In Little Seeds you will find new hymns from my heart. My devotional life is given to you in my hymnwriting. During the past three years I have been writing songs for the unity of the church - songs reminding us of our baptism. I have been writing biblical story hymns for lesser-known characters. I have written paperless songs that may be easily memorized. I set a Rumi poem. There are new hymns for Christian missions from everywhere to everywhere. You will find new texts and musical settings for folk songs from around the world. I hope I have treated these with the love and respect they deserve. You will find alternate arrangements of some songs that may be useful in different settings. Lim Swee Hong composed three tunes for this collection at my request. I am also pleased to include Lianne Tan's first published hymn tune in Little Seeds

This a song in parable inspired by the holy spirit and a PROMISE of GOD that it is a prophesy song that we will progress to the space mission even to reach beyond the universe and creating new world up there as finishing the work GOD began to do to other worlds is that it is a sign up there he left it unfinished work he finished earth so to see how determined planet earth is to learn of him and take after the real true GOD rather then false gods to see if we will finish off those worlds up there in order to transport life there from here declairing these new worlds will then be part of planet earth the space mission today has the ability power to do this and I beleive one day they will do this it has a final meaning that the space ships will mean we will travel without tecknolodgy it be that the nick name space ship is given by me for the name of the holy spirit because his beyond all powerful I know in parable because he will accend us up high without a space ship as he already has for me for I been in the always given eternal life I have now returned back hewre the moment I left in time and space ye true ye I have been everywhere up there by the power of the holy spirit as he accended me up high in the always

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1255098 Composed by Ross Fiddes. 21st Century,Chamber,Classical,Contemporary. Score. 25 pages. Ross Fiddes #848692. Published by Ross Fiddes (A0.1255098). It was in the aftermath of the 2020 summer bushfires in Australia that soprano Ayse Goknur Shanala rang me from Cyprus to suggest I compose a work about climate change, a subject of concern for me.  My research for lyrics did not elicit anything I considered suitable, so I turned to Derek Dowding, a local poet, singer, actor, raconteur, and a person vitally interested in the future of humanity and of the planet.Derek and I had worked together before – he brilliantly performed the role of Abelard in the workshopping and concert performances of my hybrid opera “Abelard and Heloiseâ€, which, in 1997, won the supreme CONDA (City of Newcastle Drama Award)  for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Newcastle Theatre’ against some 200 other stage productions in Newcastle’s bi-centenary year.Derek worked long and late on the lyrics for the work, producing an emotional document covering history, cause and effect.  His words produced musical responses from me which I consider react appropriately to both his words and the subject matter. I hope our listeners will agree. For the musical treatment I had to consider that the length of the work, through-sung, 20+ minutes, required a recurrent grounding to avoid too many thematic ideas getting in the way of the words.  To that end, I created a quasi-reflective section which appears, rondo-style, quite a few times during the length of the piece.  And, for further cohesion, I built an ABA (ternary) section early to address certain word structures.  Mostly, the various sections followed the stanza structure provided by Derek, with some combinations.  My musical style is essentially melodic, but with dramatic and other episodes, be they tonal, astringent, harmonically indecisive and so on.  In building the work I was principally influenced by the impact and flow of the words. The work is quite mammoth for both the singer and the pianist.  I was absolutely delighted that Anna Fraser again premiered a work of mine – in 2015 she marvellously premiered another major composition of mine, reviewed here:  http://soundslikesydney.com.au/reviews/concert-review-the-man-in-the-other-roomacacia-quartetanna-fraser/19830.htmlWe can only hope that the new work ultimately adds to the chorus of warnings and concern about the climactic future that awaits if we continue to ignore or postpone dramatic and urgent attention to addressing the causes of climate change.A living orb cloaked white and blue and greenRevolving and evolving, tight-hugged in orbit flightWe ride her back; dependent, fragile offspring.Suckling all the while …but have we bonded?A world unlike any other world we’ve seenGifted with Water, Air, Earth and perfect Light. The essentials of life. Freely, these gifts she brings.Free for all but how have we responded?                                   Poem© 2020 Derek DowdingRoss FiddesJanuary 2023.

Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred,Spiritual. 11 pages. Kevin G. Pace #934234. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1349477). An epically beautiful, sacred choral work with baritone soloist.  Music by Kevin G. Pace.  Text by Mary Ann W. Snowball.Text:Shouldst Not the Heavens Weep?“ . . . for He loveth the world . . .† (2 Nephi 26:24)In a striking prophecy and opened to his view,Enoch saw mortality as a glorious truth.Curtains of creation birthed God’s pure holy race.Yet what Enoch saw were tears on His saddened face. How is it that Thou canst weep? Thou art God of all!All eternity is thine . . . this thy sacred call.Mercy goes before thy eyes, truth before thy throne. How is it that Thou canst weep? All thy worlds are known.Of my soul pure children came, from my very hands.I gave mankind agency so all love could stand. But, behold, their sins I see; mis’ry is their doom.Seeing some shall suffer much, my heart feels entombed.Shouldest not the heavens weep for these ofmy own?Suff’ring for each child of mine, I for them atoned.Tears that fall are for their souls; these must suffer too.If they choose not to repent, my love seems untrue.Chorus:Shouldst not the heavens weep? God gave life to all.Shouldst not the heavens weep? His love covers all.

The meaning of this song is that if we right something down like a message or film tape so on you can then hide it good well sometime in the future the item will still be there as long as it is not destroyed thus it will travel in the future the best way is on paper writings or stone tablets because in the future they may have or may not have the same technology as we do today for videos or tapes so on to see it or hear the message if someone in the future finds it off course it would have to be preserved from things like weather that can destroy it well the old saints preached the gospel everywhere but also wrote it down and hid it well well by miracle by praying GOD preserved it and now we got the holy bible this is proven that there was no way in the world that this holy bible could have survived preserved all these years unless GOD preserved it which he did this is the story of how the holy bible survived the time they found it they found it in different books lots of them in different places of the world this proves there must be a GOD out there who preserved it the HOLY BIBLE thus the song says s o s reaching the future thus it means as i said above

