Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Piano,Soprano Saxophone - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.533210 Composed by Ali Ben Sou Alle. Arranged by Paul Wehage. Concert,Folk,Holiday,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 17 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #1986205. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.533210). One of the most enigmatic figures in the history of the Saxophone, Ali Ben Sou Alle (c was born in 1820 in Arras, France. After receiving his first prize in Clarinet at the Paris Conservatory in 1844. he served as the director of music of The French Marine Band in Senegal, and then was named first clarinet solo at the Opéra-Comique in Paris. However, after the Revolution of 1848, Soualle was forced to flee France to England where he settled in London, playing in the Orchestra of the Queen's Theatre. His songs and piano pieces were published in London. While in London, Soualle met another exiled French musician, Louis Antoine Jullien, who conducted a light music series in London. Jullien encouraged Soualle to take up the saxophone, and after modifying the instrument by adding a single octave mechanism (the modern system used today) and keys for the lower register, Soualle became known as a virtuoso and began touring performing solo recitals (or mono-concerts, as they were called at the time). He performed in all the European capitals and then traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Manilla, Java, through China and then to India where he finally settled in Mysore, becoming the director of the Royal Music for the Maharadjah. It was during this period that he converted to Islam and changed his nmae to Ali ben Sou Alle (or Ali, son of Soualle). He subsequently travaled to Ile Maurice, to French Polynesia, the Cap of Natal and the Cap of Good Hope. All of these voyages were subjects of musical works which Soualle entitled Souvenirs de... and may perhaps have been part of a collection known as The Royal Album which was presented to the Prince of Wales after a royal concert. Soualle returned to Mysore in 1858 and was almost killed in the Indian Revolution. Around 1860, Soualle returned to France for health reasons and began publishing his own music. On March 27 1865, he performed a command performance for the Emperor Napoleon III at the Tuileries Palace in the presence of the entire Imperial Family. After 1865, nothing more is known about him. Divertissement sur Une Ballade Irlandaise begins with a lyric introduction in bel canto style. The Irish Ballade is named in the score as « My Lodging is on the Cold Ground », but is sometimes known as « Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms » and is followed by a brilliant variation. After an ornamented modal passage in 6/8, the allemande theme is presented first in a moderate tempo, and then in a more rapid variant which uses « cross string » figerations similar to those used by fiddlers.

On March 27 1865, he performed a command performance for the Emperor Napoleon III at the Tuileries Palace in the presence of the entire Imperial Family. After 1865, nothing more is known about him. Soualle not only performed on the clarinet, saxophone and piano, but also frequently sang during his concerts. He also wrote songs while he was in London. His opera fantasies are usually written for the Alto saxophone and are generally in the form of an introductory aria with cadenza, a theme with one or more variations and then a final waltz movement in rondo form with a final brillant variation. This specific work opens with motives from the Opera‘s overture, leading to Donna Anna’s 1st act aria Or sai, chi l'onore. The duet Là ci darem la mano is the subject of two variations followed by a brief interlude using Zerlina’s aria Batti, batti, o bel Masetto and then the final section is the duo Andiam’ Andiam ‘ Mio Bene between Don Giovanni and Zerlina which ends the Act I duet. The work ends with a brillant coda

Flute - Intermediate - Digital Download Composed by Pat Holmberg. 21st Century, Ragtime, Repertoire. Score. 24 pages. Published by Patricia Tanttila Holmberg
