Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1370002 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Kathryn W. Hales. Children,Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Score. 6 pages. Kevin G. Pace #954376. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1370002). A children's song, telling the story of the sons of Mosiah from the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Christ. Â Music by Kevin G. Pace. Â Text by Kathryn W. Hales.Text:The Lord told King Mosiah to let his sons go away, To the land of Nephi where for many years they'd stay. They wanted to preach the gospel in the Lord's ministry, To the sinful, wicked Lamanites who were their enemies. Now one of the sons was Ammon who had been a rebellious youth, But after Alma's change of heart, he wanted to know the truth. He became Lamoni's servant, watching over the king's sheep, He beat some robbers who came to steal, leaving a pile of arms at his feet. Then he taught King Lamoni the true source of his strength and might, That the king should change his ways, repent and do what's right. Lamoni believed what Ammon taught and all his people too, They became so very righteous because God's promises are true.Aaron was another son of Nephite King Mosiah, He taught of the Creation, of the Fall and God's Son who would die To save all men from death and sin, yea, Jesus, the Holy One, Who would come to earth at some future day to save each and ev'ry one.Omni and his brother Himnor were also Mosiah's sons, But not much is recorded about their missions. But they were faithful servants during all their trial filled days, They taught many people how to walk in God's own chosen way.Chorus:I want to be like Mosiah's sons and share God's holy word. I can be a missionary, a servant of the Lord. I can be so very courageous, I can the gospel teach, That all may know God's holy grace is within their loving reach.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.879214 Composed by Dennis Frayne. Arranged by Dennis Frayne. Folk,Holiday,Patriotic,Spiritual,Standards. Score. 4 pages. Presto! It's Music Magic Publishing #6022305. Published by Presto! It's Music Magic Publishing (A0.879214). Michael, Row the Boat Ashore is an African-American Spiritual, written by slaves when they were fighting for and winning their freedom from slavery during the American Civil War. This song has been written here three times, each with the same melody, but each using notes from a different scale. Musicians refer to songs using different scales as being in different keys. First, the song is written using notes from the C Major Scale. Second, the song is written using notes from the D Major Scale. Third, the song is written using notes from the E Major Scale. When we write the same song using notes from different scales, or in different keys, we call that transposing the music. When a song transitions from one key to another key, we call that a key change, or a modulation. Includes lyrics and solfege syllables. Written using letter names, perfect for students who are learning to navigate the piano keyboard prior to reading standard music notation.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.738138 Composed by Fiona Hickie. Contemporary,Standards. Score. 7 pages. Fiona Alice Hickie #4853343. Published by Fiona Alice Hickie (A0.738138). A song about loss of love and the devastation it causes to our lives. Lyrics: 1. My roots once clung to the earth, The wind is calm the river still. As if nothing else survives. My world is empty, am I alive? From my limbs a fruit was plucked, Within its sheath my heart was tucked. Its seeds contained my unknown future, Inside a flesh so sweet and pure. 2. Would my seeds find a place to fall? Nice fertile ground so they'd grow tall. Or would they find some barren ground. Where no love or nurture can be found? Without the fruit my limbs were bare. An old tree nearby just stood and stared. Why should it stop and help the tree Who let its fruit be taken from thee. 3. About the charmer who took the fruit? Should he help to make them grow? Instead he walked right off the land. With barely a wave of his hand. He bit the apple as he walked away. Enjoying its flesh but did not stay. No care at all for the damage he’d done He took the heart from his loved one. 4. So grow another fruit you say. And yes that would be the logical way. But some trees grow abundant fruit. Small and nice without dispute. Others instead grow one to perfection. Round and sweet, on close inspection. But once it’s gone then that is all. Then no more shall ever fall. 5. I sit here on the barren hill, The wind is calm the river still. As if nothing else survives. The world is empty no soul survives.

