Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1435089 Composed by Stanley M Hoffman. 21st Century,Classical,Opera. Score. 48 pages. Stanleymhoffman.com #1015189. Published by stanleymhoffman.com (A0.1435089). Opera Scenes 1. At the Clothing Department (3:00); 2. To Get a Ration (9:00) - vocal soloists & piano or chamber ensemble (cl, bn, tpt, tbn, perc, vln, vc) with live or prerecorded crowd noise - 2021, 2024. The libretto is comprised of the insightful observations of a young Jewish boy—Abraham “Abramek” Koplowicz—who was trapped by the Nazis in the Lodz ghetto and who later died in Auschwitz. The libretto appears before each scene in the scores. This may be a relatively brief piece, but it is a major one for me and posthumously for the author. I am fortunate to be the only person given blanket gratis permission to set the words of Abraham Koplowicz to music. He composed a book of poetry, plays, and artwork while imprisoned in the Lodz Ghetto before perishing later in Auschwitz before he could become a Bar Mitzvah. The contents of that book are quite good, sophisticated for his age. Abraham's late half-brother, Eliezer Grynfeld—who found the book in the 1990s—and I eventually became good friends. The Pope once kissed Eliezer's hand. That is how highly regarded this collection is and, by some stroke of luck or fate, I have got exclusive musical rights to the book until it enters the public domain. In my settings of AT THE CLOTHING DEPARTMENT and TO GET A RATION, I combine the musical language of Schoenberg's A SURVIVOR FROM WARSAW very nearly with the instrumentation of Stravinsky's A SOLDIER'S TALE - only the percussion instruments differ. The musical language of these brief opera scenes is appropriately terse, very much in keeping with the oppressiveness of imprisonment. Please have a look and a listen. Thank you for your consideration. ---Words originally in Polish by Abraham (“Abramek”) Koplowicz (b. 1930, Lodz, Poland, d. 1944, Auschwitz-Birkenau) Translation by Sarah Lawson and Małgorzata Koraszewska Adapted by Stanley M. Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.984012 Composed by Steven H. Boothe. Arranged by Ashley Ivers. Christian,Pop,Sacred. Score. 9 pages. Boothe Publishing #4360949. Published by Boothe Publishing (A0.984012). Just one person doing what he knows is right will set off a chain reaction for the good that will go on and on. Before I arrived at mission age I had to make a lot of decisions about whether or not I wanted to go on a mission. There were so many voices calling out to me. The voices promised me scholarships and fame. The voices questioned my logic. The voices tried to make me doubt my motives and character. The voices ridiculed me and my desires to do good. The voices told me that they loved me, but wouldn't wait for me if I went on a mission. All of those voices were demeaning of me if I went on a mission. They also promised me joy, but only if I decided not to go on a mission. I ultimately decided to go on a mission. By going on a mission I was put in a situation where I could testify of God's gospel truths. Those people hearing the truths had the opportunity to pray to God to find out for themselves if what they had been taught was true. Those people that talked to God in prayer joined the church. Why? Because God answered their prayers. Some of those new members went on missions to other lands converting through the spirit of the Holy Ghost others, who in turn went on missions to other lands. The cycle continues. Just one person doing what he knows is right can set off a chain reaction for the good that will go on and on.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.868757 Composed by Francesco CAVALLI (1602 – 1676). Arranged by Sergei PICHUGIN. Baroque,Concert,Instructional,Standards. Score. 5 pages. Really Good Music, LLC. #4580839. Published by Really Good Music, LLC. (A0.868757). Oh Dio, non far ch’io mora is an aria from Solo cantata I Ferma deh, ferma omai, written by the eminent Italian composer Francesco CAVALLI (1602 – 1676). The realization of the aria for voice and piano, made by Sergei Pichugin, is based on the manuscript, including twelve of Cavalli’s cantatas for voice solo. Ferma deh, ferma omai is the only cantata in the collection, composed for alto and basso continuo. The aria may be an invaluable addition to the repertoire of vocal teachers and students. It is available in the key of F minor (Eb4 – Eb5) for high voice.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.510526 By Ariana Grande. By Ariana Grande, Charles Anderson, Kimberly Krysiuk, Michael Foster, Tayla Parx, Taylor Parks, Tommy Brown, and Victoria McCants. Arranged by Mario Stallbaumer. Pop. Score. 