Here are fourteen ragtime style flute duets - very contrapuntal - equally challenging and fun in both parts - sure to help teenage flute students keep on with their lessons! Below, find some reviews by flute teachers:Here are some reviews for these duets from flute teachers: ByDr. Mom on November 19, 2013 As a flute teacher, I watch for new and interesting music for my students. These Rags are terrific! They are harmonically and musically interesting, introduce a style to the students with which they may be unfamiliar yet has a "jazzy" feel, and are simple enough in range, rhythm and length (they're relatively brief) to be approachable to the intermediate student - a level at which one often needs interesting music to keep them going! - and above. I had one student who is versed in jazz (plays jazz trumpet) who tried to swing these, so I had the opportunity to work with him on how Rags differ from "swung" jazz, which was kind of fun. I feel these duets fill a need in the modern flute studio, and recommend them highly. Something to Rag about - for students & performers a-like! By Em on November 16, 2013 This 12-piece book is a delightful introduction to ragtime for flutists, who usually don't get the chance to play much jazz or "rag" music. What I perhaps enjoy most about the book is, the 2nd flute part has many chances for nice melodic interplay or fun walking bass lines to accompany the 1st flute. (Unlike many duet books that have a rather stagnant bass line for the 2nd flute/accompaniment.) If you are playing with students who are new to the territory, it is a great book to have them develop an ear for jazz chords. You'll need to review how to swing eighths, since that isn't covered here --it's for Intermediate players after all :). The lines should not be incredibly challenging though, and it is presented in such a way that whether up or down tempo, it's still fun to play. I did like playing most of the pieces up-tempo, though! My top favorite pieces are #5- "Forget-Me-Not", #6 - "Cotton Candy Rag", #11 - "High Country Stomp" (it's nice got a nice lilting feel) and #12- "Green Mountain Saunter." There is a great variety, and each piece has a memorable melody. Grab a flutist friend and play these! If you like to have up-beat and playful tunes (especially during these cold winter months) these will warm you up real fast. Hi Patricia,The Ragtime Miniatures for Two Flutes – Set 1 Intermediate by Patricia Holmberg lends itself to development in rhythmic and reading skills. It offers studies of syncopated rhythms in 4/4 and 12/8. The 12/8 duets support improvement in the student’s triple feel. Also, the changes in meter challenge and support the enhanced reading skills of the student. Furthermore, the chromatic tones offer stylistic colors to the student’s assortment of fingering patterns. Students using the book had a positive response to the melodic content: it was fun to play—a breath of fresh air.Thank you for bringing your book to my attention. We await set two. Phyllis G. Ragtime Miniatures- Intermediate By Jean A. E. on November 7, 2013 This is Intermediate level music, it can satisfy several levels of players, and altho rags come over stylistically the same , these are varied enough . Except for mostly using flat key signatures, and having some confusion in finding your way around repeats and da capos, these are pleasant little works, some of which would make nice concert encores. The only feature I as a performer corrected when my friend and I played them thru was to 8 va some of the too low 2nd parts. Doing this seemed to improve the voicing. So In general, nice work,Pat!!Professional Flutist/ performer Jean A. "Back to School 2015".

Alto Saxophone,Piano - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.533508 Composed by Ali Ben Sou Alle. Concert,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and part. 35 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #3002551. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.533508). This fantasy uses motifs from Donizetti's opera. After the opening which uses motives from the Overture, the main melody of the famous Sextet is presented. The tenor aria from the last act is presented with several vrariations. Finally, motifs form the fmaous mad scene end the work in a brilliant valse. One of the most enigmatic figures in the history of the Saxophone, Ali Ben Sou Alle (Charles-Valentin Soualle) was born in 1820 in Arras, France. Jullien encouraged Soualle to take up the saxophone, and after modifying the instrument by adding a single octave mechanism (the modern system used today) and keys for the lower register, Soualle became known as a virtuoso and began touring performing solo recitals (or mono-concerts, as they were called at the time) calling his modified saxophone the «turcophone ». He performed in all the European capitals and then traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Manilla, Java, through China and then to India where he finally settled in Mysore, becoming the director of the Royal Music for the Maharadjah. It was during this period that heconverted to Islam and changed his nmae to Ali ben Sou Alle (or Ali, son of Soualle). OnMarch 27 1865, he performed a command performance for the Emperor Napoleon III at the Tuileries Palace in the presence of the entire Imperial Family. After 1865, nothing more is known about him.

