Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1205194 Composed by M.Y Owusu. Contemporary. Score. 3 pages. M.Y Owusu #803377. Published by M.Y Owusu (A0.1205194). Aphelion is one of my few pieces that's meant to tell a story and it's not incredibly specific, but here is the story of Aphelion. However, the definition of aphelion first is incredibly important.aphelion (noun):the point in the orbit of a planet, asteroid, or comet at which it is furthest from the sun.And it's very important to know the definition of its absolute antonym: perihelion.perihelion (noun):the point in the orbit of a planet, asteroid, or comet at which it is closest to the sun. These are terms used in astronomy to describe a celestial object's extreme distance from the sun. I'm using this to describe a relationship between two people. The type of relationship does not matter, it is simply just a relationship. However, you perceive it: platonic, romantic, etc. That is up to your interpretation.Aphelion follows the story of two people, with the start of the piece not actually being the aphelion, but however the perihelion, starting in D Major. It highlights their relationship as perfect, well-rounded, and flawless relationship. Some may call it a honeymoon era/phase or just the possible closest two people could be, i.e the perihelion. Then the two slowly drift away, with a shift to B Minor and D Minor. Issues, flaws, and problems that weren't there before begin to appear. These issues are quickly shoved under the rug, and the two pretend that they are nonexistent. The piece shifts back to D major incredibly quickly, however, there is a slight sense of uneasiness within the piece that I intended to create as it goes through this relationship that is clearly rocky, but it isn't being addressed because neither are choosing to communicate these issues. Then, the mysterious part hits very quickly, this is the aphelion. following a D Minor chord progression, then a shift into D minor itself. This part is where the relationship issues reach a boiling point, neither can stand the other and any attempt to resolve the issues is essentially useless. They stay in a toxic relationship. However, it's labeled as mysterious because the future is an absolute mystery to the two. They don't know what will happen. Then, one confronts the other, they choose to genuinely communicate. It's where the shift back to D Major occurs. They finally come to an understanding. At this point, they can choose to stay in the relationship, and work on the issues, or come to an understanding that it might not work from here, because a relationship takes two. There is a sense of peace, they are finally at peace with one another and their situation. Life can continue moving on, and the piece ends on an A Major chord. This is because A Major can be interpreted as one finally becoming content. That is the story that I intended to tell by writing Aphelion.

Double Bass,Piano,String Bass - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1161615 Composed by Toby Fox. Arranged by Aidan Thune. Video Game. Score and part. 15 pages. Exartine #761984. Published by Exartine (A0.1161615). Bergentrückung is an arrangement of ASGORE from Toby Fox's most known and popular game UNDERTALE, an RPG with a large amount of his original music, art, and story. ASGORE is both the name of the song, and the character it is associated with. Asgore is the king of the monsters who were sealed within Mt Ebott, and is working towards freeing the monsters and rejoining the humans on the surface. Although the meaning of Bergentrückung is still not fully known, there is some evidence showing it means Mountain King, King in the Mountain, or King of the Mountain, however consulting with some german speakers it was proven that is not the full meaning. Bergen means mountain in German, however in my research, trückung did not hold a meaning or translation. I did however find a page saying there is German Folklore about a king slumbering in a mountain, however there was no citation nor proof. Google translate will tell you it means Excavate, but my reasearch of asking German speaking people proved that to be wrong. To the UNDERTALE community Bergentrückung will always mean King of the Mountain, but there is no current real meaning in my reasearch. This arrangement was made for two reasons. The first reason being I wanted a solo for an upcoming Solo Ensemble, however the second reason is there are very few songs I could find made for a Bass soloist, so I wanted to add a possible Bass Solo for future soloists looking for music. This can also be played as a Cello Solo.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.846529 Composed by Maria Thompson Corley. Concert,Contemporary. Score. 9 pages. Maria Thompson Corley #5803441. Published by Maria Thompson Corley (A0.846529). The title alludes to the classic Joni Mitchell song, however, this is a piece of classical music. The poem refers to the burning of Notre Dame, then the inevitable physical decline inherent in aging, then the unexpected crumbling of our democratic institutions. The original melodic material echoes the fragments taken from the two masters of the Notre Dame school of organum, however, the dissonant, challenging piano accompaniment deconstructs them. The middle section is wistful and less dissonant, followed by a return to the earlier musical material. The piece ends with the quote from Perotin with which it begins, the vowel O, however, at the end it is a moan of regret. Words and music by Maria Thompson Corley, incorporating Leonin's Haec Dies and Perotin's Beata Viscera.