5 pages. Mario Stallbaumer #4301505. Published by Mario Stallbaumer (A0.510526). Here’s how to play “thank u, next†by Ariana Grande on piano! With this piano sheet music, you can play “thank u, next†on piano - you can use it as an instrumental arrangement, but also accompany singers, or sing along yourself. This “thank u, next†piano version is transposed one half step from the original key of Bb minor to A minor, so it’s much easier to play. These piano sheets come with all parts of the song, full lyrics included. It’s not too hard to play and sounds fantastic! However, there’s a more challenging arrangement of the song in the original key available, you can get it here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/21155619Ariana Grande certainly knows what it's like if one's personal life is making headlines. In November 2018, she released thank u, next, a surprisingly positive song about her past relationships and breakups (including Mac Miller, Pete Davidson and Big Sean), in which she comes to the conclusion that she learned from all of them!“thank u, next†serves as the lead single from Ariana Grande’s fifth studio album. Here are the song’s full lyrics:“Thought I'd end up with SeanBut he wasn't a matchWrote some songs about RickyNow I listen and laughEven almost got marriedAnd for Pete, I'm so thankfulWish I could say, Thank you to Malcolm'Cause he was an angelOne taught me loveOne taught me patienceAnd one taught me painNow, I'm so amazingI've loved and I've lostBut that's not what I seeSo, look what I gotLook what you taught meAnd for that, I sayThank you, next (next)Thank you, next (next)Thank you, nextI'm so fuckin' grateful for my exThank you, next (next)Thank you, next (next)Thank you, next (next)I'm so fuckin'Spend more time with my friendsI ain't worried 'bout nothin'Plus, I met someone elseWe havin' better discussionsI know they say I move on too fastBut this one gon' last'Cause her name is AriAnd I'm so good with that (so good with that)She taught me love (love)She taught me patience (patience)How she handles pain (pain)That shit's amazing (yeah, she's amazing)I've loved and I've lost (yeah, yeah)But that's not what I see (yeah, yeah)'Cause look what I've found (yeah, yeah)Ain't no need for searching, and for that, I sayThank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, next (thank you)I'm so fuckin' grateful for my exThank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, next (said thank you, next)Thank you, next (next)I'm so fuckin' grateful for my exThank you, nextThank you, nextThank you, nextI'm so fuckingOne day I'll walk down the aisleHolding hands with my mamaI'll be thanking my dad'Cause she grew from the dramaOnly wanna do it once, real badGon' make that shit lastGod forbid something happensLeast this song is a smash (song is a smash)I've got so much love (love)Got so much patience (patience)I've learned from the pain (pain)I turned out amazing (turned out amazing)I've loved and I've lost (yeah, yeah)But that's not what I see (yeah, yeah)'Cause look what I've found (yeah, yeah)Ain't no need for searchingAnd for that, I'll sayThank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, nextI'm so fuckin' grateful for my exThank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, next (said thank you, next)Thank you, next (next)I'm.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889812 Composed by Ginny Saltzman. Children,Holiday. Score. 4 pages. Ginny's House of Music #4316803. Published by Ginny's House of Music (A0.889812). *The First Thanksgiving Day - This is a very cute little Thanksgiving song that would not only be good for the Elementary Level piano student, but also would be very good for a school Thanksgiving program. All of the bass chords are open 5ths to sound like Indian drums. It also has lots of staccato, accents, and very entertaining lyrics.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1380774 Composed by Jason V. Barabba. 21st Century,Chamber,Classical,Comedy,Contemporary. Score. 29 pages. Barabba Music #965563. Published by Barabba Music (A0.1380774). Text adapted from the essay by Edgar Allan PoeEdgar Allan Poe must have been cheated or swindled by someone good because only that can explain the existence of this angry little essay. In it he rails against the dark hearts of men who seek out to steal or cheat from others. If you’re getting some sort of double entendre from his now largely extinct use of the term diddling … well … you’ve got a dirty mind and I have no idea what you’re talking about. For more information, visit www.jasonbarabba.com.