Large Ensemble Cello,Double Bass,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889436 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Luis Anjos Teixeira. Baroque,Concert,Contemporary,Easter,Standards. Score and parts. 11 pages. Luis Anjos Teixeira #4737807. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889436). The cantata „Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit, BWV 106- „God`s Time Is The Very Best Time, ranks among Bach's most important works. It is a work of genius such as even great masters seldom achieve. The Actus tragicus belongs to the great musical literature of the world. Although Bach's manuscript is lost, the work is agreed to be one of the earliest Bach cantatas, probably composed during the year he spent in Mühlhausen 1707/1708 as organist of theDivi Blasil church, at the age of 22. Various funerals known to have taken place at this time have been proposed as the occasion for the composition, for example that of his uncle Tobias Lämmerhirt from his mother's family, who died inErfurt on 10 August 1707, and that of Adolph Strecker, a former mayor of Mühlhausen, whose funeral was 16 September 1708. The earliest surviving manuscript, in the hand of Christian Friedrich Penzel, was copied in 1768 after Bach's death. It introduced the title Actus tragicus. The cantata was published in 1876 as part of the first complete edition of Bach's works: the Bach-Gesellschaft-Ausgabe, edited by Wilhelm Rust. The text consists of different Bible passages from the Old and New Testament, as well as individual verses of hymns by Martin Lither and Adam Reusner, which all together refer to finiteness, preparation for death and dying. The Arrangement is relatively easy to perform, also appropriate for beginners. It is an ideal piece for advanced performers, this music touches deep into the Soul. The piece was arranged for modern instruments, I introduced some embellishments and interpretation symbols thus shortening the length of some notes, but no notes where otherwise changed or omitted in this arrangement. Also the original placement of the voices is totally respected, the structure of the piece was simply left as it was composed in its original form. Bach scored the instrumental parts for a small ensemble of Baroque instruments two recorders, two violas da gamba and continuo. I propose an interpretation for a modern string orquestra or a string quintet in this arrangement. You should feel Free to apply in this piece the Art and technic that expresses entirely your individual skills, Your taste and Soul. If the orquestra only has one double bass I would recommend you to reenforce the bass with a cello. It can be very well performed by a „string quintet- a string quartet with a double bass. Have fun! It is a piece that can be used in many different kinds of situations, in a serious concert hall, or a funeral, in Easter or even Christmas celebrations and all other kinds of Spiritual events. When performed Live It will give you back a great feedback from the public, you will always want to have it in your repertoire. The score was written on Finale. The sound file was produced with samplers from Garritan and conceived merely as an audio support for the presentation of this score. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this text and to listen to the file. I hope you have a lot of fun and enjoy the music. Sheers! Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.533493). Souvenirs d’Île Maurice begins with a lyrical pastorale in 12/8 time which features chromatic harmonies in the piano. In the fall of 1968, Bacharach and David were in Boston for previews of Promises, Promises, the new musical for which producer David Merrick had asked if they would write the score, and Merrick realized, We're missing a song in the middle of the second act, and what we need is something the audience can whistle on their way out of the theater. But around this time, Bacharach was hospitalized with pneumonia and wasn't able to sit at a piano to write the music until after he was released. By that time Hal had already come up with the lyrics to 'I'll Never Fall in Love Again,' and my hospital stay had inspired him to write, 'What do you get when you kiss a girl? You get enough germs to catch pneumonia. After you do, she'll never phone you.' When he finally sat with the lyrics in front of him, he recalls, I wrote the melody for 'I'll Never Fall in Love Again' faster than I had ever written any song in my life..

Jullien encouraged Soualle to take up the saxophone, and after modifying the instrument by adding a single octavemechanism (the modern system used today) and keys for the lower register, Soualle became known as a virtuoso and begantouring performing solo recitals (or mono-concerts, as they were called at the time) calling his modified saxophone the«turcophone ». He performed in all the European capitals and then traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Manilla, Java, throughChina and then to India where he finally settled in Mysore, becoming the director of the Royal Music for the Maharadjah. It wasduring this period that he converted to Islam and changed his nmae to Ali ben Sou Alle (or Ali, son of Soualle). Hesubsequently travaled to Ile Maurice, to French Polynesia, the Cap of Natal and the Cap of Good Hope. All of these voyageswere subjects of musical works which Soualle entitled Souvenirs de... and may perhaps have been part of a collection knownas The Royal Album which was presented to the Prince of Wales after a royal concert. Soualle returned to Mysore in 1858 and was almost killed in the Indian Revolution.Around 1860, Soualle returned to France for health reasons and began publishing his own music. On March 27 1865, heperformed a command performance for the Emperor Napoleon III at the Tuileries Palace in the presence of the entire ImperialFamily. After 1865, nothing more is known about him.