Score. 8 pages. Cheryl Prazak #885157. Published by Cheryl Prazak (A0.1294831). “Cast your bread upon the waters†- Ecclesiastes 11:1Lyricist Cheryl Prazak blends eclectic and nostalgic lyric themes with lively renditions of traditional tunes in her new release “Hearts Aflame.â€Working with arranger/producer Jon Burr of arrangerforhire.com, and the wonderful vocalist Sammie Jane, these tracks were created for your enjoyment in the celebration of Christ. The album title and song Hearts Aflame were inspired by the 2023 Asbury Revival at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky.Footprints In The GardenOn the path were footprints in the garden, whose they were, I could not find a sign.Thinking I was alone in the garden, I supposed the footprints to be mine.I could not hear your sweet voice pleading, summoning me from a world somewhere. You were in the garden interceding, but I didn’t remember that You care. I could not hear your kind voice calling, lost was I in a world of despair. On my heavy heart your voice was falling, I had long forgotten You were there. Now I hear your voice gently whispering, falling softly as the morning dew.I can feel your loving touch refreshing, bidding me to start my life anew. All the time You were there in the garden, giving me your love and strength sublime.I thought I was alone in the garden; wondrously, You were there all the time. But now your gentle voice I am hearing, breaking through the din and through the fray.Yours the voice of my kind Master speaking, in the garden from which I did stray.Like roses lost within a labyrinth, still fragrantly blossom in the rain.In the garden now two sets of footprints, that is where my roses bloom again. That is where my roses bloom again.

Published by Cheryl Prazak (A0.1327438). Part of Cheryl Prazak's Military Trilogy, this is a story of parental advice to a grown child who's become down on their luck. This is a piano/vocal arrangment. Music, arranging and production by Jon Burr The Lyric:Everything was fine, not so very long ago.I had a weekly paycheck, I was rolling in the dough.I had a truck, got me where I needed to go.I didn’t know how much I had, ‘til things began to blow.Everything was fine, then my tire picked up a tack. The rubber was so thin, you see, it really set me back.“What’s the problem now?†was all my boss would say,Gave me my last paycheck, and sent me on my way…So, here I am remembering, not so long ago,I had a weekly paycheck, I was rolling in the dough.I had my pick-up truck back then, had a shirt. and had a wife.I didn’t know how little I had because, well, that was life.Sleeping in my pick-up truck, the light began to dawn.I would go back home, before my last chance was blown.I would tell my loving folks, at last I saw the light, My prospects didn’t look so good, my future, none too bright.Could they start me off again, with tuition and the such, andhelp me get a-brand new tire, for my raggedy ol’ truck? If they could be so kind, as to set me on my way, I would do my very best, their kindness to repayConsider the military, said my folks, sounding wisethey told me I need extra time, didn’t mean to criticizeMaybe they were onto something, maybe that could helpWhy, oh, why didn’t I think of that myself?Military life’s not easy, as I learned from the start, but I came out much the better, and learned to have some heart.Well, I’m that better man now, after going through all this. Finally got my life in shape, it had been so amiss.I repaid my folks’ advice, as I promised that I would,Became the son they hoped for, the man they knew I could. We often go to see them, and they visit the wife and me,Now they’re contented grandfolks, with babies on each knee!Once upon a time, when I was really stuck, I went back home to see the folks, which became a day of luck.Military service, I’m glad I took it up.Life changed for me, when I stopped sleeping in that ol’ truck.

The death of Jesus Christ was not the end of the son of God. Having passed the test of His mortal probation here on earth, and giving His life to pay the price of our sins, He then entered the world of spirits. There He would organize His servants to preach His gospel to those who had died without a knowledge of it. It was the beginning of His role as the first fruit of the resurrection. Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind. When the Jews crucified Him they thought that they were putting an end to He who would be God. They thought that by killing Him they would be in control of the people. They had no idea that they were fulfilling the prophecy that they would kill their own God. They gave Him the opportunity to use His power over death to redeem all mankind. His end truly was His beginning. By dying he was living the life He had planned.

I look at addictions as if they were little devils that have us down and are jumping on top of us and won’t let us get up. Little by little the addicted and all of his friends and family lose faith, hope, love, peace, joy, and self respect. The shame of addiction keeps them in despair. They constantly have voices in their heads that say you’re no good, you’re no good, do you hear me, you’re no good. Well I’m here to tell you that is a lie. You are good. You are worth something. Life , family, love, peace, joy. Those are all things that are worth fighting for. Take them back. You are not unworthy. You can fight the addiction. You have made mistakes that are correctable. God tells us to resist the devil and he will flee from you. Then God says to draw near unto Him and He will draw near unto you. When God draws close to us, we will recieve His strength and power to leave the addiction behind. With Him we can overcome anything.

