As usual, a splendid, daedal masterwork by a composer whose yet-to-be posterity burgeons with the tension and dignity. A fitting title to this piece. Suspicion combined with suspense, it is minimalist at its finest. The composer plays with harmonic sevenths and their inversions equally. It is a wonderfully intricate polyphony. Bis. M. Nourian.
