Harp - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889438 Composed by Luis Anjos Teixeira. Christmas,Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score. 6 pages. Luis Anjos Teixeira #4758665. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889438). The piece is thou very simple and easy to perform. It is appropriate for the harp and it sounds great on any kind of harp. When using a little lap harp, one can easily transpose the bass voice an octave higher. It is a flexible piece, you can play it slower or a little faster and even the arpeggio in the end that becomes quite easy after some practice could be replaced by a simple glissando. You should feel Free to apply in this piece the Art and technic that expresses entirely your individual skills, Your taste and Your Soul. It is a piece that can be used in many different kinds of situations, from the serious concert hall to a funeral, in Easter or even Christmas celebrations and all other kinds of Spiritual events or even joyful social meetings. When performed Live It will give you back a great feedback from the public, you will always want to have it in your repertoire. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this text and to listen to the file. I hope you have a lot of fun and enjoy the music. Sheers! Luis Anjos Teixeira „Now comes the Little Story The Volcano`s Lake was composed on a volcano called Pico that stands out about 2000 meters above see level right in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. From the bottom of the ocean to its pick it is higher than mount Everest. I like to know that there are an enormous amount of different species of whales that live in this area and many others that go there strictly for romance. I went there to perform with the harp but was at the same time deeply morning the death of my Dear Cat Mary Jane that tragically passed away the day before the flight. In this isle I was having at night strange dreams of epic battles and fights between flying Angels and Demons. In one of these dreams „Time and Matter were a byproduct of „Music itself. The wind was blowing, the volcano was dancing and the water on the lake was whispering enchanting melodies. As soon as I woke up I wrote some notes before they vanished away, just a fragment of an idea of what I was listening in the dream. I named it „The Volcano`s Lake, because the „Lake was comforting me with its melodies, I realized that my tears were also becoming the lake itself and in this lake I was becoming one with Mary Jane and all the rest of the Universe. Thanks to Claudia Eppelt for the all the Love the wonderful painting and cover design. Special Thanks to Stray Dog Nina, Stray Queen Mimi, Carlinhos, Maria Pontinha, Mary Jane, Schwarzenegger, Maria Koboldinha. For all Living beings on Earth, for all our Ancestors, Thank You for all of You All Your Love and Compassion. Love Forever. Luis Anjos Teixeira Disclaimer: The score was written on Finale. The sound file was produced with samplers from Garritan and conceived merely as an audio support for the presentation of this score.

Air In D For Woodwind Quintet
Woodwind Quintet: flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, horn

(+)
Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889424 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Luis Anjos Teixeira. Baroque,Christmas,Concert,Standards. 12 pages. Luis Anjos Teixeira #4604487. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889424). Johann Sebastian Bach wrote some song-like, lyrical pieces, often movements in larger compositions for instrumental ensembles, the so called „Airs. This piece, the Air of the second movement of the Suite No.3 in D major, BWV 1068 is one of the most impressive master works ever written in the history of the human being. The piece does not require virtuoso skills to perform and is appropriate for students or amateurs. Without any doubt very pleasant to listen when played by a dedicated and very well rehearsed ensemble, it has always a very powerful effect on the audience. It can be used in concerts and all sorts of spiritual or religious events. In this arrangement for woodwind Quintet the bass is shared by the fagote and the horn as two independent voices that perform „as one. For a matter of study and comparison the original cello part is included in this work. It could be eventually used if the ensemble decides to double the original bass line with both the fagot and the horn. I also could not resist not to interchange the role of the flute and the oboe on the „repetition : I have shortened some of the notes and used various interpretation symbols, accents and nuances, they are mere suggestions for an interpretation and are total absent on the original score. The use of the dot over the notes is called „staccato, it means in this case that the note is shortened to approximately half of its length. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this text and to listen to the file. I hope you have a lot of fun and enjoy the music. Sheers! Thanks to Claudia Eppelt for the cover design tips, all the Love and inspiration. Special Thanks to Nina and Stray Queen Mimi, Carlinhos, Pontinha, Maria Joaninha, Schwarzenegger, Koboldinha. For all Living beings on Earth, for all our Ancestors, Thank You for all the Love All Your Love and Compassion. Love Forever. Bach: The Six French Suites Complete for Saxophone Quartet
Saxophone Quartet: 4 saxophones