Piano,Soprano Saxophone - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.533492 Composed by Ali Ben Sou Alle. Concert,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and part. 16 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #3000185. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.533492). Souvenirs d’Angleterre is composed of an opening aria with a number of cadenzas followed by a Valse brillante with variations. Stylistically, the work seems to be more influenced by German Classical music (note especially the classical piano figurations in the opening aria, reminiscent of such composers as Beethoven and Weber). The Valse has an expressive variation in a minor key and the entire work ends, elegantly, pianissimo. One of the most enigmatic figures in the history of the Saxophone, Ali Ben Sou Alle (Charles-Valentin Soualle) was born in1820 in Arras, France. After receiving his first prize in Clarinet at the Paris Conservatory in 1844. he served as the director ofmusic of The French Marine Band in Senegal, and then was named first clarinet solo at the Opéra-Comique in Paris. The pastorale-like theme is also presented in a more varied form. One of the most enigmatic figures in the history of the Saxophone, Ali Ben Sou Alle (Charles-Valentin Soualle) was born in 1820 in Arras, France. Percussion Ensemble Sleigh Bells - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1113251 Composed by Brian Monroe. Contemporary,Contest,Festival,Holiday. Score and parts. 17 pages. BLM Music Publications (https://brianmonroemusic.com) #715195. Published by BLM Music Publications (https://brianmonroemusic.com) (A0.1113251). Riding a toboggan down a hill on a cold, winter afternoon is always fun, but at night make for a terrifically terrifying time. It's cold, and dark and you never know what's around the next banking turn. Excitement and Terror combine to create an adventure you will always remember. The Terrifically Terrifying Toboggan Trek is my second piece for very easy percussion ensemble with the beginning percussionists in mind. The piece has been scored by utilizing patterns which are relatively easy to learn. Layering and varying the patterns makes a fun and interesting piece to learn and perform. In addition, the use of the Alphanotes allows the new percussionist to review reading notes as they learn a piece which is most likely more difficult than they would normally perform. This will allow the students to focus on time keeping and listening. All the pattern as found on the back of each part. I also recommend the director play the sleighbells part as a way to be a part of the ensemble and so he/she can set a steady beat for everyone to follow Instrumentation: Part 1: Bells Part 2: Bells Part 3: Bells Part 4: Bells or Vibraphone Using a vibraphone will give you more of a bass note sound..

Piano and orchestra - difficult - Digital Download For piano and orchestra. Composed by Gyorgy Ligeti (1923-2006). This edition: solo part. Downloadable. Duration 24 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q53630. Published by Schott Music - Digital
I composed the Piano Concerto in two stages: the first three movements during the years 1985-86, the next two in 1987, the final autograph of the last movement was ready by January, 1988. The concerto is dedicated to the American conductor Mario di Bonaventura. .
The markings of the movements are the following: .
1. Vivace molto ritmico e preciso .
2. Lento e deserto .
3. Vivace cantabile .
4. Allegro risoluto .
5. Presto luminoso.
The first performance of the three-movement Concerto was on October 23rd, 1986 in Graz. Mario di Bonaventura conducted while his brother, Anthony di Bonaventura, was the soloist. Two days later the performance was repeated in the Vienna Konzerthaus. After hearing the work twice, I came to the conclusion that the third movement is not an adequate finale. my feeling of form demanded continuation, a supplement. That led to the composing of the next two movements. The premiere of the whole cycle took place on February 29th, 1988, in the Vienna Konzerthaus with the same conductor and the same pianist. .
The orchestra consisted of the following: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, tenor trombone, percussion and strings. The flautist also plays the piccoIo, the clarinetist, the alto ocarina. The percussion is made up of diverse instruments, which one musician-virtuoso can play. It is more practical, however, if two or three musicians share the instruments. Besides traditional instruments the percussion part calls also for two simple wind instruments: the swanee whistle and the harmonica. The string instrument parts (two violins, viola, cello and doubles bass) can be performed soloistic since they do not contain divisi. For balance, however, the ensemble playing is recommended, for example 6-8 first violins, 6-8 second, 4-6 violas, 4-6 cellos, 3-4 double basses. .