Piano Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.1252474 By Scholler. By Scholler. Arranged by Scholler. Classical,Contemporary,Contest,Festival,Film/TV,Multicultural,World. Score. 5 pages. Scholler #846449. Published by Scholler (A0.1252474). Black Lotus is a captivating and challenging piano solo that combines intricate rhythms with contrasting moods. The piece is characterized by its unconventional time signatures, ranging from 7/16 to 3/8 to 7/8, which continually challenge the pianist's rhythmic precision and adaptability. The composition begins with a constant exploration of rhythmic variations, creating a sense of musical chaos. However, amidst the rhythmic complexity, a serene and delicate melody emerges, offering a contrasting calm and quiet atmosphere. This melodic line serves as a tranquil oasis within the rhythmic storm, providing moments of respite for both the performer and the listener. As the piece progresses, it transitions into the second part, where the atmosphere becomes calm and peaceful. However, the tranquility is periodically interrupted by unexpected and irregular measures, which serve as subtle reminders of the earlier rhythmic challenges. These interruptions add an element of surprise and unpredictability to the overall musical narrative. After the intermittent disruptions, the composition briefly ventures into a peaceful waltz-like section. The lilting and graceful waltz rhythm provides a temporary escape from the previous complexities, offering a soothing and elegant respite. However, this tranquility is transient, as the piece returns to the main theme, rekindling the initial chaos. Finally, Black Lotus concludes with a powerful rendition of the main theme, showcasing the pianist's virtuosity and the culmination of the piece's diverse elements. The final moments bring the composition to a dramatic close, leaving the audience captivated and in awe of the journey they have experienced.Black Lotus is a unique and challenging piano solo that demands technical mastery and a deep understanding of rhythm. It offers an opportunity for pianists to showcase their skill and artistry while navigating through the intricate rhythmic landscape and delivering the contrasting emotions of calmness and chaos.SchollermusicTheodosius Bates

Bassoon,Clarinet,Oboe,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1426546 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Kamada,Mikio. Baroque. 5 pages. ACORDO Sheet Music #1007246. Published by ACORDO Sheet Music (A0.1426546). Johann Sebastian Bach composed the cantata Ich hatte viel Bekümmernis BWV 21 during the Weimar period. Craig Smith of Emmanuel Music suggested that this work was not only written to accompany the readings for the third Sunday after Trinity, but also to bid farewell to the gravely ill Prince Johann Ernst of Sachsen-Weimar, one of Bach's talented students. However, at the time, Prince Johann was seriously ill and was on his way to Swabia for recovery. The first movement, Sinfonia, is a deeply sorrowful piece, characterized by a rich dialogue between the oboe and violin. Julian Mincham of The Cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach described it is a continuous discourse between oboe and first violin, quite possibly suggestive of the dialogue structure (Christ and the Soul) to be found in later movements, however, it sounds like a dialogue between the Prince and Bach for me.The string ensemble part was transcribed for piano to make it easier to play. The solo parts are originally for oboe and violin, but in this arrangement, they are for oboe and clarinet. The bassoon (or cello) part is the same as the piano's left hand and is optional.

Published by ACORDO Sheet Music (A0.1426549). The solo parts are originally for oboe and violin, but in this arrangement, they are for Oboe and Cor Anglais. The bassoon (or cello) part is the same as the piano's left hand and is optional.

