Concert Band - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.750785 Composed by E. T. Paull (1908). Arranged by Brendan Elliget MAGA 537. Contemporary. Score and parts. 115 pages. BJE Music #3567783. Published by BJE Music (A0.750785). The Home Coming March (1908) - Concert Band Score and Parts PDF Music by: ET Paull Of course, eventually, all the soldiers and sailors had to eventually come home from all the battles and Paull had that eventuality well covered also. The artwork on the front cover (of unknown origin) is one that is full of imagery that covers all aspects of the services, Army and Navy and is full of patriotic and familial ideals. The border lists all of the US States and the corner pictures depict aspects of homecoming. The main image is a parade of victory. Let's let Paull explain it all to us as he did on the inside cover. Why This Piece Of Music Was Named The Home Coming March Explanatory When the author had about completed the music of the present march, it occurred to him that it might be well to have suggestions made from a number of people, recommending a good name for same, for after all there is considerable in a name. He, therefore, had a special advertisement placed in several of the leading music Journals throughout the country, offering a prize of $10.00 in gold to anyone suggesting a name that would be accepted. Over three thousand names were sent in from all parts of the country, even from far away New Zealand and Australia, in which countries the author's marches are universal favorites. Included in the letters received was one from Mr. W. C. Bates, Secretary of the Sheffield Advertising Agency of New York and Chicago, in which he suggested the name The Home Coming March. After due consideration, this name was accepted, and the prize was awarded and paid to Mr. Bates, who stated that he was prompted to recommend this name on account of having been present during the impressive celebration of Old Home Week in Boston, Mass., last year. Probably no one idea is so universally dominant in the mind of the Human Race as that of home, or matters pertaining to home. The author believes that the name selected is one that will appeal to everyone; as the many pleasant associations with the words Home Coming are almost without limit. The title page of this march is without any exception the handsomest seen on a piece of music. The main body of the title pace represents a street scene, with buildings decorated and shows a handsome royal Arch of Welcome in the foreground, gaily decorated with flags, emblems, and bunting. A band is shown passing under the arch, leading a procession of the Home Guard, and thousands of people waving handkerchiefs, banners, flags, etc. Four smaller scenes also appear on the page, one representing the Home Coming of the soldier from war; another scene shows the Home Coming of the sailor boys embarking from their battleships; another scene represents the Home Coming reunion of the family and loved ones; the fourth scene represents the Home Coming of the father from work, where a little tot has been watching and waiting, and runs to meet him. The whole design of the title page is then surrounded by a border of differently designed medallions, on which appears the names of all the States of the Union, making without a doubt, the most unique and attractive title page ever conceived for a piece of music. One thing Paull mastered early in his career was the art of overstatement! Musically, this march is beginning to show the repetitiveness of many of Paull's works, especially evident as time passed. Once Paull found the formula (a fabulous cover and a playable, rousing march) that sold music, he stuck with it and was quite successful as a result. This arrangement is for Full Concert Band with the original optional piano part ( Not on the score). There are parts for Trombones 1 and 2 in TC and BC as well as parts of Euphonium in TC and BC. The MP3 was recorded with NotePerformer 3.Grade = 3.5 Duration =.

