Organ - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.814658 Composed by Richard E Brown. Arranged by Dacker Music. Concert,Contemporary,Easter,Praise & Worship,Standards. Score. 7 pages. Dacker Music #2950655. Published by Dacker Music (A0.814658). This is part of a group of 6 chorale preludes for organ, which are also available as a collection. Each lasting at or just under three minutes, these chorale preludes are useful as recital repertoire, as well as preludes, offertories, and postludes for church services. Each piece includes a brief history of the source tune, along with a list of the most familiar hymns that use it. Authorization is given to substitute an appropriate hymn title for the tune name on programs and church bulletins. Since I am not an organist myself, and most organs are just as unique as their players anyway, registration choices are mostly left up to the performer. Level: M - Duration: 3:00 To hear a complete recording of this and all my organ music, go to: http://dackermusic.com/organ.html

Instrumental Solo,Pipe Organ - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1251259 By Vida Prekerytė. By Juozas Naujalis. Arranged by Balys Vaitkus. Classical,Religious,Romantic Period. Individual part. 3 pages. Nacionaline vargonininku asociacija #845537. Published by Nacionaline vargonininku asociacija (A0.1251259). 14 Preludes, Op. 20. Fourteen pieces for organ, dedicated to a “beloved friend, Fr. Teodoras Brazys,†presents the largest collection of works for this instrument in Naujalis’ oeuvre. Like Naujalis, Brazys was the graduate of the Church Music School in Regensburg. These fourteen preludes for organ appear to be written in expression of deep affinity and gratitude to a like-minded friend who shared similar values. Some of Naujalis’ organ preludes have been included in music collections abroad – by Mieczysław Surzyński in Warsaw and Joseph Joubert in Paris. Juozas Naujalis (1869–1934) – Lithuanian composer and organist. In 1892, he was appointed organist and choir leader at the Kaunas Cathedral, a position he held until his death. Naujalis became actively involved in organizing local musical societies and institutions. As an outcome of his groundbreaking work, a number of important private entities, such as the first boys’ choir in Lithuania based at the Archcathedral Basilica in Kaunas, courses and the school for organists (1911), the first legal Lithuanian bookshop and music publishing house in Kaunas (1905–1912), the first music magazine Vargonininkas (The Organist) and calendars for organists published in Lithuanian (1909–1910), and the music school in Kaunas (1919), have been launched. In 1908, he founded the Children Society and St. Gregory Society for Organists, which was later reorganised into St. Cecilia Society for church musicians (1924). Naujalis was also the first Lithuanian composer to achieve recognition abroad. His church music was published in Regensburg, Warsaw, St. Petersburg, Leipzig and Paris. In recognition of his merits in the field of church music he was made Commander of the Order of the Crown of Italy in Rome, in 1929.A total of 29 organ pieces by Naujalis were recorded at the Archcathedral Basilica in Kaunas in 2019.

Organ - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1207714 Composed by August Freyer. Arranged by Ascalon. Christian,Classical,Religious. Score. 12 pages. Ascalon #805840. Published by Ascalon (A0.1207714). The collection contains 12 easy preludes for organ without a pedal. The preludes lend themselves very well to a church service and are excellent pedagogical material.August Freyer (15 December 1801 – 28 May 1883) was a Polish musician and composer, specializing in both performance and composition on the organ.August was born in Saxony in 1801. He moved to Warsaw and began his musical career there as a double bass player. He became organist at the Warsaw Evangelical Church, had the organ rebuilt, and turned his church into a prominent musical location while becoming the prominent organist and organ teacher in Warsaw. He made a tour of northern Germany as an organist, from which he received wide acclaim.August was a musical pupil of Józef Elsner. He became a close associate of Adolf Friedrich Hesse. He promoted Hesse's music to Mikhail Glinka, successful in his performance to the point of reducing his listener to tears. At an early age Stanisław Moniuszko became his pupil, his parents relocated to Warsaw in order to have Stanisław study with Freyer. He died in 1883.Freyer was largely responsible for the revival of organ music in Poland. He was a master at music balance, both homophonic and polyphonic. His playing was appreciated by Felix Mendelssohn and Louis Spohr. In addition to the aforementioned German concerts, he toured Paris to enthusiastic reception. His most famous composition was a set of Concert Variations of which the final-movement fugue is the most recognized.

Organ - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.821203 Composed by Gordon Thornett. Christian,Christmas,Concert,Sacred. Score. 7 pages. Gordon John Thornett #3864417. Published by Gordon John Thornett (A0.821203). This short prelude was written as a processional to precede a festive arrangement of the ancient cherubic hymn, Let all mortal flesh keep silence, which received its first performance at Berlin Cathedral on November 29th 2017. This was commissioned to mark the 25th anniversary of John F Kennedy School’s annual Advent services, in collaboration with the American Church in Berlin. The prelude incorporates themes from various Advent hymns, as well as elements of the fanfare theme from the main choral piece. As well as providing an introduction to a performance of the Cherubic Hymn setting (which can be ordered separately), the prelude may also be performed as a stand-alone piece. As in the first performance, I have left the registrations to be added by the organist.

With KlavarScore, music in all keys (tonalities) are equally easy to read. The staff lines represent the black keys and the score is read from top to bottom. The black keys are represented by black dots (note heads) on the lines, the white keys by open dots (note heads) between the lines. For more information about KlavarScore, Scrolling KlavarScore, the recommended sheet music reader app, and free examples, visit https://www.klavarscore.org.
