Choral Choir,Choral (TTBB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1287756 By Electric Light Orchestra. By Jeff Lynne. Arranged by Bob Eggers. 20th Century,A Cappella,Contemporary,Pop,Rock. 13 pages. ROBERT J EGGERS #878833. Published by ROBERT J EGGERS (A0.1287756). Jeff Lynne of ELO composed this song to prove to his father that all of his classical music lessons were not a waste as he pursued a career in popular rock music. This arrangement features a tenor soloist, accompanied by 4 part background, plus a duet and later a trio of tenors on the final chorus. To extend the song, a key change lifts the final chorus to a new level. Duration is 3:45.The arrangement is suitable for school, collegiate and professional choirs of any size, and may be performed for family audiences. String Quintet Cello,Double Bass,Viola,Violin - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1328844 By Kylie Minogue. By Cathy Dennis and Rob Davis. Arranged by Des McNutty. Disco,Pop. 28 pages. Des Press #916865. Published by Des Press (A0.1328844). Can't Get You out of My Head was sung by Kylie Minogue on her 8th album, Fever. It was released in 2001 and charted at number one in 40 countries. Can't Get You out of My Head is an example of a perfect pop song. Classified by some as Neo-Disco, it draws heavily on influences from Trance and Electronic Dance Music (EDM) styles but with its own twists, making the heavily synthesized production sound both fresh and familiar. The melodies and lyrics sound deceptively simple and the hook is just la la la. All of this is again matched perfectly with the performer; Minogue's veneer of naïve vacuity that belies the consummate behind. In addition to all this, the entire main vocal part fits in the five-note starting position for piano students - c, d, e, f, g - making this song an absolute gift for music teachers. Well, 20-odd years ago at least. This arrangement for String Quintet is a relatively straight-forward idiomatic transcription in the same tonality as the original recording, so you could even play along with it for fun. The optional beginners' parts use only open strings. There are no bar numbers. Rehearsal marks are there for navigation. Level: Easy/Intermediate plus beginners. Enjoy!

String Quintet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.901334 Composed by Johann Pachelbel. Arranged by Dan Edwards. Baroque,Holiday,Standards,Wedding. 17 pages. Arr. Dan Edwards #6590467. Published by arr. Dan Edwards (A0.901334). Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel, arranged for string quartet, string quintet, or string orchestra by Dan Edwards. Dan is a prize-winning composer and arranger, and was the staff arranger for the Countess of Wessex's String Orchestra for many years. danedwardscreative.com This is an arrangement like no other!Pachelbel's Canon is a hugely popular piece, but unfortunately it was not written for the string quartet. The original is for three violins and basso continuo, so this presents quite a few problems when string quartets attempt to play it. - Firstly, the 'viola' part is extraordinarily high, not only making it very difficult to play, but making that one voice stick out much more than the other three in the highest parts of the piece. Usually the high bits are just transposed down an octave but this isn't very satisfying. My solution in this arrangement is to swap the voices of the canon around so that the viola always plays the lowest part. Have a look at the score to see what I mean - the viola part isn't transposed, but it never goes above an E on the A string. - Secondly, the first two bars should have harmony, as there should be a keyboard instrument accompanying the cello. To compensate for this I've added some simple harmony in small note heads at the start, before each canon entry. - Thirdly, the cellist always gets lost in this piece. I know because I am a cellist and I always get stressed out towards the end of this piece. So I've added a reduced-size violin 1 part to the cello part so the cellist can follow along and know exactly when the piece is going to end! Includes a full score (6 pages), and complete set of parts. Violin 1 - 3 pages. Violin 2 - 3 pages. Viola - 2 pages. Cello/ bass - 3 pages.