(+)
Saxophone Quartet,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Soprano Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1407234 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by James M. Guthrie. Baroque,Chamber,Contest,Festival,Historic,Standards. 261 pages. Jmsgu3 #989925. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1407234). The importance of Bach's French Suites lies in their unique blend of French and Italian styles despite the misleading title. These suites, composed between 1722 and 1725 for the clavier, showcase Bach's mastery in stylizing traditional dances like allemandes, courantes, sarabandes, and gigues. While named French Suites by later sources like Johann Nikolaus Forkel, they follow Italian conventions with some French influences. The suites offer a rich musical experience, bridging different European styles and serving as valuable teaching pieces. Bach's French Suites are a testament to his compositional genius and continue to be cherished by musicians and audiences alike. The history behind Bach's French Suites is intertwined with a bittersweet period in Bach's life. In May 1720, Bach embarked on a trip, leaving his wife, Maria Barbara, and four children. Tragically, upon his return, he discovered that Maria Barbara had passed away. This loss led to a significant change in Bach's personal life as he became a single father mourning his wife. Despite this tragedy, Bach found love again with Anna Magdalena Wülcken, whom he married. As a gesture of affection and to cultivate her musical skills, Bach composed music for Anna Magdalena, including what would later become the French Suites. These suites were likely performed at court and reflected the couple's intimate musical companionship. The French Suites were not published during Bach's lifetime, possibly because he did not deem it challenging enough. Today, these suites offer an accessible path to Bach's music and are cherished for their stylized dance movements inspired by French and Italian forms.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596539 Composed by Juan MarÃa Solare. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary. Score. 7 pages. Juan Maria Solare #3880115. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596539). Listen: https://soundcloud.com/juan-maria-solare/ausenteAusente (Abstent) is an atonal milonga. If Franz Liszt composed a Bagatelle without tonality, why not a milonga without tonality. This piece is placed somewhere between classical music and new tango. Moderator Louis Barabbas wrote about Ausente for the BBC blog Fresh On The Net nr. 305 (19 November 2018), http://freshonthenet.co.uk/2018/11/faves305 Described as 'somewhere between classical music and new tango' the artist’s phrasing here is telling: somewhere rather than something. For in Juan Maria Solare’s Ausente (absent) we are certainly transported. Each angular phrase jutting up like stone columns or distended stalactites in a limey cave. The trickling thrust of its furtive intent feels somehow elemental yet focused through an urban noir prism, drops of heavy water in varying temperatures, some icicles and some steam, shards of smoky light poking around slow moving fan blades and between the rusty teeth of ancient window grills, monstrous warped shadows cast up from humble orphaned minutiae. Music as beautiful and unsettling as it is hard to dance to. The idea of dancing this piece was a surprise for me, since tango music doesn't need to be danced to (you can also just listen to it). But if you wonder how this tango would appear danced, imagine it is not called tango but contemporary ballet rooted in tango - and suddenly you find ways of dancing it... provided an open-minded choreographer is on board! If someone wants to dance this music in the style of the tango of 1920, they will have a hard time. It would be like trying to dance Strawinsky's Le Sacre du printemps as if it were the Blue Danube Waltz. Juan MarÃa Solare http://www.JuanMariaSolare.com

