These compositions and arrangements were written to provide pieces for just that purpose. All are very lyrical in nature and allow for a maximum of expression. The guitarist should feel comfortable in freely interpreting these pieces, taking full advantage of tone, dynamics and various tempos. None of the solos should be performed in a hurried manner although most of the works contain sections where tempo acceleration and ritard are appropriate.
