most pianists will be able to just sit down and play. It will take some work and attention to detail to get this music right, but it will be well worth the effort. Having the recording for handy reference would be a big help.<br> <br> Rhythms are often complex and syncopated, but are usually repeated within each piece, so once you have them, the rest will follow fairly easily. There are only a few chords with a reach of more than an octave and none of the key signatures are terribly difficult. The layout and spacing of the music is excellent, and the paper stock is a bright white 9”x12” format with a stapled binding.<br> <br> If you enjoy listening to Isadar’s music, I’m sure you will enjoy playing it, too! This songbook is available from isadar.com. Recommended!<br> <br> The songs with their key signatures and the number of pages is listed below:<br> <br> Broken Valentine - C minor (3 flats) - 4 pages<br> Red - A minor (0 sharps or flats) - 5 pages<br> The Man Who Broke My Heart - A minor - 6 pages<br> The Stairwell - F# minor (3 sharps) - 7 pages<br> Letting Go - F minor (4 flats) / C minor (3 flats) - 8 pages<br> En Face Du Miroir (Facing the Mirror) - Ab (4 flats) / F minor/ Bb minor (5 flats) / Db (5 flats) - 7 pages<br> Blood ...
