Lyrics recorded on Angels.Larry Schacher is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, arranger and composer. Larry is fluent on piano, sax, clarinet, flute, guitar and bass. While in college, Larry also learned the violin, viola, trumpet, trombone, and bassoon.Larry taught public school music, and gifted classes in music for high schoolers at Eastern Oregon University, and Montana State; Larry also taught adult classical and folk guitar classes at Mt. Hood Community College. Larry also developed a rock and roll boot camp for middle schoolers that ran for several years during spring breaks at the Overlake School in Redmond, Wa. Larry was commissioned to to write the Overlake School anthem. Larry’s students have earned scholarships to the Berkeley School of music; attended the Thornton School of music; New York University and many others. Larry is a recording studio musician and besides the 5 albums he has published on CDbaby, he has appeared on many other albums, produced jingles for commercials that received air play in the Seattle market, and was the pianist for a syndicated gospel TV show. Larry has performed from Hawaii to New York city. The voices on this recording are synths. Larry Schacher is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, arranger and composer. Larry is fluent on piano, sax, clarinet, flute, guitar and bass. While in college, Larry also learned the violin, viola, trumpet, trombone, and bassoon.Larry taught public school music, and gifted classes in music for high schoolers at Eastern Oregon University, and Montana State; Larry also taught adult classical and folk guitar classes at Mt. Hood Community College. Larry also developed a rock and roll boot camp for middle schoolers that ran for several years during spring breaks at the Overlake School in Redmond, Wa. Larry was commissioned to to write the Overlake School anthem. Larry’s students have earned scholarships to the Berkeley School of music; attended the Thornton School of music; New York University and many others. Larry is a recording studio musician and besides the 5 albums he has published on CDbaby, he has appeared on many other albums, produced jingles for commercials that received air play in the Seattle market, and was the pianist for a syndicated gospel TV show. Larry has performed from Hawaii to New York city. I deserve it.Though it was written with larger groups in mind or small orchestras, keeping it in a way quite simple, it can most likely be played with 2 clarinets, a cello, and a trumpet. I can imagine it can work quite nicely with a school orchestra or any small ensemble, even if some might need to make some minor adjustments to how it's played. It's meant to be played in an upbeat and happy fashion, and the trumpet should be sexy and fun. It'll be fun to hear how others interpret it.The PDF includes the full score and all 4 individual parts (Clarinet, Clarinet Section in Bb, Cellos, Trumpet Section in Bb). This is a song composed for a poem of the Chinese classic style called as Xin Yuan Cun (The Spring Comes to a Delightful Garden) - Snow, written by Mao Zedong in February of 1936. But, it was not published until Mao went to Chongqing in 1945 to hold a peace talk with Jiang Jieshi (Chiang Kai-shek). It was said that the poem was sent to Mr. Liu Ya-zi as a gift. Mao and Jiang had been deadly enemies in their whole lives. Mao defeated Jiang the finally in 1949 and founded the People's Republic of China. Translated in English by Johnson K. Gao in 2008 at 71 years of age in DallasTexas, USA. The translator had not been born when the poem was written. Gao had composed a song for that Chinese poem.