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1025229 Composed by Thomas C. Baggaley (ASCAP). Broadway,Musical/Show. Score. 15 pages. Quest Haven Publishing #6593771. Published by Quest Haven Publishing (A0.1025229). A Broadway-style song about ... writer's block? The singer is a songwriter who is tasked with writing a song for a character in a musical she is working on, but the words just won't come, mostly because the character's situation hits a little too close to home.Duration 3:30. Range F3-D5. This is a version of the song that has been arranged for a lower voice. The original song is also available and is for a higher voice. The vocal part has a wide range but otherwise the part is not too difficult. Challenging piano accompaniment. A good showcase piece offering the vocalist an opportunity to not only display her range, but also her ability to act/emote.Follow the composer on Twitter (@tbaggaley), Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/thbaggaley) and Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/artist/5w8hCxLossKZuXCV9ta1X2?si=hxxGgUdGR9WyW9nTja4x0g) and visit his web page at http://www.baggaleymusic.comFollow Quest Haven Publishing on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Quest-Haven-Publishing-107839156014/) and visit us at http://www.questhavenpublishing.com

Voice and piano - Medium - Digital Download SKU: MQ.8492-12E Composed by MeeAe Cecilia Nam and Theodore Gouvy. Instrument part. 7 pages. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #8492-12E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.8492-12E). French.Gouvy was known for writing some of the most beautiful melodies of the Romantic period. His style is a combination of German forms and an early French romantic harmonic structure. His writing for the piano in the songs is totally unified in mood and description with the voice, just as the piano is in Schubert’s songs. The equal partnership of the vocal line and piano interact closely to bring the poetry vividly into life with unimaginable artistic heights and unbridled passion. This volume includes Gouvy songs set to 18 poems of Philippe Desportes (1546–1606), and 18 poems of Moritz Hartmann (1821–1872). The elements of Romantic love poetry, such as enchanting love and its pain, and the personifying of nature, are fluently described with a great sensitivity in both voice and piano. Gouvy’s melody stir up the imagination because of his special treatment of words through a distinguishable and melodious vocal line, and his story telling and poetic treatment and development of the piano accompaniment. His compositional artistry places him in the upper echelons of art-song composers. One should note that Gouvy had a special fondness for the 16th Century poetry of La Pléiade (a group of Renaissance French poets, led by Pièrre de Ronsard (1524–1585). Desportes was truly the heir to Ronsard; however his work, when compared to that of Ronsard, is filled with greater abstraction and greater fluidity. Desportes seems to avoid any of the passionate anger that is occasionally characteristic of La Pléiade. This may be an indication that Desportes lived in a less distressed time. It also seems necessary to point out that he learned much in his early career by copying and studying the earlier works of La Pléiade. This has led some scholars to label him as a plagiarist, but it is important to realize that all the members of La Pléiade copied from each other when they wished to learn something new, and truly understand the style of the other poets in the group. Gouvy’s only choice of poems from his contemporaries, were the works of Moritz Hartmann (1821–1872), a good friend of Gouvy’s. Much of his poetry was strongly political in support of freedom of the individual. He traveled to Leipzig in 1845, but when the authorities discovered a volume of patriotic poems entitled Kelch und Schwert (Chalice and Sword), he fled to Belgium and France. It is at this time that he possibly met Théodore Gouvy. Eighteen poems of Hartmann were translated from German to French by the French poet, Adolph Larmande, of whom very little is known. Pierre Toussaint Adolphe Larmande seems to have been a rather obscure poet and musician. We know that he taught music theory at the Paris Conservatory at the same time Anton Reicha and Michele Carafa were on the faculty. We also know that in 1847 he married an English woman by the name of Marie Caroline Bradley. There are random documents, such as a Certificate of Arrival in London, England, in 1837, but there are no birth and death dates given, and that includes his obituary notice.