Published by Boothe Publishing (A0.984012). Just one person doing what he knows is right will set off a chain reaction for the good that will go on and on. Before I arrived at mission age I had to make a lot of decisions about whether or not I wanted to go on a mission. There were so many voices calling out to me. The voices promised me scholarships and fame. The voices questioned my logic. The voices tried to make me doubt my motives and character. The voices ridiculed me and my desires to do good. The voices told me that they loved me, but wouldn't wait for me if I went on a mission. All of those voices were demeaning of me if I went on a mission. They also promised me joy, but only if I decided not to go on a mission. I ultimately decided to go on a mission. By going on a mission I was put in a situation where I could testify of God's gospel truths. Those people hearing the truths had the opportunity to pray to God to find out for themselves if what they had been taught was true. Those people that talked to God in prayer joined the church. Why? Because God answered their prayers. Some of those new members went on missions to other lands converting through the spirit of the Holy Ghost others, who in turn went on missions to other lands. The cycle continues. Just one person doing what he knows is right can set off a chain reaction for the good that will go on and on.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.776827 Composed by Various. Arranged by Leonora Hardy. Christian,Easter,Religious,Sacred. Score. 13 pages. Leonora Hardy #5032235. Published by Leonora Hardy (A0.776827). This collection four hymns can each be used by themselves, but they have been assembled in an order which flows easily from one to the other without need of a transition. This makes them useful for communion at any time of the year. Altogether, their timing is about 4 1/2 minutes, each played through once, depending on tempo. Any song, of course, can be played more than once to fit the length of communion. These easily learned arrangements are for the church pianist who wants to have a more flowing style of music to accompany congregational singing. To that end, the melodies are all retained, as well as traditional rhythms to help singers even if a song leader is not present. They are also suitable for preludes or offertories. Lyrics are included. Intermediate Hymns level. Right hand melody. Songbook / CollectionSongs included are:The Old Rugged CrossWere You There?Jesus, Keep Me Near the CrossJesus Paid It All

I Found a Jewel♫ original song by Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ (Worship Team Edition)♫ based on Matthew 13:45-46♫ CCLI Song # 7142178♫ Well known melody from the Scottish folksong Waly, Waly (The Water is Wide.)♫ with optional flute part♫ The most precious and valuable gems of the Roman empire were not faceted diamonds and the like, but pearls. Jesus challenges us to consider the Kingdom of God as the most valuable and desirable possession a person can dream of. ♫ The tune for the song is based on the Scottish folksong Waly, Waly (The Water is Wide.) Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.779670 Composed by Arthur Le Clerq. Arranged by Kim Kirkman. Broadway,Contemporary,Musical/Show,Traditional. Score. 4 pages. Kim Kirkman #6697499. Published by Kim Kirkman (A0.779670). This is a wonderful old comedy song.I have put it into the key that Tessie O'Shea sings it (Ab major)I have put in the first verse that Tessie sings, plus the spoken part. I have changed some of the words of the spoken part to update them.I have then constructed a third verse from other verses that Le Clerq wrote. To sing it exactly like Tessie please repeat first verse.Words:Verse:For years a fairy queen I've bin', For years I foiled the demon king. But alas, I'm getting on, The years have flown somehow, And I feel that Fairy Snowdrop isn't wanted now. Chorus One:Nobody loves a fairy when she's forty. Nobody loves a fairy when she's old. She may still have her magic power, But that is not enough, They like their bit of magic from a younger bit of fluff. When once your silver star has lost its glitter, And your tinsel looks like rust instead of gold. Your fairy days are ending when your wand has started bending. Noone loves a fairy when she's old.Spoken:T'was I who found the magic wand, I will not tell you where.T'was I who found young Tinkerbell, her head was full of airI’ve been a fairy of the flowers, and fairy daffodils,I’ve been a fairy of the wind, and suffer from it still! In certain covered valley hills I go down to the glenBeen loved by all the children and run after by the men. Huh!Noone could touch me at me splits, me splits were all the rage,Until the night woodman left his chopper on the stage, what a mess! Verse 2:Nobody loves a fairy when she's forty. Nobody loves a fairy when she's old. As far as I can see they try to push you off the map, When once your wand has withered and your wings refuse to flap. When you have lost your little fairy dimples, And the mothholes in your dress let in the cold, It seems that they would sooner listen to a blinkin' crooner, Noone loves a fai-y when she's old!

