The truth is that - incredibly as it mayseem - I didn't find any place called "Twelve" something. Yes thereare such names in other languages, but I wanted to keep some consistency. Piano,Vocal,Voice - Digital Download SKU: A0.893908 Composed by Joan Bujacich. Contemporary,New Age,Sacred,Spiritual. Score. 22 pages. Joan Bujacich #6132921. Published by Joan Bujacich (A0.893908). Three Devotions for Classical Voice and Piano. The three compositions in this set are: Falling To Earth, With Wonder, and Sing Praise. The pieces are also available separately, this is the collection of all three pieces. The piano accompaniment is on a somewhat advanced level, musically intertwining with the vocals . The first and third devotions are more diatonic in nature, while number two's haunting style is more contemporary and has interesting overlapping rhythmic intrigue in the phrasing. The lyrics are expressive in a spiritual and religious way and depict many analogies to nature. The music is uplifting and inspirational. The mp3 audio link is a medley, sharing a minute sample of each of the 3 Devotions. The Youtube link is to the full presentation of Devotion number 1. There are also youtube presentations for Devotions 2 and 3, just search the titles in Youtube or follow these links: No. 2 With Wonder: https://youtu.be/Drr_yHuoW2w No. 3 Sing Praise: https://youtu.be/KZgWknpfXb0

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.938371 Composed by Colin Bayliss. 20th Century. Score. 19 pages. Colin Bayliss #4185. Published by Colin Bayliss (A0.938371). Three Impressionist Sketches (B11a) 1. September Sunlight 2. Thamesnight 3. Kaleidoscope – Matinée Musicale These three piano pieces date from the autumn of 1981. The titles refer to actual events of that time; number 1, a sunset on the North Downs in Kent, number 2 a rain-interrupted firework display on the South Bank, where the Thames theme, similar to Smetana’s Vltava theme, is transformed into a half-stated opening of Brahms’s 4th symphony in the quiet G major coda. Number 3 was written after a matinee performance of Richard Rodney Bennett’s Isadora. The kaleidoscope is a satirical treatment of Bennett’s dance pastiches, especially the tango. The sound sample is Sketch No 3 performed by David Martin The complete CD of Impressionist Sketches, Bagatelles and Tentative Tango, performed by David Martin, can be obtained from iTunes at: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/bagatelles-expressionist-sketches/id619860635.

Après un rêve (Op. 7, No. 1) for cello and piano (as played by Yo Yo Ma and Kathryn StottTrois mélodies is a set of mélodies for solo voice and piano, by Gabriel Fauré. It consists of Après un rêve (Op. 7, No. 1), one of Faure's most popular vocal pieces, Hymne (Op. 7, No. 2), and Barcarolle (Op. 7, No. 3). The songs were written between 1870 and 1877, and published in 1878. They were not, however, originally conceived together as a set of three; the opus number 7 was imposed on them retrospectively in the 1890s, almost 20 years after their first publications.[citation needed]Après un rêveIn Après un rêve (After a dream), a dream of romantic flight with a lover, away from the earth and towards the light, is described. However, upon awakening, the dreamer longs to return to the mysterious night and the ecstatic falsehood of his dream. The text of the poem is an anonymous Italian poem freely adapted into French by Romain Bussine.Intermediate.Format: Concert, 9 x 12 inches.6 pages.