Choral Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.730418 Composed by James Nathaniel Holland. Children,Christmas,Contemporary,Holiday. Score. 150 pages. James Nathaniel Holland #3376293. Published by James Nathaniel Holland (A0.730418). The Piano Vocal Score (with SA Chorus) New Contemporary Classical Music from American Costa Rican composer James Nathaniel Holland in his masterful ballet adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale, The Snow Queen. Ballet yet to be premiered. Be the first to produce it! Highlights are The Dance of the Evil Snow Sprite and the Distorted Mirror, Innocence and Kai and Gerde's Special Friendship, The Waltz of the Roses ('Think of my love as a Rose'), The Waltz of the Snowflakes (Snowbees), Gerde Morns Kai's Death, The Suite of the Lady of Spring (Tale of the Tiger Lillies, The Dream of the Morning Glories, The Tale of the Snowdrops, the Hyacinth's Tale), The Waltz of the Summer Palace, Dance of the Thieves and Kai's Joyous Dance Finale. Ballet Synopsis: Evil Snow Sprites make a mirror that reflects all that is mean and evil. When it shatters, its splinters drift to the far corners of the world. Gerde and Kai are two poor children who live in Copenhagen in the early 19th Century. They live innocently with their parents and Grandmother and tend a rooftop rose garden. One winter night Kai meets the Snow Queen and a splinter from the mirror enters his eye. The Snow Queen returns and abducts Kai. Although accepted as dead, Gerde deeply feels otherwise and begins her quest to find her friend, traveling through the four seasons, sometimes beautiful and sometimes frightening. The Lady of Spring takes her as an addition to her fantastical garden filled with tales and dreams of the flowers who dwell there. But when Gerde sees the rose on Spring's bonnet she wakes from her enchantment. Her tears spring back the roses who tell her Kai is not dead. She flees from the garden. Gerde grows up in the wilderness and a crow says that he has seen Kai at the Palace of the Queen of Summer. They hurry there to find a magnificent ball in progress. Gerde is introduced to the Kai lookalike but knows something is not right. The Queen of Summer helps Gerde on her way and lends her a coach and gives her a magic red rose that will never fade.As coach searches for Kai, it enters the season of Autumn and is accosted by robber girl and a band of theives. They dance in an rousing, energetic dance taunting her. When the morning comes Gerde tells her fellow captive animals of her quest to find Kai and that all hope is lost. The pigeons finally tell Gerde that Kai was abducted by the Snow Queen many years ago. The robber girl overhears them and has a change of heart letting her go with her reindeer to the far North of the Snow Queen.Gerde finds Kai in the palace of the Snow Queen piecing together the evil mirror. She gives Kai up for dead but leaves the rose of summer beside him. Kai spots the rose and he sheds a tear. The splinter falls out and he completes the mirror. They head back for home to their families were there is a big finale of a beautiful wedding on a late summer day and live happily ever after.YouTube Complete Ballet presentation: https://youtu.be/-zDAJ-Ttw70Composer website: http://lacoronadelossantos.net/jamesnathanielholland.htmlTwo part performance CDs sold separately. String Ensemble,String Trio - Digital Download SKU: A0.1004149 Composed by Matthew Scott Phillips. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 13 pages. Matthew Scott Phillips #3510885. Published by Matthew Scott Phillips (A0.1004149). Throughout the centuries, sundials (a flat plate that marks the time of the day by the shadow of a gnomon which is cast onto it) have been used by civilizations to tell time. Unlike modern clocks and digital watches, in which every single second has its own momentary significance, telling time by sundial is more evolutionary. The seconds, and hours, melt into one another. It is perhaps for this reason that sundials have often been conceived not only as practical time pieces, but as works of art, metaphors, and creations that are inherent expressions of the personality of their creators. Etched in many sundials across the world, in Latin, English, German, and other languages are often found mottoes that reflect the thoughts of the sundial's creator. These mottoes can be fatalistic, humorous, transient, morbid, or serene, and almost always involve the subjects of time, the passing of the hours, life and its brevity, or metaphors involving shadows. Many times these mottoes feature some witticism, such as I only count the sunny hours (since a shadow must be present for a sundial to function). Other times, they can be revealingly existential (We are but shadow), and other times offer advice (Use the hours, don't count them). It is these statements of philosophy, etched in sundials throughout the centuries, that most interests me. I am currently composing a set of movements for piano trio (Piano, Violin, Cello) dedicated to the mottoes found on sundials, and their significance to me. The first movement, subtitled Tempus Edax Rerum (Time devours things) is expansive and attempts a feeling of eternity, into which all seemingly fast moving workings of human beings are inevitably subsumed. For the second movement I am considering the phrase Pereunt et Imputantur (They pass and are counted referring to the hours of the day), and its implication of the way in which time can slip away, whether we observe it or not.