The trees told the flowers hiding there by the hilltop. The clouds told the moon that shone above. So angry yet blue when they found out that youAnd your heart had another love. The brook became angry and changed to a river, rushing so madly along. The soft summer breeze that played tag with the trees, became so wild and so strong. The bashful white flowers hiding there by the hilltop,Grew dark when the rain came pouring down.Their hearts couldn't hide all the tears that were cried,And had carpeted upon the ground. The storm has gone over, there'll be sunshine again. The chains that held me are now gone. The trees wave hello as I stand here below,And the brook sings the sweetest song. The bashful white flowers are again by the hill-top.The sun and the moon are still my friends.I promise there'll be no more heartaches for me,Till I fall in love again.

Voice and piano - Medium - Digital Download SKU: MQ.8492-12E Composed by MeeAe Cecilia Nam and Theodore Gouvy. Instrument part. 7 pages. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #8492-12E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.8492-12E). French.Gouvy was known for writing some of the most beautiful melodies of the Romantic period. His style is a combination of German forms and an early French romantic harmonic structure. His writing for the piano in the songs is totally unified in mood and description with the voice, just as the piano is in Schubert’s songs. The equal partnership of the vocal line and piano interact closely to bring the poetry vividly into life with unimaginable artistic heights and unbridled passion. This volume includes Gouvy songs set to 18 poems of Philippe Desportes (1546–1606), and 18 poems of Moritz Hartmann (1821–1872). The elements of Romantic love poetry, such as enchanting love and its pain, and the personifying of nature, are fluently described with a great sensitivity in both voice and piano. Gouvy’s melody stir up the imagination because of his special treatment of words through a distinguishable and melodious vocal line, and his story telling and poetic treatment and development of the piano accompaniment. His compositional artistry places him in the upper echelons of art-song composers. One should note that Gouvy had a special fondness for the 16th Century poetry of La Pléiade (a group of Renaissance French poets, led by Pièrre de Ronsard (1524–1585). Desportes was truly the heir to Ronsard; however his work, when compared to that of Ronsard, is filled with greater abstraction and greater fluidity. Desportes seems to avoid any of the passionate anger that is occasionally characteristic of La Pléiade. This may be an indication that Desportes lived in a less distressed time. It also seems necessary to point out that he learned much in his early career by copying and studying the earlier works of La Pléiade. This has led some scholars to label him as a plagiarist, but it is important to realize that all the members of La Pléiade copied from each other when they wished to learn something new, and truly understand the style of the other poets in the group. Gouvy’s only choice of poems from his contemporaries, were the works of Moritz Hartmann (1821–1872), a good friend of Gouvy’s. Much of his poetry was strongly political in support of freedom of the individual. He traveled to Leipzig in 1845, but when the authorities discovered a volume of patriotic poems entitled Kelch und Schwert (Chalice and Sword), he fled to Belgium and France. It is at this time that he possibly met Théodore Gouvy. Eighteen poems of Hartmann were translated from German to French by the French poet, Adolph Larmande, of whom very little is known. Pierre Toussaint Adolphe Larmande seems to have been a rather obscure poet and musician. We know that he taught music theory at the Paris Conservatory at the same time Anton Reicha and Michele Carafa were on the faculty. We also know that in 1847 he married an English woman by the name of Marie Caroline Bradley. There are random documents, such as a Certificate of Arrival in London, England, in 1837, but there are no birth and death dates given, and that includes his obituary notice.

We also know that in 1847 he married an English woman by the name of Marie Caroline Bradley. There are random documents, such as a Certificate of Arrival in London, England, in 1837, but there are no birth and death dates given, and that includes his obituary notice.

Voice and piano - Medium - Digital Download SKU: MQ.8492-04E Composed by MeeAe Cecilia Nam and Theodore Gouvy. Instrument part. 5 pages. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #8492-04E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.8492-04E).