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1320099 By Jon Pardi. By Brandon Kinney and Josh Thompson. Arranged by Kyle Pudenz. 21st Century,Contemporary,Country,Pop,Wedding. Chords/Lyrics. 6 pages. ViolinVagabond Music #908657. Published by ViolinVagabond Music (A0.1320099). Just here doing my part to help my fellow musician by providing lead sheets and instrumental adaptations of those slightly obscure tunes by famous artists that your next wedding or cocktail hour client just CAN'T live without hearing. Bear in mind that I am, in fact, a professional arranger so I can promise you that if nothing else this arrangement comes with the following guarantees. This chart is 3 things:- ACCURATE (nobody got time for incorrect transcriptions)- UNIVERSAL (you'll get lead sheets with AND without guitar chords and lyrics, in order to best fit your ensemble's needs)- SIGHT READABLEOh, and most importantly, it's cheap. So for the low low price of 5 bucks, save yourself a couple hours of headache transcribing this tune yourself and proceed to your gig with confidence. Consider this my small act of paying it forward to the next poor sap who unexpectedly finds this tune on a set list.Vocal version (with guitar chords) and instrumental version (treble clef) included. And yes, I tabbed out the fiddle leads for you :).

Piano Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.928405 Composed by Noah Fire. Contemporary. Score. 5 pages. Noah Fire #6115683. Published by Noah Fire (A0.928405). In Search of Lost Time This is really not a good time for this virus to show up. Not when I'm 68 years old. Couldn’t it have arrived ten years ago before I became elderly? I can make myself ten years younger. (Maybe twelve or fifteen. Why stop at ten?) My mother did that during the war. After she said we were safe they couldn't get to us because of the ocean. Now six feet apart no ocean protects us. Too bad we didn't learn to breathe under water. I watch television wonder why people are standing so close to each other. I walk in zigzags. My ponytail pulls at the strings of the mask suffocating me. At night I check the doors. But who will sneak in now? The virus is the only one out and about. How old will my grandchildren be when I hold them again? Will the youngest be surprised to see we have bodies attached to our heads that we don’t live on a.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.851104 By Nine Inch Nails. By Trent Reznor. Arranged by Whimsically Macabre (ASCAP). Contemporary. Score. 4 pages. Stacy Fahrion #4633863. Published by Stacy Fahrion (A0.851104). This solo piano arrangement was inspired by the version on Black Mirror. It's arranged by Stacy Fahrion/Whimsically Macabre Music (ASCAP).I get really excited when music can carry multiple contradictory meanings, and spend a lot of time thinking about how I can mess with my audience by making things sound familiar but wrong. When I saw the Rachel, Jack, and Ashley Too episode of Black Mirror, I recognized the melody of the oddly upbeat pop song Ashley O was singing but couldn't quite place it because unconsciously I knew something was really off, and then slowly it dawned on me that it was a NIN cover, and I flipped out with utter joy that someone had just done something to me that I'm constantly trying to do to them. Every time the song played throughout the episode, I couldn't stop laughing, not just at the lyrics, but especially at a certain trite & upbeat sounding bassline and all of the different musical elements that completely changed the feel of the original. So of course I needed to write my own arrangement of that arrangement. I hope you enjoy it. Small Ensemble,Strings Bass Guitar,Cello,Drum Set,Viola,Violin - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.845978 By OneRepublic. By Brent Kutzle, John Nathaniel, and Ryan Tedder. Arranged by Kyle Pudenz. Contemporary,Pop,Rock. Score and parts. 56 pages. ViolinVagabond Music #5739325. Published by ViolinVagabond Music (A0.845978). Whether you are a tried and true OneRepublic fan looking to add to your ensemble's catalog, a struggling musician hoping for Better Days, or simply want to create a little social media buzz by playing that song that you saw in a commercial about a Jeep, or ESPN, or NBC... THIS is the chart you are looking for!Check out Dallas String Quartet performing this arrangement in their latest music video: https://youtu.be/BBEdsXRELywWhat you have here, ladies & gentlemen, is no half-baked attempt at a transcription that you might find illegally floating around the internet for a few bucks. This meticulously-arranged instrumental reimagining of OneRepublic's new smash is much, MUCH more. Your journey through the pop-string realm starts out with a silky, cinematic intro that will filter out the commotion of your futile existence, opening the curtains to reveal a plane of pure musical ecstasy. When the groove finally drops, and OH, does it DROP... you will not be able to stop yourself from foot-tapping, head-banging, or otherwise moving one or more body parts in a definitively rhythmic fashion. Hip rhythmic chopping grooves, fingerboard slaps, and a healthy dose of syncopation will take this sick beat to another level! And if that isn't enough to pique your interest, be