Concert Band - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1153691 By Scott Custer Jr. By Scott Custer Jr. Contemporary. Score and parts. 101 pages. Scott Custer Jr #753948. Published by Scott Custer Jr (A0.1153691). My first complete concert band piece. It's been in the works for about 3 months. The early drafts of this piece were written in April/May and were then left to collect dust for months. I wrote it to experiment with melodic/harmonic minor scales and did not intend to finish the piece. Around the same time I wrote the early drafts of the piece, my high school band director asked if I wanted to write a piece for the concert band. I agreed and spent months working on different pieces of music, completing none of them. Around late October I stumbled across this looking through old pieces of music for some new ideas. I listened through it 3 or 4 times and decided to continue the piece. After spending roughly two months finishing the draft, and another month revising and adding parts, I had finally finished Trapped. When I started working on this piece with the intention of finishing it, I was at a difficult point in my life. I had recently come home from my rookie season of drum corps and was still transitioning back to the real world. The freedom of tour had been taken away from me, I had mentally matured a lot during the summer. While only 17 I felt like I was stuck with a bunch of kids. I had spent all summer with friends much older than me, learning a lot from them and taking inspiration from them in many ways. When I started this piece, I was conflicted with many thoughts and emotions. I was still under the impression that my peers in the music program hated me because of some of my actions last year. The girl from home I had been talking with all summer while I was gone, and hoped to start a relationship with, lied to me while I was gone about many things, causing me to remove them from my life. The last year and a half have involved many events like losing my best friend of 5 years because of, what I consider, an overreaction on my part; being used for my kindness; lied to; having secrets about me revealed behind my back by those I trusted; being a therapy friend; constant overthinking; as well as toxic friendships I didn’t want to leave because I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I felt trapped. I had spent so long trying to improve myself to become who I am today, and I still felt like crap. Even though I knew and promised myself I wouldn’t follow through, I was battling suicidal thoughts and I was in a severely depressive episode of my life. I wrote this piece to express the feeling of overthinking, being trapped in your mind, and the road to recovery. The constant back-and-forth battles with yourself, unsure of where to go and what to do next; feeling trapped. I hope that this piece connects and resonates with those of you in a similar position to what I was in, and I promise there is a way out and that life does get better. And with that, I present to you, Trapped.

Concert Band - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.998359 Composed by Aaron Fonzi. Christmas,Contemporary,Folk,Standards. Score and parts. 25 pages. Aaron Fonzi #4834971. Published by Aaron Fonzi (A0.998359). This lyrical piece is a delightful way to introduce your young band to ballad style. Exploring slurs, accents, dynamics, caesuras, ritardandos and more, you'll be shocked by how sophisticated this beautiful piece sounds while using only a limited number of notes. Written to convey the playful innocence of a child dreaming, In Your Slumber balances the calm of a starry sky with the imagination and adventure of a child's mind at rest. Simple and elegant, the lullaby played by the flutes in the beginning gives way to an imaginative variation on the theme by the trumpets and clarinets at B. Gentle, pulsating tenutos in the harmonizing chords underneath are symbolic of relaxed, rhythmic breathing underlying the musical thoughts flowing by above them. Just as in dreams we seldom have control of which direction the story may go, D takes us somewhere else musically and implies a build to a false climax. At E, we are greeted with the quiet sounds of the night once more, but this time our imagination runs wild as the music builds to the climax of the piece at F. This powerful proclamation of the melody is concluded with a gentle final statement in the flute and clarinet, and the piece concludes with the final twinkle of the stars as the sun rises for a new day.Full of imagination, beauty and teachable moments throughout, I hope that you and your students can enjoy and appreciate this piece for it's simple beauty as I do. Onward!~Aaron FonziREHEARSAL NOTES:1. The clarinet part should be a very light drone creating atmosphere at the beginning- the same goes for the clarinet and saxophone at rehearsal E.2. It's easy to get too loud too soon in this piece, so remind your students to have patience. F is the climax of the piece, but many young students will want to play C as if it is. Similarly, be sure to balance the trumpet/ clarinet and the flute/ oboe/ bells at C so both lines come out evenly.3. Take your time in measure 48- we want to naturally fade away and pause before going on at rehearsal E. This increase and decrease in energy is a characterization of the ebb and flow of the piece.4. At F, there are 3 important parts that must be balanced: flute/oboe/bells; trumpet/clarinet; alto saxophone/horn. For best results, balance these 3 parts, and encourage the alto/horn line to play out a bit more than they think they need to. They are the new part which must be heard here.5. Have fun and use your imagination in terms of expressing the music- ask your students what it makes them think of and create a story to go along with it. Let this ultimately guide your interpretation. I am consistently impressed with the creative ideas my students come up with, so let them decide how the music should sound with their own stories. In your slumber, anything is possible!

Concert Band - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1022829 Composed by Devon Williams. Contemporary,Instructional,Standards. Score and Parts. 89 pages. Devon Williams #6560657. Published by Devon Williams (A0.1022829). To the director and band, please play this with passion and feeling. This piece was written as a way to express my feelings towards the death of George Floyd. His death was unnecessary and it sparked a movement for African-Americans. As a fellow African-American, my feelings ranged from fear, pain, and even anger. After his death, I had the inspiration to write something that will get the audience's attention. It is repetitive because the treatment and even death of my fellow African-Americans continue to happen. I ask that when you play this, try to put yourself in the shoes of African-Americans and play your part with the feeling that goes with each movement. Thank you so much for making this piece come to life! .