Www.studio-orchestrations.com #1010904. Published by www.studio-orchestrations.com (A0.1430275). From the 2006 Ron Howard film adaptation of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, this track is taken from the soundtrack which underscores the final late night walk by Robert Langdon (played by Tom Hanks) through the streets of Paris to (possibly and hopefully) conclude his long and testing quest to seek the Holy Grail. No spoilers however. If you've not seen it, then add it to your playlist! The film's soundtrack evokes great emotion throughout and whatever criticisms there may have been over the years about the book, the story, the film etc.. this is definitely one of Hans Zimmer's finest emotional and thought provoking soundtrack scores, drawing from a huge range of musical influences, from the big symphonic oceanic sounscapes to the intimate vocal solo and choral plainchant that are peppered throughout the score. It is an example of how a soundtrack can really make a massive difference to what some might describe glibly as a popcorn movie.Very much like Time in Inception Zimmer takes a relatively simple harmonic and melodic trope and adds layers of melodic counter melody and rhythmic building to create an awe inspiring and (let's face it BIG!) climax, supporting the narrative of the film and story but also creating music that can be taken away from the cinematic experience and enjoyed for its own sake. This orchestration emulkates as closely as possible the soundtrack. Some licence has been taken with the addition of 2 Trumpets which build the climax with the upper strings. SATB choir is also scored as per the original soundtrack but optional as it is mostly covered by orchestral instruments and is also a very brief appearance but - at least for the sopranos - extremely challenging for anyone apart from a professional specialist choral ensemble. The synth section of the keyboard part in the opening pages can also be optional, adding some background sounds that Zimmer is so renowned for (this may be beyond the budget of some performing groups we appeciate). However the piano cues later in the piece are highly desirable as they add a percussive support to the strings. We commend this score to anyone buidling a program of film music for their orchestral event, particularly if you are wishing to include some more modern concert ideas, and in particular a Hans Zimmer classic.INSTRUMENTATON:2 Flutes2 Oboes2 Clarinets2 Bassoons1 Contra-Bassoon (Optional)4 Horns2 Trumpets3 Trombones1 TubaTimpani2 Percussion[Cymbals/Suspp.Cymbal/Bass Drum/Tubular Bells]KeyboardSATB Choir [Optional]Strings.

I have adapted the Quia Respexit by adding the oboe part of love to the first violin and through the figured bass the voices of the viola, the cello and the second violin, having as a starting point the piano part normally used by sopranos. The soprano part is not included in this score as it is to share the adaptation for string instruments. However, the first violin has a built-in guide to the singer's entrances and exits to help the ensemble. The articulation proposed at the beginning can be modified as this always depends on the character you want to give it: more historical or more personal. The written dynamics are those corresponding to the original score, however, it is an accompaniment music that must continuously follow the musicality of the soprano.

This fanfare, however, is geared mostly toward  Woodwinds. The brass takes background and counter-melody, while woodwinds take melody.  There are, however, several sections where the brass takes the wheel! At the end, a standard brass chorale ends the composition, with woodwinds giving off the final ounce of melodic content. Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1397074 By Sean A. Moore. By Sean A. Moore. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary. Score. 25 pages. Sean A Moore #980408. Published by Sean A Moore (A0.1397074). GILT-EDGE†is a piano sonata in three movements. The sonata features dissonance, clusters, irregular rhythmic patterns and meters, syncopation, and extremes in textures and dynamics. The work is mostly intervallically/motivically based with the entire keyboard being utilized as a sort of sonic canvas as diverse as the world itself. The first movement, “GILT-EDGEâ€, has the same name as the title of the composition. The movement is emotionally intense, beginning loudly with a forearm cluster crash at the low end of the instrument and with a fast tempo. However, the first movement of the sonata ends slowly, quietly and sometimes dreamlike all while expressing a very dark mood. “Hopewellâ€, the second and somewhat more melodic movement, has a more meditative quality. This movement is inspired by the image of a quiet country road and an uncomplicated way of living that sometimes isn’t always what it seems. The final movement, “Antiochâ€, written on three staves, returns the listener back to the emotional complexities of the first movement. However, this movement does not end quietly. In this short explosive last movement, the sonata reaches its dramatic conclusion.

