Added by douglas-brooks-davies, 29 Sep 2011 The Austrian composer Leonhard von Call (or Leonard de Call) is best known for his various chamber works for flute, violin and guitar. The present Trio in D, no 1 of his Opus 2, has been conservatively edited from the Trio pour trois flutes, compose par Leonard de Call (Paris, n.d. [c. 1800]). Delightfully melodic and utterly characteristic of a minor work of the period, this is a rare and valuable addition to the very limited library of original classical works for flute trio. Sheet central : | Trio de Flûte (5 sheet music) | |