on the lookout for some sexy reharminizations throughout the tune that will make you honestly wonder why those chords weren't in the song to begin with...Just when you thought this couldn't get any better: THERE IS A SOLO SECTION!! I've included some written solos, but if you prefer to improvise your own, that is allowed and encouraged. You can also vamp it if you need to kill a little time, or just want to show off for a few more bars. This version of the score includes optional RHYTHM SECTION PARTS for guitar, bass, & drum set in addition to the standard string quartet. To be clear, you do not have to perform this chart with bass and drums. I have gone to great pains to ensure that, with proper preparation, a string quartet performance will sound every bit as groovy as a full 7-piece band. So if you try to play this without a drummer and it doesn't go well, I don't want to hear about it. Go practice.Having a great ensemble may be the first step to successfully landing the big gigs, but having repertoire that gives your musicians the chance to shine will make you stand out from the rest. So don't settle for reading off of a piano score or hacking through questionably-obtained transcriptions when you can have the real deal. Fresh tunes, arranged by a real string player who has been in your shoes and knows how to wow the crowd! Thanks for visiting, and I hope this chart brings us all to some Better DaysPerformance time - 4:00 as written, longer if you vamp the solo, shorter if you cut the intro. Because I get it; we all need flexibility when wedding parties and/or emcee's are involved.Questions? Feel free to contact me via my website, www.kylepudenz.com/ or on the 'Insta @theviolinvagabond

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.510526 By Ariana Grande. By Ariana Grande, Charles Anderson, Kimberly Krysiuk, Michael Foster, Tayla Parx, Taylor Parks, Tommy Brown, and Victoria McCants. Arranged by Mario Stallbaumer. Pop. Score. 5 pages. Mario Stallbaumer #4301505. Published by Mario Stallbaumer (A0.510526). Here’s how to play “thank u, next†by Ariana Grande on piano! With this piano sheet music, you can play “thank u, next†on piano - you can use it as an instrumental arrangement, but also accompany singers, or sing along yourself. This “thank u, next†piano version is transposed one half step from the original key of Bb minor to A minor, so it’s much easier to play. These piano sheets come with all parts of the song, full lyrics included. It’s not too hard to play and sounds fantastic! However, there’s a more challenging arrangement of the song in the original key available, you can get it here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/21155619Ariana Grande certainly knows what it's like if one's personal life is making headlines. In November 2018, she released thank u, next, a surprisingly positive song about her past relationships and breakups (including Mac Miller, Pete Davidson and Big Sean), in which she comes to the conclusion that she learned from all of them!“thank u, next†serves as the lead single from Ariana Grande’s fifth studio album. Here are the song’s full lyrics:“Thought I'd end up with SeanBut he wasn't a matchWrote some songs about RickyNow I listen and laughEven almost got marriedAnd for Pete, I'm so thankfulWish I could say, Thank you to Malcolm'Cause he was an angelOne taught me loveOne taught me patienceAnd one taught me painNow, I'm so amazingI've loved and I've lostBut that's not what I seeSo, look what I gotLook what you taught meAnd for that, I sayThank you, next (next)Thank you, next (next)Thank you, nextI'm so fuckin' grateful for my exThank you, next (next)Thank you, next (next)Thank you, next (next)I'm so fuckin'Spend more time with my friendsI ain't worried 'bout nothin'Plus, I met someone elseWe havin' better discussionsI know they say I move on too fastBut this one gon' last'Cause her name is AriAnd I'm so good with that (so good with that)She taught me love (love)She taught me patience (patience)How she handles pain (pain)That shit's amazing (yeah, she's amazing)I've loved and I've lost (yeah, yeah)But that's not what I see (yeah, yeah)'Cause look what I've found (yeah, yeah)Ain't no need for searching, and for that, I sayThank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, next (thank you)I'm so fuckin' grateful for my exThank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, next (said thank you, next)Thank you, next (next)I'm so fuckin' grateful for my exThank you, nextThank you, nextThank you, nextI'm so fuckingOne day I'll walk down the aisleHolding hands with my mamaI'll be thanking my dad'Cause she grew from the dramaOnly wanna do it once, real badGon' make that shit lastGod forbid something happensLeast this song is a smash (song is a smash)I've got so much love (love)Got so much patience (patience)I've learned from the pain (pain)I turned out amazing (turned out amazing)I've loved and I've lost (yeah, yeah)But that's not what I see (yeah, yeah)'Cause look what I've found (yeah, yeah)Ain't no need for searchingAnd for that, I'll sayThank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, nextI'm so fuckin' grateful for my exThank you, next (thank you, next)Thank you, next (said thank you, next)Thank you, next (next)I'm.