In the Piano Concerto I realized new concepts of harmony and rhythm. .
The first movement is entirely written in bimetry: simultaneously 12/8 and 4/4 (8/8). This relates to the known triplet on a doule relation and in itself is nothing new. Because, however, I articulate 12 triola and 8 duola pulses, an entangled, up till now unheard kind of polymetry is created. The rhythm is additionally complicated because of asymmetric groupings inside two speed layers, which means accents are asymmetrically distributed. These groups, as in the talea technique, have a fixed, continuously repeating rhythmic structures of varying lengths in speed layers of 12/8 and 4/4. This means that the repeating pattern in the 12/8 level and the pattern in the 4/4 level do not coincide and continuously give a kaleidoscope of renewing combinations. .
In our perception we quickly resign from following particular rhythmical successions and that what is going on in time appears for us as something static, resting. This music, if it is played properly, in the right tempo and with the right accents inside particular layers, after a certain time rises, as it were, as a plane after taking off: the rhythmic action, too complex to be able to follow in detail, begins flying. This diffusion of individual structures into a different global structure is one of my basic compositional concepts: from the end of the fifties, from the orchestral works Apparitions and Atmospheres I continuously have been looking for new ways of resolving this basic question. The harmony of the first movement is based on mixtures, hence on the parallel leading of voices. This technique is used here in a rather simple form. later in the fourth movement it will be considerably developed. .
The second movement (the only slow one amongst five movements) also has a talea type of structure, it is however much simpler rhythmically, because it contains only one speed layer. The melody is consisted in the development of a rigorous interval mode in which two minor seconds and one major second alternate therefore nine notes inside an octave. This mode is transposed into different degrees and it also determines the harmony of the movement. however, in closing episode in the piano part there is a combination of diatonics (white keys) and pentatonics (black keys) led in brilliant, sparkling quasimixtures, while the orchestra continues to play in the nine tone mode. .
In this movement I used isolated sounds and extreme registers (piccolo in a very low register, bassoon in a very high register, canons played by the swanee whistle, the alto ocarina and brass with a harmon-mute' damper, cutting sound combinations of the piccolo, clarinet and oboe in an extremely high register, also alternating of a whistle-siren and xylophone). The third movement also has one speed layer and because of this it appears as simpler than the first, but actually the rhythm is very complicated in a different way here. Above the uninterrupted, fast and regular basic pulse, thanks to the asymmetric distribution of accents, different types of hemiolas and inherent melodical patterns appear (the term was coined by Gerhard Kubik in relation to central African music). If this movement is played with the adequate speed and with very clear accentuation, illusory rhythmic-melodical figures appear. These figures are not played directly. they do not appear in the score, but exist only in our perception as a result of co-operation of different voices. .
Already earlier I had experimented with illusory rhythmics, namely in Poeme symphonique for 100 metronomes (1962), in Continuum for harpsichord (1968), in Monument for two pianos (1976), and especially in the first and sixth piano etude Desordre and Automne a Varsovie (1985). .
The third movement of the Piano Concerto is up to now the clearest example of illusory rhythmics and illusory melody. In intervallic and chordal structure this movement is based on alternation, and also inter-relation of various modal and quasi-equidistant harmony spaces. The tempered twelve-part division of the octave allows for diatonical and other modal interval successions, which are not equidistant, but are based on the alternation of major and minor seconds in different groups. The tempered system also allows for the use of the anhemitonic pentatonic scale (the black keys of the piano). From equidistant scales, therefore interval formations which are based on the division of an octave in equal distances, the twelve-tone tempered system allows only chromatics (only minor seconds) and the six-tone scale (the whole-tone: only major seconds). .
Moreover, the division of the octave into four parts only minor thirds) and three parts (three major thirds) is possible. In several music cultures different equidistant divisions of an octave are accepted, for example, in the Javanese slendro into five parts, in Melanesia into seven parts, popular also in southeastern Asia, and apart from this, in southern Africa. This does not mean an exact equidistance: there is a certain tolerance for the inaccurateness of the interval tuning. .