String Quartet String Quartet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.773330 Composed by Various. Arranged by Yoel Epstein. Christian,Contemporary,Jewish,World. Score and parts. 37 pages. Yoel Epstein #4285845. Published by Yoel Epstein (A0.773330). These six songs have become icons of remembrance of the six million Jews who died in the Holocaust. They are traditionally played on Holocaust Day, which is on the 28th day of the Hebrew month of Nissan in Israel, or January 27th in the rest of the world. Unter Dyne Vyse Shteren (Under the Starry Sky) was written by Avraham Sutskover, a leading Yiddish poet, while trapped in the ghetto of Vilna, in July 1943. Days before the ghetto was destroyed and all the Jews murdered, Sutskover escaped to the forest with his wife. He reached Russia, and in 1947 moved to Palestine. He died in Israel in 2010 at the age of 96. The poem was set to music by Avraham Brodna, a simple laborer in the Vilna ghetto who died in a concentration camp. Ani Maamin (I Believe): The words to this simple song are of the Jewish prayer I believe with perfect faith in the coming of the Messiah. The tune is attributed to Azriel David Festig, a leading Warsaw hazzan (cantor) who died in the Holocaust. The song was performed after the war by Rabbi Shaul Yedidia Eliezer Taub, the Admor (Rabbinical leader) of the Modzitz Hassidic sect, and has become the iconic song of the remembrance in the Hassidic community. Shtiller Shtiller (Hush Hush) was written by Alexander Volkovitzky, then a 12-year-old boy, in the Vilna Ghetto in the spring of 1943. Volkovitzky, who wrote the melody for a song contest organized to encourage the cultural life of the ghetto, eventually came to Israel where he (under the name Alexander Tamir) became a leading pianist and music educator. The words are by Shmerke Kacserginsky, a leading poet of Vilna, who later escaped the Holocaust and migrated to South America. Papirossen (Cigarettes) actually predates the Holocaust by 15 years. It was written by Yiddish actor and composer Herman Yablokoff in 1922 in Grodno, Poland. Yablokoff later immigrated to America, where he produced a musical Papirossen that incorporated the song. It was later made famous by the Barry Sisters, a Yiddish popular music group. Donna Donna was written by Shalom Secunda, with words by Aaron Zeitlin for the Yiddish musical Esterke in 1940. Though the song originally related to the 600-year-old legend of a Polish king who married a Jewess, it quickly became associated with the Holocaust because of its haunting message. The song has entered the popular folk repertoire, with canonical renditions by Joan Baez, Theodore Bikel, and many others. Hatikva (the Hope) is Israel's national anthem. The words are by Naftali Zvi Imber, and the tune is a traditional eastern European tune. You are welcome to try some of my other arrangements. In addition to the songs offered on this site (you can see them at http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/search?Ntt=Yoel+Epstein ), I have arranged three songs from the Holocaust, which I arranged and distribute for free on IMSLP. You can find them at http://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Ravpapa. De facto Anthems of the Confederate States of America ''I Wish I Was in Dixie & Taps''- ''God Save the South No. 1'' - The Bonnie Blue Flag, ''God Save the South No. 2'', arranged for Brass Quintet & Percussion. The Confederate States of America (also referred to as The Confederacy or simply The South) had, like the United States at the time, several patriotic songs in use which could have been considered anthems, like Dixie, The Bonnie Blue Flag, and God Save the South, none of which were officially declared (possibly because declaring an official anthem wasn’t as important to a new nation then as it is now). God Save the South does have more of an anthemaic quality in the music and lyrics, and several publications of the song refer to it as a (or the) anthem, and was also the first song to be published in the Confederacy (which was subsequently published in at least nine editions).God Save the South was written by George H. Miles under the pseudonym Earnest Halphin, soon after the war started. Miles was a Marylander, a state that did not officially secede and join the confederacy, but, being a border state, had several citizens with sympathies for the south. An interesting thing to note about the song is the reference to George Washington (the first president of the United States) in the song’s fifth verse. Apparently, the author of the song meant to tie in Washington’s stance as a rebel against the British in the American revolution with the South’s rebellion against the northern United States in the civil war.The music was written by C. W. A. Ellerbock, but another tune by C. T. De Cœniél was also popular at the time as well. (Ellerbock’s version, however, seems to be the original.)For more of my original music, great arrangements and all the national anthems of the world, check out my on-line stores:http://www.scoreexchange.com/profiles/keith_terrethttp://musicforalloccasions.org.ukhttp://www.sheetmusicplus.com/search?Ntt=keith+terrettNeed an anthem fast? Instrumental Duet Guitar,Instrumental Duet,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.576279 Composed by David Warin Solomons. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 4 pages. David Warin Solomons #15653. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.576279). This song was inspired by my initial reactions to the realization that I am infertile. In my case this was due to Kallmann's syndrome I am now perfectly happy with my infertility, after all, there is much else to do in the world and Dawkins' selfish gene can simply go spin its plot elsewhere: my children are my compositions, and they populate the world in their own way with joy, humour and thoughtfulness... wherever they will... ... However, I know there are many who are not happy with childlessness, so I dedicate this song to them ....and to my past self. The sound sample is my own performance. Here are the words: Learn this my child, who never hears my word Your luck is out, you are but but a poem deaf to change You are a romantic ramble on absurd round which the childless brain desires to range Hear this my daughter, blind to loveliness Your love is mine, untouchable, unknown to all Save to a song befitting her distress Whom Sappho loved but answered not her call See this my eunuch, watching others` joy Your luck was in, your luck was in You threw it far away, too far away for its return Save to another and another boy while I look on, unmoved as from a star Taste this my tears grown cold Resigned and pure Your love is his I know not whose nor do I care Yet love I would, and yet cannot be sure that another`s love could now be mine to share Warm this my heart These strings beget my child Their luck is in Their love is mine So close, my son! This edition: vocal/piano score. Downloadable, Piano reduction. Duration 150 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q40439. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q40439). English.Like few other theatre works—The Magic Flute, A Midsummer Night’s Dream—Tippett’s first opera creates a wholly other place, one where human actions can be seen as in a tilted mirror. Since this is indeed an opera, the place, or dreamspace, is conjured by music: by luminescent music that, in its flowing abundance, radiant harmonies and evocative wind colourings, represents the natural world within which the characters have to integrate themselves. The central couple, those whose marriage is at first subverted and then gloriously celebrated, are Mark and Jenifer: he a young man of the earth and the senses, she a young woman of lofty spirituality. Each is only half a person, and before they can be united they have to be made whole, have to find within themselves an understanding of the other. Overseeing their mythic initiation and psychic healing are two Ancients, votaries of a temple on a wooded hilltop. As in the Mozart precedent, which the composer certainly had in mind, there is also a more workaday couple, Jack and Bella. The other principals are Jenifer’s businessman father King Fisher, who wants to stop the wedding for reasons of his own, and an Erda-like seer. There is also a dancer, Strephon, leading the exuberant ballet in which the orchestra completes the story of enlightenment and passion. It is ultimately a victory of love and, before love, self-knowledge.(Paul Griffiths).