Players may read from the score, or from the included instrumental parts.Contents: 1. Air2. Minuet3. Bourrée4. Hornpipe5. Rigaudon6. Minuet7. AndanteHandel's Water Music is one of his most famous compositions. It was written for King George I's pleasure barge trip along the River Thames in 1717. The Water Music is divided into three suites, each containing a variety of movements. The music features a mix of dance rhythms such as minuets, bourrees, and hornpipes, along with lively fanfares and slower, more stately airs. Its combination of light and playful music with grandeur and pomp has made it one of the most beloved pieces of classical music. Water Music has been performed by many orchestras and is a popular choice for special occasions, such as coronations and weddings. Its enduring popularity has helped to make it one of Handel's most famous and beloved compositions.Weddings during the time of Handel were usually quite extravagant affairs. The ceremony was typically held in a church and was accompanied by a full orchestra. Handel's own compositions were frequently used to provide the music for the ceremony. This was especially true in London, where Handel was based and where his music was extremely popular. Handel wrote a number of pieces specifically for use at weddings, including the popular Wedding Anthem and the Wedding Anthem in D Major. Handel's music provided a sense of grandeur and elegance to the proceedings and was often used to give the wedding an extra special touch. The festivities following the ceremony were also often quite lavish, with a large feast and plenty of dancing. Handel's music was often used to provide the background music for the dancing, and he wrote many dance suites that were specifically designed for this purpose. The bride and groom would often have a special dance to the music of Handel's Water Music, a particularly popular piece for the occasion. Guests at the wedding would be treated to a variety of Handel's works, ranging from his operas to his oratorios, which often had a spiritual or religious theme. Handel's music provided a sense of joy and celebration to the wedding and helped make it an occasion to remember.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.987080 Composed by Eric Paul Nolte. Contemporary. Score. 12 pages. Eric Paul Nolte #566749. Published by Eric Paul Nolte (A0.987080). This piece is one of an album of my contemporary classical compositions. Yes, I too wince at offering you something saddled with this oxymoron--contemporary classical--but this phrase is now an irresistible, commercially recognized category defying any principled protest from the ranks of wounded musicological curmudgeons like me. The style here employs a tonal palette that celebrates the more or less common practice of composers from J. S. Bach to Ravel, Prokofiev, and the 20th century American songbook. You will see that I reject Arnold Schoenberg's assertion that by 1910 tonality had exhausted itself, and needed to be reinvented according to an aesthetics that dismiss our scales and harmonies as purely arbitrary human conventions with no basis in nature. On the contrary, I believe that we are endowed by our nature to respond emotionally to our traditional materials of music in the same way as nature equips us to respond to the taste of food and drink. We differ in our taste for savory, sweet, and sour, but it is wrong to say that our very capacity to taste is a merely cultural convention. There is biology, and then physics too! By the same standard, it can't be true that one person's taste for arsenic is as valid as another's taste for beer or kumquats. The major triad is a force of nature, like the sun, wind, and rain! I also like big fat juicy 13 chords, and contrapuntal weaving of melody! I believe the purpose of music is to sway us emotionally, and if it can uplift us too, so much the better! While I am not ashamed to write a bare triad, unadorned by chromatic alterations (much less by clusters of chord collisions) I have nevertheless employed much complicated harmony. Moreover, some passages are written in a spiky harmony that might be analyzed as bitonal, as at the meno mosso section, beginning at measure 112, where the mood I wanted to set inspired me to write the theme in C minor while the left hand climbs up from the bottom of the keyboard in a widely spaced, D-flat 13 arpeggio. I have composed these pieces with the skills of intermediate to early-advanced pianists in mind. This piece demands the ability to play some counterpoint between two voices in one hand. There is a section that requires one to play moderately fast octaves, but nothing as difficult as the G minor Prelude of Chopin (to say nothing of his harrowing octave Etude from Opus 25!) While there are many polyrhythmic passages, none is more complicated than two-against-three notes. All said, there is nothing here to make your hands (or, I dare say, your ears) bleed. The performing time is around nine minutes and a breath or three. I have a number of videos posted on YouTube.com, I have a website under construction, ericpaulnolte.com, and, since 2011, an occasional blog of my ravings on life, love, and the cosmos, at ericpaulnolte.blogspot.com. You may write me at nolte0125@gmail.com.

The ten pieces in this easy piano sheet music with helper notes collection are musically satisfying, ranging from 12 to 32 measures. There are a lot of patterns for the beginning piano student to easily learn. One thing I like to give my students early is the joy of playing with harmonies (two notes together). Three of these pieces feature a few measures with right hand and left hand playing together. Each time, the notes are introduced separately in each hand and then played together. The ten pieces in this easy piano sheet music with helper notes collection is a great fit for your students who are about to go on break, or if your student is struggling with note reading in the Middle C position (if that is the case, I’d recommend they name notes while they play so they can get a better association of the notes on the staff to the piano keys).Musical elements: Finger numbers Quarter notes Half notes Whole notes No rests 4/4 time signature Helper notes (alphanotes) Middle C position Right hand reading middle C, D, E, F, G Left hand reading middle C, B, A, G, F 3 pieces featuring two notes played together 7 pieces with single notes There are no pictures or dynamics so the student can focus on note reading.

Schott Music - Digital #Q24035. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q24035). Playing with six hands means: voluminous sound in all registers, higher density and harmonic variety of chords without stepping beyond a moderate grade of difficulty in the individual parts. It also means fun for three, practising time-keeping and physical co-ordination as well as working together in a group, exchanging ideas, listening to and fitting in with others. Besides, it is also an excellent way of fitting large numbers of pupils into one recital.