Concert band - Grade 4 - Digital Download SKU: IZ.CBS172-S Composed by Jordan Eismeier. Score. 15 pages. Imagine Music - Digital #CBS172-S. Published by Imagine Music - Digital (IZ.CBS172-S). 9 x 12 in inches. This piece was originally composed for full orchestra as the sixth and final movement of my own second symphony Double Cross which musically chronicles the life and death of a man whose name has become synonymous with betrayal: Judas Iscariot. In the book of Matthew, chapter 27:1-10, Judas returns the blood money and hangs himself; the chief priests used the money and bought the Potter's field which became known as the Field of Blood, a burial place for strangers. This elegy for Judas is the haunting memoir of a traitor.Elegy is a piece just shy of seven minutes whose challenge is not in technical facility but rather in musical nuance. It gives many instruments opportunities to shine individually and in chamber-like settings, and it also challenges players to listen to the musical interactions in the fuller sections. Several specialty instruments are marked ad. lib., such as Eb clarinet, English horn, contrabassoon, double bass, and while they are optional, they sometimes do have prominent parts (especially English horn), but all optional instruments are either doubled or marked for cues when featured [NOTE: For ease of score reading, cues are not written out in the score; they are only cited on the appropriate lines]. So their presence is useful, but their absence is not prohibitive. Also, the score calls for some challenging ranges in the first horn, first bassoon and first/second trombones. These passages are marked with optional 8vb's, and the first bassoon and trombone have the opportunity to play a short passage in tenor clef. The timpani part includes suggested drum tunings, and it gives ample time and direction for the few pitch changes are required. The vibraphone part (Perc. 1) does employ four-mallet technique in places, but if this is not feasible (this would be a good piece in which to start learning it), the score specifies that Perc. 1 may be played on a piano instead. Percussion 3 calls for crotales, but in their absence, the glockenspiel may be used, and Perc. 3 already has that. The optional double bass part makes use of notes requiring a C extension, but it also gives optional small notes an octave higher in case the bassist has no C extension (which is likely). So in all, this piece offers plenty of challenges, but it also comes with optional escapes to help make it more accessible to more bands.Elegy-Field of Blood will challenge the musicality of good high school and college bands while still being a respectable member of professional repertoire. Its major performance challenges can be circumvented without terribly compromising the musicality, but they are available for maximum musical impact.

If its rotation changes, the energy begins to flow. Speeding up absorbs the power, braking leads to a release. Force is needed for momentum, but once the halt is overcome, the wheel is ready to provide. As well the gyroscope performs according to the same effect - standing, turning, keeping balance - like a floating dancing couple on the parquet floor. They soak impetus from 3/4-time of music. Once turning to the right, then turning to the left - and energy restarts to flow. Flowing, streaming, even sweeping somebody away. Totally infused with power we will be finally fulfilled. The PDF contains the score and all parts, already multiplied accordingly for a common number of musicians in a concert band. Published by Drennan Music Publications (A0.921039). This one was requested by a student a few years ago and it turned into my Concert Band’s favorite piece that year. A few things about this piece. First thing is that I had a large number of solid Alto Saxophone players when I arranged this. So there are two Alto Saxophone parts that are fairly even in skill level. Second thing is that there are a few punches that I pulled and a few I did not when it comes to simplifying the original piece for beginners. The triplet at the end of the main melody I changed to two eighth notes, and the Clarinets stay under the break. I left the accidentals as is, so there are Câ™s and a few others that are challenging. The harmonies in the B section of the main melody were left as is, as well as the rhythm in measures 41 to 47.