Her earliest memory was watching her mother play classical piano. She began piano lessons at the age of 8, and started composing shortly thereafter.Stevens approaches her compositions as an artist. She paints musical portraits of the things that bring meaning to life: relationship to living things, emotional healing, discovering what matters most and honoring that as best we are able. Stevens' beautiful piano-based music aligns one with their own heart. Although some of her music can be described as New Age, her roots are heavily based in classical and jazz. Her study of classical composition makes her music more complex than some New Age music. Her music has been likened to the impressionistic composers such as Claude Debussy. Sydney's formal training is also reflected in her ability to compose for orchestral instruments. Her latest release, Cycles of Life, was solely recorded and produced by Sydney, programming all of the virtual instruments.Sydney has a great love for jazz. Keith Jarrett was an influence on her with his innovative and improvisational piano recordings and performances. She was particularly impressed with the freedom of style he portrayed in his performances. Bill Evans was something Sydney heard played as a young child. Where her mother was a classical pianist, her father was a jazz pianist. Perhaps that's why some of Sydney’s music can be described as a crossover between classical and jazz--remnants from those early years. Joni Mitchell and Judy Collins were big inspirations for Sydney's songwriting. She was especially drawn to the deeply emotional lyrics in many of their songs.Cycles of Life, the title track from Sydney's current release, was composed for her late step dad. The song is about the cycle of birth and death: Cycles of life go on, yet we carry all that we've known and loved through the ages. Time, another track on Sydney's current release, is a song about how time passes more quickly when we are doing something we cherish. Brian's Song, inspired by the loss of her father-in-law, reflects: All that really matters is the way we fill our heart, and the ways that it has loved. Dawn, a track from Sydney's album Seasons, is a beautiful piano-based instrumental with light string background. It portrays that very peaceful hour as the sun slowly lights up the world -- the hour of dawn.Sydney is a poet. She sees the world through a heart that feels the joy and sorrow of the world and those she meets. Her gift is the ability to transfer that emotion into music. Listening to her music is like taking a journey. She delves into depths of emotion, often taking the listener to places that can be difficult to go without the comfort of a beautiful song to accompany them.In addition to being a prolific composer, Stevens runs a.

