Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.701452 Composed by Kevin G. Pace, Mark R. Fotheringham. Christian,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 2 pages. Kevin G. Pace #3125159. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.701452). An original hymn with text by Mark Fotheringham below.YouTube video: https://youtu.be/BGhqSeLVhqgI may not be the one to brighten your eye, I may not be the one whose heart makes you fly, I may not be the one who shows you His ways, But know I am one who for you prays. I may not be the one who gave everything To bring you back to God, our glorious King, I cannot save your soul or cleanse it or mend, But this I can do, forever be your friend. I may not be the one who knows all the truth. It's true I may have been a faltering youth, But now I know my God, who saved me from sin By sending His Son who let me in. So now I am the one who will testify, And now I am the one who'll reach out to try To bless a friend in need, just as I've been blessed, Until we in heaven find eternal rest.

Choral Choir,Choral,SSAA Chorus - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1475304 Composed by Jocelyn Scofield. 21st Century,A Cappella,Singer/Songwriter. 33 pages. Bilsco Music #1052847. Published by Bilsco Music (A0.1475304). SCORES INCLUDED:Full Score & Parts Scores: Solo+Sopranos, Mezzos+Altos, CajonPERFORMANCE NOTES FROM THE COMPOSER:I AM is a singing meditation. It is both a piece that honors the individual and the whole. It is meant to affirm an individual's worth, as well as the whole collective. When a choir prepares for a performance, they rehearse a piece dozens if not hundreds of times. I wanted the experience of rehearsing I AM to be an ongoing declaration of the singer’s value. Therefore, every phrase in this piece is an affirmation. When a singer finds themselves singing the piece outside of rehearsal, they will be singing words that are positive and affirming. I cannot express how much joy that brings me as a composer.Musically, I AM is both complex, with its 7-part vocal split, contrasting rhythms, and varying accents, yet simple in its repetition, lyrics, and tonality. Each of the 7 parts sings a unique affirmation throughout the piece. They are simple statements like, I am enough and I am love, but can hold so much complexity depending on an individual's relationship with the statement. In the middle of the piece, there is an aleatoric section where each singer contributes their unique affirming statement. It creates a chaotic building of sound before coming together for the first and only time in the piece to sing I AM as a whole choir in block chords. It is one of my favorite moments in the piece because simple and complex are just a beat apart.I AM was commissioned by the Grand Rapids Women's Chorus and premiered on May 10, 2024. If you would like to hear more about the creation of the piece, you can hear the composer's original explantions on Youtube.

