Added by magataganm, 26 Jun 2012 Carl Heinrich Carsten Reinecke (June 23, 1824 ? March 10, 1910) was a German composer, conductor, and pianist. He was born in Altona, Hamburg, Germany; until 1864 the town was under Danish rule. He studied with his father, Johann Peter Rudolph Reinecke, a music teacher. Carl began to compose at the age of seven, and his first public appearance as a pianist was when he was twelve years old. "Dragonfly on the Sunshine" is Number 13 from the "Ein Neues Notenbuch Für Kleine Leute" Opus107 by Carl Reinecke and was arranged for harp by José Hilario Miramontes. |