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.522333 Composed by Unknown - traditional. Arranged by Paul A. Jorg. Christian,Spiritual,Traditional. Octavo. 4 pages. Paul A. Jorg #5869331. Published by Paul A. Jorg (A0.522333). This song is public domain, written in the 1850's, during a time - pre-civil war - when the nation was being torn apart. The writer calms his anxiety by holding on to God's promises. Here are some lyric notes: I am a poor, wayfaring stranger - Wayfaring: traveling especially on foot; peripatetic country preachers; a poor wayfaring stranger. Wandering through this world of woe - Matthew 18:7: Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come! And there's no sickness, toil or danger - John 11:4: When he heard this, Jesus said, This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it. Steubing Memorial Music Fund, Inc. #773130. Published by Carl M. Steubing Memorial Music Fund, Inc. (A0.1172921). “I hope that he can see in me, his brotherâ€. “Brothers†is an original musical work. The music is composed by Carl M. Steubing and the words are from a poem written by Carl’s good friend Miles J. Martin.  The opening lyrics, “Who is that manâ€, refers to an older Asian gentleman Miles encountered during vacation in the Far East. They were strangers that could not communicate, but when their eyes met they smiled at each other, and Miles recognized the man as his brother.  Shortly thereafter Miles sat down and wrote the poem called “Brothersâ€. Carl M. Steubing wrote the music, and it was published in 1967. This song was very relevant back in 1967 but has even more significance today. Brothers (and sisters) around the world are looking to belong in our chaotic world. They are searching for more connections, more empathy, and more love for each other.  No matter where you are from, the color of your skin, the faith you follow, or the person you choose to love, may we all find a way to look into each other’s eyes, smile and see in each other our brother or sister.

Through The Years is meant to be a reflection back onto one’s childhood. Inspired by my own upbringing, it is a recollection of past events that came and mindsets experienced. It opens up with a loud and active sound to show the start of the journey. The character begins happy and energetic, going head first with no fear. The dotted quarter note theme at measure 11 then shows the young child’s state of mind. While beginning to understand concepts of anxiety and fear, he is still full of vigor and confidence. Then at measure 26, the main character begins his adolescence. Still fresh and happy, he sees the world in a simple way and that it is actively watching out for him. He is enjoying this passive time of leisure until measure 40, where he decides to actively try to seek out something. He gets carried away however, and tries to return back to his roots, seen in measure 59. Unfortunately he finds himself tainted and unable to return to his go-getting former self. He then does something peculiar in measure 77. Instead of being angered or saddened by this fact, he accepts it and takes a step back to rebuild himself, seen in the fugato section. After a long and detailed remapping, he finds himself back at his desired happy self. However at measure 127, he feels himself changing once again. So through active awareness and will, he prevents himself from changing into something he doesn’t want to be and instead stays as his desired self.

She delves into depths of emotion, often taking the listener to places that can be difficult to go without the comfort of a beautiful song to accompany them.In addition to being a prolific composer,.

Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.893864 Composed by David Kai. Celtic,Folk,Pop. Score. 5 pages. David Kai #6100233. Published by David Kai (A0.893864). A song celebrating the people of Gander, Newfoundland & Labrador in Canada who helped close to 7,000 stranded airline passengers after September 11, 2001. The story of Gander and the surrounding towns has been immortalized in the Broadway show, Come From Away. The song is written in a Celtic/Newfoundland style. This song is dedicated to my spouse Marly's parents, Isaac and Sybil who were a part of the crew who helped the plane people in Gander through their involvement in the Anglican church. WHEN THE WORLD DROPS IN TO TOWN Words and music by David Kai ©2020 On the 11th of September, in a quiet little town In a place that they call Newfoundland, all the planes were coming down Just how many were arriving, it was hard to know or tell In a quiet town in Newfoundland on the day the towers fell. With ten thousand waiting on the ground, seven thousand on their way The schools and halls and churches were preparing for their stay And not only in Gander, but in places all around ‘Cause you’ve got to pull together when the world drops into town. Chorus: So raise a glass to them, let’s sing a song to cheer For all the workers, cooks and clerks, for all the volunteers Who showed such kindness, who stepped up when chips were down ‘Cause you’ve got to pull together when the world drops into town All the stores they opened up their doors, the supplies, how fast they flew! Take it all to help the plane people, it’s the least that we can do! Aunt Winnie baked two dozen of her partridgeberry pies She said, I think those plane people will be in for some surprise! So the people were all settled, and much to their delight There were home-cooked meals and showers in homes, even trips to see the sights Though they came from countries ‘round the world, they did seem to all fit in And in kitchen parties here and there, new found friends were being screeched in. Chorus: Soon the skies, they were reopened, just a week and they were gone Though the planes took off into the skies all the memories lingered on For what they all remember, and what’s talked of to this day Is how townsfolk cared for people who had come from far away. So let’s sing and let’s be thankful, for each and every one Who showed us how to live together in the year two-thousand one, Let’s celebrate their kindness, for we never will forget, That in Newfoundland a stranger’s just a friend you haven’t met. Chorus:
