A constituent nation of the United Kingdom, Scotland lacks an official, legislated national song; in fact there are several songs in use as national songs of Scotland. The one most often considered as the unofficial national anthem (and most often presented as Scotland’s anthem at sporting matches) is Flower of Scotland, written by Roy Williamson in 1965 for the popular folk group The Corries. It was first used in a sporting match in 1974 by the Scottish national rugby team in 1974, sung by the team. When the British God Save the Queen was sung before a rugby match in 1988 to represent Scotland, and was met by derision from the crowd, Flower of Scotland was adopted as Scotland’s pregame anthem. Flower of Scotland, however, has not been adopted in any official basis as the Scottish anthem. Other popular national songs of Scotland have sometimes used as unofficial national anthems, the most common being Scotland the Brave (a traditional melody (sheet music) with lyrics writted by Cliff Hanley in 1950). Scotland the Brave was used as the Scottish anthem at the Commonwealth Games until 2010 (when it was replaced by Flower of Scotland) and is most commonly heard on the bagpipe, the Scottish national instrument. When the Scottish Parliament was opened in 1997, another national song (A Man’s A Man for A’ That by national poet Robert Burns) was used, which isn’t usually presented as a Scottish anthem. The choice of this song may have been to duck the controversy of choosing one of the previously mentioned national songs as an official regional anthem, or by using God Save the Queen (the anthem of the United Kingdom, of which Scotland is a part). Published by Music Macri Editions (A0.931293). Ari Pulkkinen (born 15 January 1982) is a Finnish video game composer, musician and sound designer. His Angry Birds theme is perhaps his most famous work.Pulkkinen was born in Helsinki. At the age of 6 he started studying piano and composed his first song at the age of 12. He was interested in the computer music demoscene and started making music with tracker software under the name ArtZ. He won many music competitions and made his first big public album to accompany a freeware game named Starfight VI: Gatekeepers in 1999. Ari has never studied music composition academically.In 2003 he was hired as in-house audio director to game development company Frozenbyte Inc. Where he made the original soundtracks and sound design for video games Shadowgrounds, Shadowgrounds: Survivor and Trine. In his spare time Ari earned diplomas in Professional Audio Design and Producing and Further Education for Producers and Leads of the Finnish Game Industry with Adulta, and Music Technology with Sibelius Academy. After quitting Frozenbyte in 2008 (though he continues to have a professional relationship with them), Ari started his own sound production company AriTunes. Since then he has made original soundtrack and sound design for over twenty projects, including video games such as Angry Birds, Dead Nation, Trine 2, Outland and Super Stardust HD. Ari releases his music through his own label AriTunes.On 2 September 2011 in Video Game Heroes Concert, Angry Birds Theme was played by London Philharmonic Orchestra. This is the first time Ari's music was played by a full live orchestra.On 4 October 2011, Ari won the Best Finnish Game Developer in 2011 Award due to his contribution in the Finnish game industry.

He played the game and even wrote article about America’s Pastime. Sousa wrote the march THE NATIONAL GAME at the behest of Kenesaw Mountain Landis, the Commissioner of Baseball. For music and sports scholars and aficionados the years 1900-1920 are considered the golden age of the John Philip Sousa Band and baseball in America. The 1908 World Series is considered the greatest and most controversial baseball series of the twentieth century and the Sousa Band’s World Tour of 1910-1911 is undoubtedly one of the most unique music public relations efforts by a single individual to introduce the early twentieth-century world to American music, culture and baseball. John Philip Sousa’s band also served as his baseball team whenever they had a chance to play a game of baseball against another team from a community in which they were performing a concert.

As a father, similar memories with my children are among my warmest. This three-and-a-half-minute piece of music aptly tells the title’s story. The excitement leading up to the anticipated day of departure is electric! The opening fanfare-ish intro reflects this buzz well. It is followed by a quirky rhythmic section as “helpful†kids load their poorly packed bags full of unnecessary items awkwardly into the vehicle. The fanfare returns as the family hits the road at last. As the rest of the music unfolds, imagine the alphabet game, off-key songs sung at the top of everyone’s lungs, rest stops (emergency or otherwise), spilled food, car problems, drowsiness, souvenirs, car sickness, and of course ultimate arrival at planned destinations. This soundtrack to a fun part of life can be anyone’s road trip! Work on this composition began on September 19, 2021 as a thoroughly sketched out fanfare in my manuscript notebook during a church youth activity in a park. It remained in that state until I contracted Covid-19 in July 2022 and was confined to a hotel room for a week. There, I entered this sketch into the computer, along with a dozen others. Throughout the summer, all of these works received some attention, but this one more than the rest. Much of the final work on “Road Trip†took place during a trip to Philadelphia.

Jurassic World: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the film score to Jurassic World composed by Michael Giacchino. The album was released digitally and physically on June 9, 2015 by Back Lot Music.Giacchino previously scored the video games Warpath: Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park. The score also includes the Jurassic Park theme by John Williams. Giacchino stated: It was a really targeted approach, as to where to [include Williams' themes] and where would make the most sense and where would we most appreciate it, as fans ourselves.All music is composed by Michael Giacchino, except where noted. There are various instances throughout the score that contain hints to previous themes composed by Williams. These include the end of Gyrosphere of Influence which references the theme from Jurassic Park, as well as both Costa Rican Standoff and Our Rex is Bigger Than Yours that reference motifs used in Jurassic Park's sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park. The track Raptor Your Heart Out also briefly features a cue composed by Giacchino for the video game adaptation of The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Tim Simonec orchestrated and conducted the score, with Jeff Kryka, Susie Bench, Peter Boyer, Brad Dechter, Mark Gasbarro, Norman Ludwin, Cameron Patrick and Chris Tilton serving as additional orchestrators. There are many tracks that were not included in the official soundtrack, such as the music played during the scene at the Jurassic Park Visitors Center, which features a piano rendition of the original Jurassic Park theme. These tracks are included in the film's complete score, which was unofficially released on December 31, 2016.

Having been informed that a Waffen-SS commander has been captured by local members of the Resistance, an SS Panzer battalion is sent to the small village of Oradour in an alleged search for the kidnapped officer and Partisans’ weapons. At two o'clock on Saturday 10th, the midday calm is shattered by the appearance of German troops led by Major Diekmann at the southeastern entrance to the village. Soon after, all seven hundred villagers are assembled on the fairground. Women and children are herded and locked into the church, whereas men are marched in groups to nearby barns and crammed inside. While the village is being plundered, all men are machine-gunned by soldiers, and then the barns are set alight. A smoke bomb sets the church on fire too, and women and children trying to escape through the windows are mowed down as they make it outside. Marguerite is wounded on her way out, but she manages to hide in the bushes and stays there overnight until she is finally rescued the next afternoon.