Concert Band - Digital Download SKU: A0.733009 Composed by Benjamin Ayotte. Contemporary. Score and parts. 30 pages. Ayotte Custom Musical Engravings #2075851. Published by Ayotte Custom Musical Engravings (A0.733009). A promise to stand by... this phrase indicate loyalty, steadfastness, being a man of one's word, knowing that integrity and honor are the enduring qualities by which we will be judged; not fame, fortune, influence, or other worldly measures. It is no surprise, therefore, that this phrase was incorporated by Lou Fortunate and Msgr Herman Kucyk, of blessed memory, into the alma mater of Divine Child High School. When I was approached by Mr. Bush and the Divine Child Band Boosters about the possibility of writing a piece to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the band program I was excited, flattered, and--most of all--humbled that I should be chosen out of many worthier candidates, in my estimation. Divine Child has had, for the longest time--since the beginning, it seems--a vibrant and thriving fine arts program involving music (both vocal and instrumental), theatre, and the visual arts as well as literature and poetry. I began to conceive of a work that would pay homage to each of these arts musically and be a celebration of all that Divine Child has to offer. One of my favourite composers, Gustav Mahler, famously said, a symphony must be like the world; it must contain everything. In the 1988 vice-presidential debate, Lloyd Bentsen famously said to Dan Quayle, Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy. A voice in my head said, Benjamin, you're no Gus Mahler. As the discarded drafts in the recycle bin took on a life of their own, I eventually dismissed the idea as impractical, and even vainglorious. I settled upon a more general idea to make the music about the band program. Most every student in the band program goes through the rigors of marching band and performs at the Falcon football games where they become intimate with the Three School Songs: the Falcon Fanfare, the Fight Song, and the Alma Mater. Taking the latter piece as my inspiration, I meditated upon the mission of the school: a promise to educate us in body, mind, and spirit. Divine Child High School stands by her promise, recruiting some of the best teachers in the area to guide us through the tumultuous adolescent years. We students, too, have a promise: to strive to be worthy of this gift, and to accept it and use it for the betterment of society. In band class, under Leo Tallieu, I learned to listen; to contribute to the group; to consider my part in relation to the whole ensemble; to show leadership when needed; and to be a role player when needed. And so, my conception of the piece changed. I wanted to use melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic devices that would be familiar to all DCHS band students, but to use them in a new and different way; to recontextualize them. As time went on, Bob Bush asked me if I would be able to work in a tribute to two band students who had tragically died in the last few years: Blaise H.

Premiered May 2, 2013. Notes about the Music: In the spring of 2012, I was in Minnesota attending some performances, and had the fortunate opportunity of catching up with Matthew George, conductor of the Grand Symphonic Winds. Matt had given the world premiere performance of my Concerto for Brass Quintet (Dodecafecta), and has always had a major presence in the formation of new works for winds, so I was very delighted when he brought up the idea of a new work for his group. The Grand Symphonic Winds, in honor of their 25th anniversary, were looking to celebrate the influx of many international cultures which had become a significant part of the landscape in Minnesota. This immediately called out to me in musical terms, namely in the forms of rhythms and spirituality (hence the title!) The piece opens and closes with heroic and beautiful music, signifying (to me) what most cultures seem to all be saying, but in different languages: we all just want peace, harmony and love. The entire middle section is very rhythmic, using many percussion instruments found in different cultures, also represented in Minnesota: Latin America (claves, bongos), Africa (Djembe) and if possible, Southeast Asia (Dholak). And just for fun, I even spelled out Minnesota in Morse code, but this was merely for my own enjoyment! I wish to thank Matt George, for all he has done for the field of music in Wind Ensembles, and specifically to him and the Grand Symphonic Winds for entrusting to me the responsibility of composing this new work, which I truly hope finds its home in the literature. Jim Stephenson March, 2013 Instrumentation: Wind Ensemble – one per part, except: 2 tubas recommended, French Horns doubled Recommended: Rhythm percussion sit in the middle of the ensemble, or immediately in front of the conductor, where visible to audience. Percussion instruments needed: Snare Drum, Bass Drum, Cymb. a2 Claves, Djembe, Marimba, Triangle, Vibes, Bongos (or Dholak) Xylophone, Glock., Tambourine, Sus. Cymb. Concert Band - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1139276 Composed by Ennio Morricone. Arranged by Juan José Peláez Vilanova. 20th Century,Film/TV. Score and parts. 47 pages. John Joseph #739559. Published by John Joseph (A0.1139276). The weight of Ennio Morriocone in the composition of film music in the second half of the s. XX is indisputable, in terms of innovation and production volume. The particular technique of treating the melodic cells will become a paradigm of his language, along with the use of innovative timbres, which were not common in the orchestral music of the time. The close collaboration with Sergio Leone during the 60s will contribute to consolidating him as a benchmark in the sound of the Western genre. After the success of the so-called Dollar Trilogy, Paramount Pictures asked Leone to repeat the formula before tackling other projects. This one, with a more generous budget, will start filming C'era una volta il West, an eclectic story in which all the characteristic elements of the genre are represented: the railroad, the gunslingers and bandits, the american pioneers, the woman of character indomitable and the enigmatic man in search of revenge. Leone again entrusted the soundtrack to Ennio Morricone, playing this one a fundamental role in the story. The present transcription incorporates the original sounds of the author, such as the harmonica, the electric and classical guitar, the harpsichord or the choir, in the ensemble of the concert band, seeking to achieve a greater sound fidelity with the score. Understanding the difficulty that having these resources can entail, the previous specific parts are of an optional nature, so that the arrangement also works without them, and also if any of the parts is incorporated independently of the rest.

