Michał Zawadzki (Ukrainian: Михайло Адамович Завадський, born August 7, 1828 in the village of Michałkowice , died March 17, 1887 in Kiev ) – Ukrainian composer and teacher of Polish origin [1] .
Author of over 500 piano salons, arrangements of Little Russian and Polish folk songs. His opera "Maria" remained unfinished.
He was educated at the University of Kiev , and lived abroad from 1862. He composed 42 shumkas , 45 chabarasheks (чабара́шки), twelve dumkas , four Zaporozhian marches, two rhapsodies, polkas, and songs. (Hide extended text)...(Read all)
