Alto Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.866108 Composed by Gustav Mahler. Arranged by Yoon Jae Lee. Romantic Period,Sacred. 12 pages. Ondine Press #3114457. Published by Ondine Press (A0.866108). This is the piano vocal score to an arrangement of the 5th movement of Mahler's Third Symphony, Es Sungen Drei Engel from Des Knaben Wunderhorn. This arrangement is one of 4 versions by Yoon Jae Lee, the curator of the Mahler Chamber Project. Version D is solo voice (alto solo). This version omits the boy’s (children’s choir) and women's chorus allowing for performances of this work to be sung by only one singer. The vocal is nearly identical to Mahler's original Lieder version but the revisions made to the final symphonic version, both rhythmic and structural, have been incorporated into this arrangement. Given the wide tessitura of the vocal part, it may be a stretch to say that it is ideally suited for alto. A few ossia parts with lower notes are given where the voice goes to a high register. This arrangement can be performed as a stand alone work with piano, or with Yoon Jae Lee’s reduction for chamber orchestra or with Mahler’s original forces.

Alto Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.976930 Composed by Sabrina Pena Young. Children,Film/TV,Holiday,Musical/Show,Opera. 2 pages. Sabrina Peña Young #3430805. Published by Sabrina Peña Young (A0.976930). Sweet moving lullaby from groundbreaking animated opera film Libertaria by award-winning composer. A sad emotional waltz feel as the singer tells her child that she will never leave her. Simple, short, and quite beautiful. Intermediate/Advanced Student or Music Professional.Award-winning Cuban-American Composer S. Peña Younghttps://sabrinapenayoung.wordpress.com/Contact Young directly at FacebookFACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/newmusiccomposerLIBERTARIA: THE VIRTUAL OPERAhttps://virtualopera.wordpress.com/ ABOUT LIBERTARIA: In a post-USSA apocalyptic world, the young Libertaria escapes from evil geneticists and teams up with her addict father Simeon to defeat the Collective with a ragtag Underground army of cyborgs and misfits. The world’s first machinima opera, Libertaria has been called Groundbreaking by the Palm Beach Arts Paper. A truly dystopian novelization, the Libertaria Chronicles, is now available at Amazon. One of my favorite things about this story is its odd apocalyptic tone and strong sci-fi/fantasy foundation. The dark quality that comes with it is the cherry on top. –FanboysAnonymous.comWHAT FANS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE LIBERTARIA CHRONICLESBetween the book, virtual opera, soundtrack, and all the extras, Young has created a convincing world…a dark dystopian future for you to get lost in. The characters are complex, flawed, and human, and you are never sure what they will do next. Looking forward to the next book in the series!Award-winning Cuban-American composer S Peña Young has a rich history of creating groundbreaking classical music with cutting edge works like the multimedia oratorio Creation, winner of the IAWM New Genre Prize, World Order #5 for percussion and multimedia, and collaborations with artists in Vox Novus 60×60 and Lee Scott’s interactive web opera The Village. In 2014 Young gave a TED Talk on her animated science fiction opera Libertaria, the world’s first machinima opera. Young is the author of the science fiction series The Libertaria Chronicles and Composer Boot Camp 101: 50 Exercises for Educators, Students, and Music Professionals, (available at AMAZON) and is in production for the animated film Spiritus. Young is a sought-after lecturer and writer on music technology, audio engineering, film music, composition/songwriting, film, social media, online collaboration, marketing, and contemporary music and is an advocate for new music.

Alto Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1492563 Composed by Thomas Moore. Arranged by Alex Nunes Rodrigues. Folk. 2 pages. Alex Rodrigues #1069242. Published by Alex Rodrigues (A0.1492563). The Last Rose of Summer is a work deeply rooted in Irish culture, originally penned as a poem by the renowned poet and composer Thomas Moore in 1805. Moore, regarded as Ireland’s national poet, was inspired by an 'Old Blush' rose while staying at Jenkinstown Castle in County Kilkenny, Ireland. The poem was published as part of his Irish Melodies collection between 1807 and 1834, and later set to music by fellow Irishman John Stevenson. The song gained widespread popularity and was incorporated into the opera Martha by the German composer Friedrich von Flotow, which premiered in 1847 in Vienna. This sheet music has been adapted for voice and piano, preserving the original melody true to the composition by Moore and Stevenson. The piano arrangement has been simplified to provide an accessible experience for music teachers who, even without extensive piano skills, wish to accompany their students. This arrangement maintains the melodic and emotional essence of the piece, offering a version that honors its traditional nuances while making it approachable for beginner to intermediate musicians. The Last Rose of Summer captures the essence of melancholy and the passage of time—universal themes reflected in the farewell to the last vestige of a vibrant summer. The melody, paired with Moore’s poetry, evokes a profound sense of loss and longing, with the solitary rose serving as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of life and the seasons. The simplicity and beauty of this piece have made it a classic, both in literature and music, perpetuating Irish tradition and touching the hearts of listeners worldwide.

Published by Alex Rodrigues (A0.1492536).