Orchestra - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q21191 Composed by Georges Bizet. This edition: study score. Ernst Eulenburg - Orchester - Partitur. Eulenburg Miniature Scores. Downloadable, study score. Ernst Eulenburg & Co. GmbH - Digital #Q21191. Published by Ernst Eulenburg & Co. GmbH - Digital (S9.Q21191). The première of Daudet's play, L'Arlésienne, with incidental music by Bizet, given at the Théâtre du Vaudeville on 30 September 1872, was a devastating event for both playwright and composer and the production was removed from the repertory after 19 performances. The critic Johannès Weber, however, was alert to the quality of Bizet's score and suggested that the composer should excerpt and rescore several pieces for the Concerts populaires where 'the lovely music would be better appreciated than at the Vaudeville'. Bizet must have moved rather quickly to follow Weber's suggestion, for the première of the first Arlésienne suite took place only six weeks later at the Concerts populaires on 10 November 1872 and the work in its new abridged form was soon taken up by many other orchestras. Bizet, however, did not turn to preparing a second suite from L'Arlésienne. Some four years after Bizet's death, the success of the first suite may have prompted his original publisher to commission the arrangement of more excerpts from the Arlésienne MS from Bizet's good friend Ernest Guiraud who had earlier written recitatives and put together a ballet for Carmen. In 1872 Bizet wrote the incidental music to Daudet’s famous tragedy ‘L’Arlésienne’. He had to tailor his composition to an orchestra of only 26 players, but these limited forces turned out to pose a stimulating challenge rather than an obstacle. Shortly after the premiere, he arranged four of the movements and formed them into the Suite No. 1 for large orchestra. The Suite No. 2 was arranged by Ernest Guiraud four years after Bizet’s death.

Trombone Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.792269 Composed by Clarke, Ernest. Arranged by Cherry, Gordon. 20th Century,Instructional. Individual part. 113 pages. Gordon Cherry #4803727. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.792269). The Clarke Method for Trombone has some uncommon features not found in other method books. 1. First, is the use of the key of C for the initial 33 exercises. The author then progresses through all of the keys, alternating the sharp (first) and flat keys through to six sharps and six flats by the end of exercise 155. 2. Secondly, there are no exercises devoted solely to minor keys. However, Clarke employs the minor mode in all of his exercises through the use of scales and arpeggios, so in fact the performer is receiving a steady diet of minor melody built in for him/her. 3. Thirdly, Clarke uses no metronome markings. He explains; each exercise should be practiced carefully over and over again until every difficulty is thoroughly overcome – until the exercise can be played through correctly – before going on to the next. His purpose is to avoid speeding through them. Clarke’s exercises are progressive throughout the keys, however each one starts out easily in order to keep the student focused on the new key and the new progression notes that come with it. For the advanced performer, this book is great to use as a way to ease back into shape after a rest from the instrument, allowing the performer to relearn the instrument carefully and methodically. I use it also for tone building, phrasing, and breath control. Throughout the book, Clarke reminds the performer to always produce a noble sound, stressing natural playing (without forcing) and relaxation. His phrase, the breath is the life of the tone, is a phrase that Remington used throughout his great teaching career as well. Clarke talks about tonguing, saying that, the tongue is used merely as an aid in articulating – not as a necessity... the tone does not depend on the tongue... the tongue should not be made too important...

Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549899). BARITONE HORN (T.C.) and PIANO. The famous Pachelbel Canon arranged for Baritone Horn & Piano. Great choice for weddings & receptions! Pachelbel's Canon Pachelbel's Canon is, in fact, the traditional title for a composition by the German composer Johann Pachelbel. Other names for the work include namely: Canon and Gigue for 3 violins and basso continuo, Canon and Gigue in D, and of course Canon in D. We do not know when or why in particular it was written. The oldest copy is surprisingly from the 19th century. It is important to realize that it was a common routine for organists to practice improvisation on the chord progression underlying the canon. Pachelbel originally scored the Canon notably for three violins and continuo. He also in fact paired the Canon with a gigue. The movements are homotonal, to clarify, both are in the key of D major. History In due time, Pachelbel's Canon went out of style and remained in virtual oblivion for centuries. The Jean-François Paillard chamber orchestra, however, recorded an arrangement of it in 1968. As a result, it gained approval.  Many ensembles began likewise to record the piece in the 1970s and by the 1980s became ubiquitous as background music. From the 1970s to the early 2000s, pop songs correspondingly used elements of the piece. The chord progression, in particular, was used this way. Also, since the 1980s, it has been not only wildly popular for weddings, but also for funeral ceremonies in the USA and Europe. Pachelbel Background Johann Pachelbel (1653 –1706) was a German composer, as well as an organist. He was furthermore instrumental in bringing the south German organ school to its apex. He wrote a large body of music, both sacred and, equally important, secular. In particular, he uniquely helped develop the chorale prelude and fugue. For this, he has, in fact, earned a rightful place in the company of the most significant composers of the mid-Baroque period. Works Pachelbel's music was certainly popular. With this in mind, he also consequently had many pupils. His music expressly developed into a model for the south German composers. Nowadays, Pachelbel is most famous particularly for the Canon in D, as well as the F minor Chaconne, the Toccata in E minor, and of course the Hexachordum Apollinis, a set of variations for the keyboard. Influences Johann Jakob Froberger and Johann Caspar Kerll were south German composers who significantly influenced Pachelbel. Furthermore, he was especially influenced by Italians such as Frescobaldi and Poglietti. He frequently preferred an articulate, simple contrapuntal style that highlighted clarity. His music is markedly less extravagant and harmonically adventurous than that of Dieterich Buxtehude. However, as a point often overlooked, like Buxtehude, Pachelbel experimented with different instrumental combinations in his chamber music. LegacyAll in all, Pachelbel was most famous as a composer for the keyboard. He composed over two hundred pieces specifically for the instrument. Pachelbel was also surprisingly a prolific composer of vocal music. All in all, about a hundred vocal works survive, including 40 or so large-scale works.

Creative arrangement for percussion trio (xylophone, vibraphone and marimba). The arrangement contains individual parts and the chords of the song. The Musette in D major (Musette in D major, BWV Anh 126) is a small musical composition attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach. However, the authorship of this composition is uncertain, and some scholars suggest that it may not have been actually written by Bach. The piece is a musette, which is a type of French folk dance characterized by its gentle and graceful rhythm. The composition is written in triple meter (3/4) and features a charming and delicate melody typical of dance pieces from the Baroque period. The Musette in D major is often performed on keyboard instruments such as harpsichord or piano. It is one of the best-known pieces attributed to Bach, despite the doubts about its authorship. It is important to note that due to the uncertainties surrounding the origin of this specific composition, some modern editions of Bach's catalog may not include it. However, it is still popular and continues to be enjoyed by lovers of Baroque music.