You can also vamp it if you need to kill a little time, or just want to show off for a few more bars.**This score is also available with Rhythm Section Parts for guitar, bass & drum set, which your ensemble can use to perform with a full band. Visit https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/21765313?aff_id=655189 for more details**Having a great ensemble may be the first step to successfully landing the big gigs, but having repertoire that gives your musicians the chance to shine will make you stand out from the rest.

Choral Choir,Choral (SATB divisi) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1308788 Composed by Charles Tenet. Arranged by Tobi Crawford. Jazz. 11 pages. Tobi Crawford #898034. Published by Tobi Crawford (A0.1308788). *Purchase 10 copies to perform this piece with your ensemble of any size*Purchase the instrumental pack (bass and drum part) here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/en/product/beyond-the-sea-instrumental-pack-only-22605052.htmlThis arrangement came to me over a number of weeks in a very organic way that began with the ostinato piano figure that prevails throughout the piece. I began playing it unattached to any tune and I just liked the way the line descended in the left hand and how I had to find voicings in the right hand that made harmonic sense – like a puzzle. As I was playing around with this puzzle, thoughts of my father were swirling around in my head – I was at the end of a 4 year period of separation from my parents owing to the fact that I’m a Canadian expat living in the US and the borders were closed for a long time because of Covid, and then I had work visa issues and my parents were getting older before my eyes. They were also losing friends to cancer and other ailments and my dad, in particular, had experienced the loss of many close family members and friends during our separation and it was taking a toll. One day I sat down and played the now familiar-to-me ostinato but randomly I started to sing “Beyond the Sea†over it and it fit perfectly. I thought it a happy coincidence. As the days went on I committed to putting my ostinato with Beyond the Sea and the lyrics started to seep into my brain. I have, of course, heard these lyrics many times before, (who hasn’t seen Finding Nemo?) but the lyrics didn’t mean what I thought they meant… They’re NOT about the ocean, they are about my dad!!! Well, kind of… I realized, through careful reflection and by slowing the words down, that the lyrics are talking about a person in heaven who is patiently waiting for their partner to join them. Somewhere beyond the seaShe’s there watching for me…It’s far beyond the starsIt’s near beyond the moon And the lyrics end with them meeting, “We’ll meet beyond the shore, we’ll kiss just like before,†and the song ends with: “and never again I’ll go sailing.†It’s like the big bang went off in my head about why all these thoughts of my dad, and his friends, and this arrangement, and what it all meant suddenly just MADE SENSE and I was able to start formulating a plan. Performance Suggestions: The improvisation solo in the middle should be free of any traditional “scat syllables†and should be more of a lament. Listen to singers like Aubrey Johnson improvise on ballads for inspiration. An idea for that improv section might be to have a male singer start the improv, then a female singer joins (as if together in heaven) then they sing letter F together (warning: will cause tears…). All solo sections do not have to be sung as written – soloists can take liberties with the melody as the spirit moves.