Piano Accompaniment, Dan CutchenTime: approximately 6:00And Can It Be That I Should Gain? is a Christian hymn written by Charles Wesley. And Can It Be was written in 1738 to celebrate Wesley's conversion, which he regarded as having taken place on May 21 of that year. This beautiful hymn has been popular and enduring. And Can It Be That I Should Gain is perhaps one of the most joyfully poignant hymns penned by Charles Wesley (1707-1788). On Whitsunday (Pentecost), May 21, 1738, three days before his brother John experienced his heart strangely warmed,’ Charles was convalescing in the home of John Bray, a poor mechanic, when he heard a voice saying, In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, arise, and believe, and thou shalt be healed of all thy infirmities. The voice was most likely Mr. Bray’s sister who felt commanded to say these words in a dream.Anglican hymn writer Timothy Dudley-Smith, notes that the following then happened:Charles got out of bed and opening his Bible read from the Psalms: He have put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God, followed by the first verse of Isaiah 40, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. He wrote in his journal, I have found myself at peace with God, and rejoiced in the hope of love Christ (Dudley-Smith, 1987, 1).The statement from Mr. Bray’s sister sparked within Charles a conviction like he had never felt before. Moved and convicted in spirit, Charles wrestled with these words until he came to rest in his faith, knowing that it is by faith we are saved (Ephesians 2:8).Soon after this conversion experience, he wrote two hymns in celebration of the amazing love he had come to know: And Can It Be that I Should Gain and Where Shall My Wondering Soul Begin? (United Methodist Hymnal, 342)There has been some debate as to which hymn was written first, but most current scholarship accepts the latter as the first hymn written by Charles after his conversion experience. No matter its place in the chronology of Wesley's output, And Can It Be has been and remains one of his most remarkable hymns, expressing like no other the rapturous joy of receiving salvation. And Can It Be That I Should Gain. I originally arranged it for Voice with Quartet accompaniment in F, with my daughter, Alice Rose Wild, who sings on the live recording. You can hear our recording of the whole song on my channel if you type in Skinny Black Dogs, Capriccio Quartet, ‘All I want for Christmas’ into Youtube. More recently I have created this version for String Quartet in the key of G. At the moment I have only the Sibelius computer score, and hope to record it with Capriccio Quartet once the covid pandemic is at an end. Suspend your disbelief! Why choose my Arrangement? The arrangement is in a great key for strings and most of the double stopping includes an open string. In one or two places the double stopping is a bit more tricky, so for younger players it would be better perhaps to miss out one of the notes, or to play them consecutively. The Intro. For the first violinist I include two versions of the intro and recommend that the quartet listen to the original, or to Alice’s recording for speed and performance tips. It is quite difficult to get the computer to do it musically, so the video intro is only intended as a rough guide. One of the enclosed options is intended as a rehearsal version, and has the lyrics to help. I have bowed it to include lots of downbows, and recovery of bows, which will help the other members to follow. The tricky sextuplet and triplet ornament at bar 10 can be omitted altogether. Simply pause on the ‘C’ and then recover the downbow for the next bar.I also include two versions of the violin two and viola parts. One is on two pages as a smaller font, and one on three pages with a larger font. For cellists who are a bit daunted by the solo at letter A , simply play the fourth position semi breve Gs at bar 12 and at bars 13 and 14 too, and revert to the original score at bar 15. ie Six semibreve Gs. Perhaps a harmonic D at bar 15 would be easier than a shift at this point, and then join in unison with the rest of the band. The song moves between a straight crotchet pulse and lots of syncopated lines. This will be difficult to read on paper, but I always recommend listening to the song many times and then doing it by ear, using the notes on the page as a guide. Try not to play them too literally.PrintoutsPages 1 - 10 are for Look Inside Options only.Pages 11 - 28 includes all PartsPage 29 onwards is the optional Score for rehearsals. The vocal version is proving popular, but for a standard quartet Wedding and Events repertoire I hope that people will enjoy this arrangement. Send me recordings on facebook, even if they are phone rehearsals. I love to hear them, and to make contact with quartets around the world!

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1018012 By Bob Dylan. By Bob Dylan. Arranged by Servaas Verbergt. Pop. Guitar Tab. 4 pages. Servaas Verbergt #6498585. Published by Servaas Verbergt (A0.1018012). This beautiful Dylan song has it all: heartbreaking lyrics, moving harmonies and a beautiful melody. Because it would be a pity for guitarists not to be able to play Adele's piano version I decided to make a transcription. The score only has the guitar part but you won't have a hard time singing the lyrics on top. Or even better: ask a singer to sing the melody. I can ensure you that the audience will leave in tears. Everything on the score is as in Adeles version except for a small guitar solo I added instead of Adeles piano solo. Don't hesitate to do your own thing in this passage, it is only there as a suggestion. I have put double bar-lines at every section and added chord symbols at the first A and the first B. This way it will be easier for you to grasp the structure of the song. Enjoy!

