This selection, No. 5 of 15 in the work, is taken from the 1920 English translation by Winfred Douglas and is well-suited as a solo piece. The choral parts were easily translated into an accompaniment on organ, although piano can be used. The movement is in its original key and is suited for a high tenor (the original solo called for in the work) or soprano. This arrangement is also available in G minor and E minor for lower voices. This piece would also work as a unison choir piece.
