StallbaumerHere's how to play the title theme from "Once Upon a Time in the West" on piano!
With this sheet music, you get an accurate piano arrangement of the full piece by Ennio Morricone. It comes with a few challenges, but it sounds wonderful!
Sergio Leone's 1968 Spaghetti Western "Once Upon a Time in the West" ("C'era una volta il West") is considered one of the greatest films ever made, not least thanks to the soundtrack composed by Ennio Morricone.
While composing the soundtrack, Morricone created "leitmotifs" for each of the film's main characters (who were played by Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson, Jason Robards and Claudia Cardinale), as well as music for the spirit of the American West.
According to Sergio Leone's wishes, the music was composed before shooting started, so it could be played in the background during filming.
The film's title theme is a beautiful orchestral piece which became a famous part of film music history, and it's a great example for Morricone's musical genius.
It also makes for an amazing piano cover!