In all fields of life, new findings are attained by science and research, more and more can be explained, a well-founded understanding of the things around is going to be achieved. However, the mysterious will still persist. Every new perception leads to further questions, new secrets are rising for being explored. Moreover, someone might perceive that in relation to the entire knowledge gained by mankind, the individual is shrinking. Thus, until the end of time the world will stay mysterious - the world seems to be a persistent secret, that wants to be discovered at all times anew. The musical motif of the Question begins with the very first sound of the piece - a dissonance that is harmoniously resolved again. This motif reflects the curiosity that lies dormant in all people. The dissonance creates a tension that can be seen as an impetus for the search for answers. The resolution to a major chord describes the confidence of being able to find an answer to the question. This musical motif runs through the entire work, both in the dreamy bliss of being and in the dramatic passages in which the flood of questions seems to become frightening. In such sections, the dissonance is turning into a minor chord. At the dramatic climax, a tense dominant seventh chord leads to the resolution to major, which finally describes the euphoria after the answer of a very difficult question. After a further phase of relaxation, the gaze wanders over nature in all its glory. Until towards the end of the piece, the awareness finally sets in that every answer found raises a new question and thus the mystery remains forever. The PDF contains the score and all parts, already multiplied accordingly for a common number of musicians in a concert band. Witness is a 1985 American neo-noir crime thriller film directed by Peter Weir, and starring Harrison Ford, Kelly McGillis and Lukas Haas, with Jan Rubeš, Danny Glover, Josef Sommer, Alexander Godunov, Patti LuPone and Viggo Mortensen in supporting roles. The film focuses on a police detective (Ford) protecting an Amish woman (McGillis) and her young son (Haas), who becomes a target after he witnesses a brutal murder in a Philadelphia train station. ~ WikipediaThis is an arrangement for concert band of the incidental music which was played while Harrison Ford's police detective character, John Book, assisted the Amish community with building a barn for a young Amish couple of newlyweds.(FYI: Earlier in the film, he had repaired a large birdhouse which he had accidentally knocked down with his car. So the Amish folks put him to work on the barn raising, as they called it.Also, before he was an actor, Ford was a licensed, professional carpenter. One of his clients at that time was Steven Spielberg.)This piece basically plays like a canon (e.g., Pachelbel's Canon in D). Concert Band - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1281978 Composed by John P.W. Hudson. 20th Century,Contest,Festival. Score and Parts. 90 pages. 'Published by John P.W. Hudson #872903. Published by 'Published by John P.W. Hudson (A0.1281978). Premiered June 6th, 2023 by the Killarney Senior Wind Ensemble and Alumni directed by Meagan Lawson, 'Killarney Carnivale' is a programmatic piece describing a small town carnival in rural Manitoba in the early 1930's, spotlighting the family of the town dentist, Dr. Martin McLaren, his wife Irene, and their six girls. 'Killarney Carnivale' describes a fictitious event, but the family is that of the composer, John Hudson. His mother, (second in a family of six girls), as a young teen in Killarney Manitoba, loved playing piano and aspired to be a concert pianist playing her favourite composers in concert halls. Her dreams took a different turn when the family had to move west for Dr. McLaren's health, but she carried with her the melodies she composed and later played to her own children.Picture John Hudson listening to hours of his mother playing piano as a young boy in the early 1950's, immersed in his mother's beautiful music. After her passing in 2010, he longed to hear these beautiful, playful melodies again. His sister Jane Keyes had become a professional piano player and happily took up the task of recreating several of their mother's pieces, which John, now a retired band director, began to transcribe. Inspired by a photograph of the family that very much looked like a carnival booth style photograph, 'Killarney Carnivale' came to life. It opens as the youngest, probably under age two at the time, wakes up. The scene swiftly changes to arrival at the much - anticipated carnival, with all of its magical sights, sounds and heavenly smells of popcorn and treats. First is the carousel, with wooden horses flying about in endless circles with children regaling with laughter. The