Instrumental Duet Clarinet,Flute,Instrumental Duet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.764947 Composed by Lori Archer Sutherland. Contemporary,Standards. Score and parts. 6 pages. Lori Archer Sutherland #4350707. Published by Lori Archer Sutherland (A0.764947). Two copies of the performance score are included in the PDF. For flute/clarinet duet Introduce your young flute and clarinet players to the tango with SlitherTango, a duet perfect for your next solo and ensemble contest! Both parts get a chance to explore the melody and students learn to work in a small ensemble setting.Tangos often feature long, smooth, chromatic melody lines over a rhythmic accompaniment in a minor key. The melody and countermelody in SlitherTango wind around in a snakelike fashion. The rhythmic accompaniment is emphasized in the first half of the piece. It allows the melody and countermelody to take the focus in the second half, but it does not quite disappear, reminding us of the tango’s roots.

Rivkele (Rebeka) Tango set for clarinet duet

Clarinet Duet Clarinet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.582149 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by John Gibson. Jewish. 2 scores. 4 pages. JB Linear #5985409. Published by JB Linear (A0.582149). Rivkele (Rebeka) a Tango from Warsaw, Poland in the early 1900's. It is a little surprising that tangos were popular in the European Jewish community around 1920. There had been a large group of Jewish immigrants going to Argentina in the late 1800's, and they in turn brought the Argentine tango back to Europe where it became very popular, especially in Poland. Those musicians made the tango format their own, adding the sound of popular Jewish cabarets and theaters along with Yiddish lyrics. The music came from a book of Yiddish songs, Yiddish Songs from Warsaw compiled by Jane Peppler, who gave permission to use her melodies and harmonies for this setting for clarinet duet.

Instrumental Duet Flute,Harp,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.924844 Composed by Stanley M. Hoffman. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 4 pages. Stanleymhoffman.com #3913599. Published by stanleymhoffman.com (A0.924844). This piece was composed for a call for scores for Vox Novus' 15 Minutes of Fame series. Although duoKYariaI did not choose to perform the piece, a charming miniature remains. The composer chose an Italian title for Tango Semplice, Malinconia, e Trionfante because it sounds better than Simple, Melancholy, and Triumphant Tango. :-) The music conveys these three moods in three ways: motivically, melodically, and harmonically, shifting from A Minor to C Major by way of a minor plagal cadence. A great miniature for recitals or concerts.

Instrumental Duet Clarinet,Instrumental Duet,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.588648 Composed by David McKeown. 20th Century,Concert,Latin,World. Score and parts. 6 pages. David McKeown #5792845. Published by David McKeown (A0.588648). Tango d’Elinora is an exciting original composition by David McKeown, arranged as a duet for one Clarinet and one Violin. This duet is written in the style of early twentieth century Tango music. Tango first appeared as in the late nineteenth century in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but it wasn’t long before the dance craze spread to North America and Europe. Performers like Carlos Gardel were the international superstars of their day. More recently the Nuevo Tango of Astor Piazzolla and others has pushed the boundaries and ensured that Tango is still a vibrant art form today. If you play to an intermediate standard and upwards, then you and your audience will enjoy this piece. Rhythms should be lightly articulated with the first beat in the bar always strong; the melody should always flow and following the articulation in the score will help convey the style. Tango d’Elinora has a performance time of just under three minutes. Instrumental Duet Clarinet,Flute,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.588761 Composed by David McKeown. 20th Century,Concert,Latin,World. Score and parts. 6 pages. David McKeown #5792853. Published by David McKeown (A0.588761). Tango d’Elinora is an exciting original composition by David McKeown, arranged as a duet for one Flute and one Clarinet.