Full Orchestra - Digital Download SKU: A0.1368041 Composed by N. Medtner. Arranged by A. Leytush. 20th Century. 153 pages. Arkady Leytush #952396. Published by Arkady Leytush (A0.1368041). Nikolai Medtner - Two Pieces, Op. 58, 1. Russian Round Dance 2. Knight Errant, Orchestrated by Arkady LeytushMedtner, one of the last romantic composers, remained in the history of music as the author of a number of piano compositions, three piano concertos, as well as vocal and chamber compositions. In addition to piano concertos, he unfortunately did not write a single work for a symphony orchestra. This can only be understood considering that he himself was a brilliant pianist and has been focused on this instrument throughout his creative life. Meanwhile, analyzing his piano compositions reveals not only mastery, a variety of development techniques, polyphony and multi-layered presentation, but also a symphonic scope and an assumed variety of timbres. In particular, his opus 58 Two Pisces for 2 pianos fully corresponds to what is written above. These circumstances prompted me to orchestrate this work for a large symphony orchestra and thereby try to expand its creativity and popularity.

Small Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Double Bass,Guitar,Piano Accompaniment,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.522199 Composed by Colin Kirkpatrick. Concert,Holiday,Jazz,Latin. Score and parts. 37 pages. Colin Kirkpatrick Publications #3407717. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.522199). These pieces are in jazz and Latin styles and are intended for intermediate students. This is a companion set to Let’s Go! but the music is technically more challenging. The pieces are intended for an end-of-term concert or recital but would be useful for any light hearted occasion. The 15-page piano score also includes the saxophone parts. The highest note in the 1st sax part is (written) D6 and that in the 2nd sax part is C6. Five-page parts for the two E flat alto saxophones are provided as well as an optional part for tenor sax, which is exactly the same part as the 2nd saxophone. In the piano parts the improvisation chords are shown only in the 1st alto part purely for the sake of visual tidiness, but they appear in all the saxophone parts. If the participants do not feel confident enough, the improvising sections can be omitted. The optional guitar and bass parts are combined and the bass part is similar to the left hand of the piano part. An MP3 file of all the piano accompaniments is also available as a separate item. You can find it here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/20679714 All five parts are presented in a single PDF file. The three numbers are: 1. Highway South - This is a jazz style number written in 6/8 time in concert G minor. There is an improvisation section in the minor key which can be repeated as often as required. It’s a real swinger and useful for giving students the experience of working in a minor key. 2. Summer Siesta - This is a slow number in E flat major which gives the opportunity to practise a soft singing tone-quality over chromatic shifts in harmony 3. Tequila Surprise - Written in 4/4 time in E flat, this is a Latin-style fun piece that lets the participants create surprises during the empty bars. The surprises can be musical or non-musical, depending on the performance occasion and there’s an improvisation section which can be repeated as often as required. The audio sample contains all three titles. Play-along backing tracks are available here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/20679714

Three numbers in popular style for two alto saxes and piano (or alto and tenor) with optional part for guitar and/or bass. These pieces are in jazz and Latin styles and are intended for intermediate students. They’re ideal for an end-of-term concert or recital but would be useful for any festive occasion or celebration. The 13-page piano score also includes the saxophone parts. The highest note in the 1st sax part is (written) C6 and that in the 2nd sax part is A6. Both parts avoid low D and C. Five-page parts for the two E flat alto saxophones are provided as well as an optional part for tenor sax, which is exactly the same part as the 2nd saxophone. In the piano parts the improvisation chords are shown only in the 1st alto part purely for the sake of visual tidiness, but they appear in all the saxophone parts so that any participant can offer an improvised solo. The guitar and bass parts are combined and the bass part is similar to the left hand of the piano part. All five parts are presented in a single PDF file. An MP3 file of all the piano accompaniments is also available as a separate item. You can find it here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/20679812 1. Hit the Town This is an entertaining swinger in the concert key of E flat and 4/4 time. It uses “jazz†eighth notes (quavers) and would be good introduction to playing in a jazz style. The improvisation section can be repeated as often as required. 2. Cool company A slow number in F major in a Latin-American style, this gives the opportunity to practise a soft singing tone-quality. There is one short section for improvising. 3. Freeway Written in 3/4 time in B flat, this jazzy waltz also uses “jazz†eighth notes (quavers) and the improvisation section can be repeated as often as required.

Piano Quintet,String Ensemble Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.552018 Composed by George Friderick Handel (1685-1756). Arranged by James M. Guthrie. Baroque,Instructional,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 43 pages. Jmsgu3 #6053173. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.552018). Seven popular pieces from Handel's Water Music - most often requested for weddings. Score: 16 pages, Duration 12:15.