Saxophone Quartet,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Soprano Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.764693 Composed by Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924). Arranged by James Pybus. Contest,Festival,Opera,Romantic Period,Wedding. 11 pages. James Pybus #4359253. Published by James Pybus (A0.764693). Un bel dì (One Fine Day) is sung in Act 2 of Puccini's famous 1898 opera Madama Butterfly. In this, the opera's most famous aria (and one of the most popular works in the soprano repertoire, which many critics agree Maria Callas owned), Butterfly says that one beautiful day, they will see a puff of smoke on the far horizon. Then a ship will appear and enter the harbour. She will not go down to meet him but will wait on the hill for him to come. After a long time, she will see in the far distance a man beginning the walk out of the city and up the hill. When he arrives, he will call Butterfly from a distance, but she will not answer, partly for fun and partly not to die from the excitement of the first meeting. Then he will speak the names he used to call her: Little one. Dear wife. Orange blossom. Butterfly promises Suzuki that this will happen. Suzuki departs, as Sharpless and Goro arrive in the garden. This arrangement is playable by either SATB or AATB Saxophone Quartet. The duration is ca. 4:05. Moonlight Serenade for Tuba Quintet (Jazz for 5 Series)

Tuba, Euphonium, Tuba Quintet - Intermediate - Digital Download Composed by Glenn Miller. Arranged by Keith Terrett. 20th Century, Jazz, Swing, Old-time. Score, Set of Parts. 8 pages. Published by Music for all Occasions
Moonlight Serenade" arranged here for Tuba Quintet, is an American popular song composed by Glenn Miller with subsequent lyrics by Mitchell Parish. It was an immediate phenomenon when first released in May 1939 as an instrumental arrangement and was adopted as Miller’s signature tune. In 1991, Miller’s recording of "Moonlight Serenade" was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

The song, recorded on April 4, 1939 on RCA Bluebird, was a Top Ten hit on the U.S. pop charts in 1939, reaching number three on the Billboard charts, where it stayed for fifteen weeks. It was the number 5 top pop hit of 1939 in the Billboard year-end tally. Glenn Miller had five records in the top 20 songs of 1939 on Billboard′s list.

In the UK, "Moonlight Serenade" was released as the A-side of a 78 on His Master’s Voice, with "American Patrol" as the B-side. The recording reached number twelve in the UK in March 1954, staying on the chart for one week. In a medley with "Little Brown Jug" and "In the Mood", "Moonlight Serenade" reached number thirteen on the UK charts in January 1976, in a chart run of eight weeks.

The recording was also issued as a V-Disc, No. 39A, in November 1943.

The recording used a clarinet-led saxophone section, which is widely considered[citation needed] the classic Glenn Miller style. Miller studied the Schillinger technique with Joseph Schillinger, who is credited with helping Miller create the "Miller sound", and under whose tutelage he himself composed "Moonlight Serenade".

The song evolved from a 1935 version entitled "Now I Lay Me Down to Weep", with music by Glenn Miller and lyrics by Eddie Heyman to a version called "Gone with the Dawn" with lyrics by George Simon, and "The Wind in the Trees" with lyrics by Mitchell Parish. In his biography of Glenn Miller, George T. Simon recounted how vocalist Al Bowlly of the Ray Noble Orchestra sang him the Eddie Heyman lyrics to the Glenn Miller music of "Now I Lay Me Down to Weep" in 1935. The Noble Orchestra never recorded the song. Finally it ended up as "Moonlight Serenade" because Robbins Music bought the music and learned that Miller was recording a cover of "Sunrise Serenade", a Frankie Carle associated song, for RCA Victor. They thought "Moonlight" would be a natural association for "Sunrise".

"Now I Lay Me Down to Weep" was composed in 1935 with lyrics by Eddie Heyman and music by Glenn Miller. After "Moonlight Serenade", originally released solely as an instrumental, became a smash hit in 1939, Mitchell Parish wrote new lyrics for the music under that title.

A notable vocal version can be found on Frank Sinatra’s Moonlight Sinatra released in 1965, which also contains "Moon Love", "Moonlight Becomes You", and "Oh, You Crazy Moon", which were recorded by Glenn Miller and his Orchestra. Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quartet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1406743 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by James M. Guthrie. Baroque,Chamber,Contest,Festival,Historic,Standards. 20 pages. Jmsgu3 #989498. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1406743). Despite the misleading title, Bach's French Suites are a testament to his compositional genius and continue to be cherished by musicians and audiences alike.