next is a sideshow tent featuring the exotic dancer Salome, who wiled King Herod, (and probably more than a few in the audience) as her thin, tantalizing veils hinted at her charms. The next tent is dim and displays the wierd and mysterious curiosities from around the world like bearded ladies, dwarfs and the like. The cakewalk is next, with children vying to be the last person sitting as chairs are removed and the music abruptly stops each time. (This section could host a real cakewalk with a few chairs and willing audience participation. Three chairs is suggested.)Finally, the exhausted family drives home in their antique (to us) automobile with the childrens' hair flying in the breeze. One by one, the excited children fall prey to dreamland, and at long last, the exhausted parents flop into bed too.Honouring his mother's short pieces has been a life long dream of Mr. Hudson, and to hear them played by the Killarney Wind Ensemble and Alumni Band was a poignant moment: the return of these melodies to the little town where they first came to life. Many, many thanks to Meagan Lawson, their director, and all of the members of the Killarney band who so very willingly took up the challenge of playing 'Killarney Carnivale'. Their hard work and dedication to this piece is deeply, deeply appreciated.

Concert Band - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1028045 Composed by Nicholas McClure. Contemporary. Score and parts. 11 pages. Nicholas McClure #3226621. Published by Nicholas McClure (A0.1028045). On December 14, 2012, at 9:35 a.m., the entire country stood motionless, for a horrific act of terror was underway. Adam Lanza shot and killed 20 first-graders and 6 adults, at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut; a moment in history as one of the worst school shootings that our country has ever faced. Every single child which was murdered had a future of their own, taken away at the hands of a ruthless gunman, who in an instant, ended any chance that these 20 children had to have a happy life. Along with these children, were the 6 heroic staff members who so selflessly gave their life in order to stop this perpetrator who came to destroy the fragile object that we all call life. The title of this piece, The Sandy Hook Lullaby, is symbolic to represent the deaths and aftermath on that faithful day. This particular piece is a lullaby to represent the day that the victims lives were taken, ending with a peaceful goodbye. The song starts strong and valiant, to represent the beginning and potential of a new day. As it progresses, the song softens a bit, with clarinet lead, which represents the students learning in the classroom and the staff working as normal. A swell in volume represents the knowledge learned, as they are completely unaware of the events to follow. Halfway through, terror strikes. The percussion solo is representative of the the 5 minutes that the entire attack took place. The entire finale of the song is to represent the peaceful rest of those murdered, the final goodbye. The song ends softly, as the victims are put to rest, and because most of the victims were children, this comes in the form of a lullaby. Just as a loving and caring parent would put their child to sleep with a song, we give our final goodbyes with this Sandy Hook Lullaby. Thank you, and please enjoy with reverence and respect. -Nicholas McClure, Composer.

Here?sa new collection of thirty-two of America?s best-loved hymn tunes, at a bargainprice too! The arrangements are intended either as stand-alone pieces thatcould be used as interludes in a service, or they could be used to accompanysolo, choral or congregational singing. Thepublication consists of a four-staff score in concert pitch together withfifteen separate parts in various transpositions including a simplifiedoptional keyboard part. These four-partarrangements use flexible instrumentation so that you can exercise considerablecontrol over the instrumental voicing or use them for non-standard ensembles. You can also create interesting instrumentaltone color by omitting groups of instruments. If the ensemble is large enoughyou could omit brass instruments in the quieter sections, or use a solo trumpetagainst a woodwind background. There are endless possibilities. Thecomplete set includes Part 1 in B flat, E flat and C (high and low pitch); Part2 in B flat, E flat and C; Part 3 in B flat, E flat, F and C and Part 4 in Bflat, E flat and C. While Part 1 (high pitch) is suitable for flute and oboebeing an octave above concert, the low pitch version is more suited toelementary players. Part 2 in C is an octave higher than concert. Parts 3 and 4in C are in the bass clef. The arrangements could be played by virtually anycombination of conventional wind instruments.