Cello,Piano - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1227711 Composed by Various and compiled by Michael Praetorius (1612). Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Instructional,Renaissance. Score and part. 17 pages. Colin Kirkpatrick Publications #823673. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.1227711). Dances from Terpsichore (Michael Praetorius)These are eleven of the most well-known dances of the Renaissance, selected from the famous collection entitled Terpsichore, pubished in 1612 by Michael Praetorius. They are sure to be a welcome addition to the elementary cellist’s repertoire. Some of them can be played in first position. The highest note is the “F†above the bass clef which occurs in only two of the pieces. By the time Michael Praetorius published his dance collection, he was one of the most famous musicians in Germany. The name is pronounced “terp-SI-cory†and rhymes with the word “hickoryâ€. The original publication consisted of 312 dances in four, five and six parts. Although the dances were probably conceived for string ensemble Praetorius was well aware that in practice, they would be played by any instruments that happened to be available. These arrangements for cello and keyboard are based on the original 1612 publication. The music sounds more authentic using a harpsichord rather than a piano, or the harpsichord sound of a digital keyboard. The keyboard part may be interpreted quite freely with ornamentation added as appropriate. During the Renaissance, it was common practice to combine separate dances to create something of more substantial duration. A similar practice is used in these arrangements which are as follows: 1. Three Gavottes; 2. Two Ballets; 3. Two Bourées; 4. Two Courantes and 5. Two Voltas. The audio sample contains numbers 1, 2, 3 and 5.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1143765 By Filipe Bernardo. By Filipe Bernardo. Classical. Score. 12 pages. Filipe Bernardo #744083. Published by Filipe Bernardo (A0.1143765). Lares is a brief suite of three pieces that present scenes common in Brazilian homes: 1.Dança de roda (Circle dance) 2.Casal à luz da Lua (Couple in the moonlight) 3.Quixote, o boneco aventureiro (Quixote, the adventurous doll). The scores are elegantly and accurately typed. The notation, from the positioning of the notes, passing through the direction of the stems, and reaching legatos that do not cross staves and barlines, seeks to be clear and intuitive. The form is evidenced by the bar numbering placed at the beginning of the main phrases. And the use of double barlines is restricted to section changes, not tonal changes, as in older notations. Dynamics are not structuring and therefore are not prefixed.

These are specifically arranged for the students who like a little bouncy touch to their hymns.Great for church services or recital for both piano students and piano teachers. This works well for the smaller church offertories that only need about 1 minute of piano playing. This piano sheet music is equivalent to most Level 2 or ABRSM Grade 2.6 pages total. 1 piece in F. 2 pieces in C. Musical elements in Brethren We Have Met to Worship Note values: whole notes, dotted half notes, half notes, half rests, quarter notes, eighth notes Note reading: bass clef C2 to F4, treble clef Bb3 to A5 8va RH reading bass clef RH over left hand Accidentals Ties Finger numbers Practice tips for Brethren We Have Met to Worship The most fun–and hardest–part of this arrangement is the right hand, measures 11-14. The right hand is not only reading bass clef, but is reading the lowest notes in the piece of music. This is a great place to start. Additionally, the left hand for the first page is an open fifth the entire time but changes on the second page. So it may be beneficial to start learning the left hand intervals on the second page first. Musical elements in I am Resolved Note values: whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, eighth notes, eighth rests Note reading: bass clef C2-E4, treble clef C4-E5 Drop-roll (slur-staccato) Staccatos Moving left hand Accidentals LH octave reach A lot of thirds Broken chords Practice tips for I am Resolved While the left hand starts with a catchy left hand pattern, it does get more complicated for the chorus, starting in measure 11. It would benefit the student to focus a little extra attention on the rapidly changing notes of the left hand for the chorus. While the chorus is harder, it does feature repetition, so have the student identify the measures that are the same. Musical elements in Standing on the Promises Note values: whole notes, half notes, half rests, quarter notes, quarter rests, eighth notes Note reading: bass clef C2-E4, treble clef C4-C6 Fermata Staccatos Accidentals Chromatic scale LH octave reach Practice tips for Standing on the Promises If your student doesn’t know their chromatic scale yet, this is the perfect piece to teach it to them! If they already know a chromatic scale, then they will be able to easily master the last two measures. There is a solid left hand pattern that will be beneficial to help the student analyze. If they figure out the pattern it will make learning easier.