Choral Choir,Choral - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1182872 By Stuart Richard Brown. By Stuart Richard Brown. Arranged by Stuart Richard Brown. Christian,Easter,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. 1 pages. Stuart Brown Music #782621. Published by Stuart Brown Music (A0.1182872). The accompanying score and a choral bundle are also available from this website. The composer writes: 'On That Cross' is a powerful reflection on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. I came up with the lyrics at around 3am in the morning of 3rd December 2014 sitting at a desk in room 703 of the De Syloia Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam. Often I find that my periods of working abroad give me the space to think of things in new ways. This song is a good example of that. One look at the first page of the score of 'On That Cross' is all you need to realize that this is not a case of a choir singing with a piano accompaniment. I put the piano part above the choir in order to dispel that misconception. So if it's not that, what is it? I wanted to demonstrate that it is possible to approach a subject from two completely different points of view, without either point of view being compromised by the other, and yet the result can nevertheless be a beautiful synergy. That is what the pianist and the choir are doing here. Each is meditating upon the cross of Christ, but from two totally unrelated points of view and yet somehow combining in a way that is almost hypnotically beautifully. There is little obvious relationship between the choir's and the piano's music; and yet each is reconciled to the other ... and there's a very good reason why I wanted the music to speak of such reconciliation. In late 2014 people in Iraq were being beheaded, crucified and generally killed in the most brutal and sadistic manner possible. Their only ‘crime’ was to dare to call themselves Christians. You can say what you like but in my book nobody has the right to tell anybody else what they should believe, much less murder them on religious grounds. The thing that incensed me almost to the point of incandescence was that the perpetrators of this unspeakable evil dared to justify their actions by claiming that they were acting on behalf of their god. So in such frame of mind I started to write the lyrics to 'On That Cross'.The first words that came into my mind were “Oh men who dare to call on gods to justify your hatred – of this be sure …†and I wanted to follow that with threats of eternal damnation, torture in hellfire and so on. Except that the words that flowed out of my fingers onto my computer screen were not like that at all. “Of this be sure – I love you still, my cross your salvation from all the sin of man.â€It doesn’t get much more powerful than that. I may be incapable of loving the people of ISIS, ISIL, DAESH or whatever one calls them, but my God isn’t. He created them, he sent his Son to die for them … and he is even now ready to save them, as he is you and me. That’s grace.A small group of us sang this at a Good Friday united service in 2016. We sang it unannounced, at the end of the service, when one would have expected people to start getting up from their seats and leaving the church. Nobody did. Not one single person moved while we sang..

Timothy Stapay #1067707. Published by Timothy Stapay (A0.1490922). Vincent (Starry, Starry Night) is a song by Don McLean, written as a tribute to Vincent van Gogh.McLean wrote the lyrics in 1971 after reading a book about the life of Van Gogh. It was released on McLean's 1971 American Pie album; the following year, the song topped the UK Singles Chart for two weeks, and peaked at No. 12 in the United States, where it also hit No. 2 on the Easy Listening chart. Billboard ranked it as the No. 94 song for 1972.Lyrics:StarryStarry nightPaint your palette blue and greyLook out on a summer's dayWith eyes that know theDarkness in my soul.Shadows on the hillsSketch the trees and the daffodilsCatch the breeze and the winter chillsIn colors on the snowy linen land. And now I understand what you tried to say to meHow you suffered for your sanityHow you tried to set them free. They would not listenThey did not know howPerhaps they'll listen now.StarryStarry nightFlaming flo'rs that brightly blazeSwirling clouds in violet haze reflect inVincent's eyes of China blue.Colors changing hueMorning fields of amber grainWeathered faces lined in painAre soothed beneath the artist'sLoving hand. And now I understand what you tried to say to meHow you suffered for your sanityHow you tried to set them free.Perhaps they'll listen now.For they could not love youBut still your love was trueAnd when no hope was left in sight on that starryStarry night. You took your lifeAs lovers often do;But I could have told youVincentThis world was neverMeant for oneAs beautiful as you.StarryStarry nightPortraits hung in empty hallsFrameless heads on nameless wallsWith eyesThat watch the world and can't forget.Like the stranger that you've metThe ragged men in ragged clothesThe silver thorn of bloody roseLie crushed and brokenOn the virgin snow. And now I think I know what you tried to say to meHow you suffered for your sanityHow you tried to set them free. They would not listenThey're notList'ning stillPerhaps they never will.