These exotic for us, Europeans, harmony and melody have attracted me for several years. However I did not want to re-tune the piano (microtone deviations appear in the concerto only in a few places in the horn and trombone parts led in natural tones). After the period of experimenting, I got to pseudo- or quasiequidistant intervals, which is neither whole-tone nor chromatic: in the twelve-tone system, two whole-tone scales are possible, shifted a minor second apart from each other. Therefore, I connect these two scales (or sound resources), and for example, places occur where the melodies and figurations in the piano part are created from both whole tone scales. in one band one six-tone sound resource is utilized, and in the other hand, the complementary. In this way whole-tonality and chromaticism mutually reduce themselves: a type of deformed equidistancism is formed, strangely brilliant and at the same time slanting. illusory harmony, indeed being created inside the tempered twelve-tone system, but in sound quality not belonging to it anymore. .
The appearance of such slantedequidistant harmony fields alternating with modal fields and based on chords built on fifths (mainly in the piano part), complemented with mixtures built on fifths in the orchestra, gives this movement an individual, soft-metallic colour (a metallic sound resulting from harmonics). .
The fourth movement was meant to be the central movement of the Concerto. Its melodc-rhythmic elements (embryos or fragments of motives) in themselves are simple. The movement also begins simply, with a succession of overlapping of these elements in the mixture type structures. Also here a kaleidoscope is created, due to a limited number of these elements - of these pebbles in the kaleidoscope - which continuously return in augmentations and diminutions. .
Step by step, however, so that in the beginning we cannot hear it, a compiled rhythmic organization of the talea type gradually comes into daylight, based on the simultaneity of two mutually shifted to each other speed layers (also triplet and duoles, however, with different asymmetric structures than in the first movement). While longer rests are gradually filled in with motive fragments, we slowly come to the conclusion that we have found ourselves inside a rhythmic-melodical whirl: without change in tempo, only through increasing the density of the musical events, a rotation is created in the stream of successive and compiled, augmented and diminished motive fragments, and increasing the density suggests acceleration. .
Thanks to the periodical structure of the composition, always new but however of the same (all the motivic cells are similar to earlier ones but none of them are exactly repeated. the general structure is therefore self-similar), an impression is created of a gigantic, indissoluble network. Also, rhythmic structures at first hidden gradually begin to emerge, two independent speed layers with their various internal accentuations. .
This great, self-similar whirl in a very indirect way relates to musical associations, which came to my mind while watching the graphic projection of the mathematical sets of Julia and of Mandelbrot made with the help of a computer. I saw these wonderful pictures of fractal creations, made by scientists from Brema, Peitgen and Richter, for the first time in 1984. From that time they have played a great role in my musical concepts. This does not mean, however, that composing the fourth movement I used mathematical methods or iterative calculus. indeed, I did use constructions which, however, are not based on mathematical thinking, but are rather craftman's constructions (in this respect, my attitude towards mathematics is similar to that of the graphic artist Maurits Escher). .I am concerned rather with intuitional, poetic, synesthetic correspondence, not on the scientific, but on the poetic level of thinking. .
The fifth, very short Presto movement is harmonically very simple, but all the more complicated in its rhythmic structure: it is based on the further development of ''inherent patterns of the third movement. The quasi-equidistance system dominates harmonically and melodically in this movement, as in the third, alternating with harmonic fields, which are based on the division of the chromatic whole into diatonics and anhemitonic pentatonics. Polyrhythms and harmonic mixtures reach their greatest density, and at the same time this movement is strikingly light, enlightened with very bright colours: at first it seems chaotic, but after listening to it for a few times it is easy to grasp its content: many autonomous but self-similar figures which crossing themselves. .
I present my artistic credo in the Piano Concerto: I demonstrate my independence from criteria of the traditional avantgarde, as well as the fashionable postmodernism. Musical illusions which I consider to be also so important are not a goal in itself for me, but a foundation for my aesthetical attitude. I prefer musical forms which have a more object-like than processual character. Music as frozen time, as an object in imaginary space evoked by music in our imagination, as a creation which really develops in time, but in imagination it exists simultaneously in all its moments. The spell of time, the enduring its passing by, closing it in a moment of the present is my main intention as a composer. .