Published by Sibylle Kuder (A0.1373288). Short, two-page Etude to practice chromatic scale patterns. The counting is easy as the LH provides the beat. The note-reading could be challenging for someone new to chromatic scales. However, there are no sharps or flats in the key signature which instantly eliminates one possible challenge. Technically it is not as difficult as it may seem at first as most of the triplet chromatic scale patterns are less than a measure long, providing frequent chances for the RH to rest or at least breathe. However, like with any passage work, it is important to not press / push into the keys. While the harmony of the first two lines is very traditional, using chord progressions that an (early) intermediate pianist would be familiar with, from the 3rd line on there are frequent modulations and surprise key changes which may pose a challenge for a pianist who has not as much experience with that. Musical / interpretation challenges could be to keep it light, to shape the many short melodic patterns, and to play with a smile.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.926665 Composed by Michael A. Morizio. A Cappella,Christian,Sacred. Octavo. 13 pages. M.A. Morizio #3588435. Published by M.A. Morizio (A0.926665). In the first chapter of Paul’s second letter to Timothy, verses 1-10, we observe the intimate relationship that exists, between a spiritual father and his son… I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day. As I remember your tears, I long to see you, that I may be filled with joy. In Chapter two we also witness Paul’s commissioning Timothy to entrust to faithful men all that he was taught by the Apostle, that they then may be able to teach others in the same way also. While the elder Paul is now in prison and bound in chains, he is nonetheless empowered by the Holy Spirit to encourage and exhort Timothy to share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ, for the sake of the Gospel. Though Paul is bound in chains, he declares to Timothy the word of God is not bound! Endurance for Paul serves only one purpose, the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. In verse 11, Paul supports his statements by inserting another known 1st century Hymn to Christ, which brings us to our fifth anthem, For If We Died with Him. The text-or lyrics-of this hymn are even bracketed (or indented) in the NKJV Bible, suggesting the hymnic setting. The proposition of the text is quite clear; if we died with Christ, then we shall also live eternally with Christ. If we endure in the faith, then we shall also reign eternally with Christ. However, there is an insertion of 'Law' here, with a dire warning that the opposite is also true: If we deny Christ, resist, and refuse His beckoning and free invitation to salvation, then He will also deny us. Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven… I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:31-23). Thus, the stage has been set for the fifth anthem. The piece is composed for SATB a cappella. The key is F Major. The opening phrase, This is a trustworthy saying, is in ¾ time, where a series of triplets are sung three times each (the Trinitarian opening motif). The meter then shifts to 2/4 with a lovely, distinctive unison melody for the opening phrase, For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him. Soon after, when the lyrics shift to the words, If we deny Him, He will also deny us, the song drops into the relative minor key (F minor). The melody in this passage is haunting, and sends a clear warning signal to the listener to pay heed to what is being sung. When the text then transitions from if we are faithless, He remains faithful, however, the key shifts back to F Major in a new (dance-like) rhythm for the final verse, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. A coda is inserted in the final phrase where the triplet pattern is recapitulated (This is a trustworthy saying) and the sopranos ascend to a high F singing the lyrics, we shall live, for He remains faithful! to triumphantly end the piece.

Https://youtu.be/guvb5Jb31rU Written by Lester Lee & Zeke Manners in 1942, and made popular by the Andrew sisters, The Pennsylvania over years has been celebrated as one of the most popular polkas of all times and obviously the most famous State titled polka. A polka is a vivacious couple dance of Bohemian origin in duple time; was a basic pattern of hop-step-close-step; a lively Bohemian dance tune in 2/4 time. The polka was originally a Czech peasant dance, developed in Eastern Bohemia (now part of Czechoslovakia).Growing up in Pennsylvania, nd playing for various local community bands, VFW bands ,Lion's Band , etc we played the Pa Polka for many functions, churches, Seniors, Cake Walks, 4th of July programs, summer and spring concerts, marching bands, parades, and many more events. The Pennsylvania Polka is such a fun, happy song, in a march tempo beat. However, I am so proud of this arrangement as I am of the state I live in. , Another interesting fact is that people not familiar with the song informed me this sounds like a carousel music at an amusement park This arrangement would be great for holidays, church functions, Seniors, July 4th concerts, kid's programs, parades, community concerts, or just any other fun concert. It's a great song for playing and breaking up the typical monotonous flute choir music. A sure flute players favorite as well as your audiences for years to come.Smartly scored for 2 piccolos, 4 c flutes , 2 altos in G , bass flute , and contra bass flute .** however, a 5th c flute made be played for alto flute 1 . Pachelbel: Canon for Alto Flute & Piano

Flute,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.548462 Composed by Johann Pachelbel. Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Wedding. Score and part. 8 pages. Jmsgu3 #3386271. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.548462). Pachelbel's Canon arranged for alto flute & piano. Great for weddings & receptions. Legacy All in all, Pachelbel was most famous as a composer for the keyboard. He composed over two hundred pieces specifically for the instrument. Pachelbel was also surprisingly a prolific composer of vocal music. All in all, about a hundred vocal works survive, including 40 or so large-scale works.Â
