Organ - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1416935 Composed by Phil Lehenbauer. Arranged by Phil Lehenbauer. Christian,Classical,Contemporary,Sacred,Traditional. Score. 13 pages. Phil Lehenbauer #998524. Published by Phil Lehenbauer (A0.1416935). The hymn tune Wondrous Love was first set in the 1840 publication Southern Harmony. For this set of variations, I used the text at the end of the first phrase in the four verses found in most hymnals. It was written on a two manual instrument, but with more manuals has many more chances for wonderful registrations! The first performance of this work was by Carson Cooman at The Memorial Church, Harvard University on April 10, 2024.  I hope you enjoy playing it!

Organ - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.932696 Composed by William B. Bradbury. Arranged by Terry M. Forsyth. Christian,Sacred. Score. 4 pages. Forsyth Publishing #6113241. Published by Forsyth Publishing (A0.932696). This general purpose organ solo piece has a very peaceful, bluesy freedom while keeping true to the melody with only minimal additional notes. This piece is a favorite of my church members in a church where music during the service is restricted to hymns and songs people know. The only challenge is the first part of second verse with an obligato and accompanying figure both in left hand. This is also available for solo with flute for the intro and clarinet for the obligato of verse 2 which is very effective--and organ easier to play.

Organ: 3-staff - Intermediate SKU: LO.70-1054 Composed by Gerhard Krapf. Sacred, General, Hymn-Based Collection. Sacred Music Press #70/1054. Published by Sacred Music Press (LO.70-1054). UPC: 000308023831.The first volume of Creative Hymn Accompaniments by Gerhard Krapf met with wide acceptance, and The Sacred Music Press is pleased to offer this companion collection of 31 well-known hymn tunes for general and seasonal use. The organ accompaniments included here avoid extreme departures from traditional harmonies, and instead provide solid and refreshing alterations which will add interest and variety. Use of these accompaniments need not be restricted to a final stanza. Since each accompaniment is playable on one or two manuals, the organ introduction or a selected stanza may feature the tune played on a solo stop or combination. A contrasting stanza may then be played on one manual with principals and mixtures which support the congregational singing. Slight rhythmic adjustments may be necessary in some hymns to fit the variants which exist among different hymnals. Not difficult, and a handy master index for both volumes is provided.

Instrumental Solo,Pipe Organ - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1315325 Composed by Hans Zimmer. Arranged by Anna Lapwood. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary,Film/TV. Individual part. 8 pages. Anna Lapwood #904071. Published by Anna Lapwood (A0.1315325). Over the past couple of years I have written a number of film music transcriptions on and for the organ of the Royal Albert Hall in London. While the transcriptions are written with this organ in mind, often calling for specific colours such as the bass drum, carillons or tubular bells, they are adaptable on a number of different instruments and I’ve loved tweaking them in order to play them on organs all across the world. I hope you enjoy playing them as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them! When I was a teenager, my dad and brother would often choose the films we’d watch. When they chose Pirates of the Caribbean I was a bit sceptical at first because I thought it might be too scary, but I quickly fell in love with the film and its soundtrack – it became my favourite film series and I ended up listening to the soundtrack almost every day on the walk to and from school. In the films, the character of Davy Jones plays an iconic organ on his ship, the Flying Dutchman – I think it’s one of the most well-known organ references in contemporary cinema, and so it is one of my most requested pieces. I I also love the fact that Hans Zimmer includes a little nod to Bach’s Toccata in D minor, another piece which sits at the top of my request list. In the film, the start and end of this piece is played by a musical locket, perfectly replicated by the Celeste stop on the organ, although if a Celeste stop isn’t available then a soft 8’ flute would do the job!  - Anna Lapwood.

Organ - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1307164 Composed by James M. Guthrie. 21st Century,Chamber,Contemporary,Contest,Festival,Historic. Score. 3 pages. Jmsgu3 #896418. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1307164). Lili of St. Luke'sbyFran OlsenIn 1990, a small black and white spotted dog, who had been found wandering, abused and sick in Surry County, Virginia, was scheduled to be put down by the Surry SPCA as unadoptable. Â Three placements had failed because the young female was too afraid of the people. Â Her last chance was Richard Lee Austin, curator of Historic St. Luke's Church in Smithfield, Virginia. Â Austin had reluctantly agreed to look at the small spoodle. Â He had just lost a beloved Pekingese of 18 years and did not want to go through the pain of another loss. Â Lili, however, immediately seemed to know that this was her person, came directly to him and won his heart. Â It was a mutual love affair.Lili went eagerly to work with Dick at the Gift Shop of Historic St. Luke's Church in Smithfield, Virginia, for the next 11 years. Â She was gracious and never intrusive with the visitors. Â Small children were able to approach Lili without fear. Â She seemed to understand that she needed to be quite still with them.In 2000, Lili became the star of her own book, Lili of St. Luke's: Â The Blessing of the Animals. Â Written by Fran Olsen, a volunteer at the church, and illustrated by Buttons Boggs, the charming book tells the story of Lili's desire to go to church. Â The animals in the church yard scoff at her. Â She finally succeeds in going to church for the annual Blessing of the Animals service which commemorates the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi. Â Since the book was published many children have come to the church to have their picture taken with Lili.Mrs. Olsen, who is also the publisher, has donated a dollar from the sale of each book to be shared with Historic St. Luke's Church and three area humane societies with which Lili has been associated. Â Contributions in the first six months of publication were $1200.Lili died on June 7, 2001, from cancer. Â A week before she died, she made a personal appearance at a local elementary school. Â As always, she was gracious and gentle, even though later it was apparent that she was deathly ill. Â A bronze statute is planned to honor the gentle spoodle and will be placed at the church so children can continue to have their picture taken with her. Â This elegy was commissioned for performance at the annual Blessing service.