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1190986 By Linda Ronstadt. By Al Hoffman, Jerry Livingston, and Mack David. Arranged by Timothy Stapay. Broadway,Children,Film/TV,Musical/Show,Pop,Standards. Score. 4 pages. Timothy Stapay #790514. Published by Timothy Stapay (A0.1190986). This is an arrangement of A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes from the Walt Disney movie Cinderella. It is written in a happy rhythmic style. This style of piano performance is often used by piano players at Disney World, to entertain the guests. Now you can learn to play this beloved classic song, in the same style as the famous Disney pianists.A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes is a song written and composed by Mack David, Al Hoffman and Jerry Livingston for the Walt Disney film Cinderella (1950). In the song, Cinderella (voiced by Ilene Woods) encourages her animal friends to never stop dreaming, and that theme continues throughout the entire story. The song was inspired off of Franz Liszt’s Transcendental Etude No. 9 (Ricordanza).See the lyrics below:A dream is a wish your heart makesWhen you're fast asleepIn dreams you will loose your heartacheWhatever you wish for, you keepHave faith in your dreams and somedayYour rainbow will come smiling throughNo matter how your heart is grievingIf you keep on believingThe dream that you wish will come trueOh, that clock!Oh, killjoyI hear you, come on, get up you sayTime to start another dayEven he orders me aroundWell, there's one thingThey can't order me to stop dreamingAnd perhaps somedayThe dreams that I wish will come trueNo matter how your heart is grievingIf you keep on believingThe dream that you wish will come true

Brass Ensemble Euphonium - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.813440 Composed by Johann Pachelbel. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Baroque,Multicultural,Standards,Wedding,World. Score and parts. 36 pages. Regis Bookshar #6260473. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.813440). Canon (Pachelbel) (Bb) (Euphonium Octet - Treble Clef) - Advanced/Intermediate - Digital Download. This selection, Johann Pachelbel's celebrated Canon, is perhaps the most famous canon ever written and has been one of my favorite compositions to arrange. A canon is a polyphonic device in which several voices play the same music, entering in sequence. Pachelbel's Canon, was originally written in the key of D Major and was scored for three violins arranged in canon, accompanied by a basso continuo which repeats the same harmonic progression throughout the entire piece. The common musical term for this is ostinato or ground bass. Regis Bookshar has now arranged this music for a Euphonium Octet. Three Euphoniums play the melody in canon while the ostinato accompaniment is played by the other five instruments. This arrangement is suitable for high school and college students but could also be performed by professional performers. It is perfect for concerts and church services, especially for Weddings, but could be performed for any occasion. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (36 pages) written in Treble Clef. A version written in Bass Clef is also available if you prefer. This version is written in the key of Bb Major, to make it a little easier for some younger performers, but another version is also available in the key of D Major if you would prefer. Other versions of Pachelbel's Canon have also been arranged by Regis Bookshar and are available for a wide variety of instrumental Quintets and Octets, in both the keys of D Major and Bb Major. I think that String players would probably prefer to play the versions in the key of D Major while the Brass and Woodwind musicians might prefer to play the Bb Major versions. I hope you take the time to compare the different versions to find the right version for you. To help you decide which version, or versions, you may want to choose, I have included several musical samples for you to listen to and to hear what these arrangements may sound like and so that you may compare the various arrangements. Also, just to let you know, the Octets written in the key of Bb Major have full-length recordings while the Octets in D Major and all Quintets have only the first 25 measures, or so, available to hear. Please feel free to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar which are also available. There are quite a few other arrangements in a variety of styles and I'm certain you will find something else which might interest you as well. Please keep checking because I plan to continue to add new arrangements as often as I can. I'm certain that this exciting arrangement of Pachelbel's Canon will be a challenge to some performers but will continue to entertain both performers and audiences alike for years to come.

Regis Bookshar #6260453. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.813435). Canon (Pachelbel) (Bb) (Bassoon Octet) - Advanced/Intermediate - Digital Download. Regis Bookshar has now arranged this music for a Bassoon Octet. Three Bassoons play the melody in canon while the ostinato accompaniment is played by the other five.Bassoons. This arrangement is suitable for high school and college students but could also be performed by professional performers. It is perfect for concerts and church services, especially for Weddings, but could be performed for any occasion. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (35 pages).
