Associate : SACEM | code IPI de l'artiste : 00747 44 88 00 Louis Sauter was born in the United States, but he has lived most of his life in France. He is both a musician and an engineer. As a pianist, he enjoys playing chamber music and accompanying singers. As a tenor in the Orchestre Colonne Choir, he sang in Salle Pleyel, the Chartres Cathedral and the Palais Omnisports de Bercy (an audience of over 13,000 people) as well as for French Television and for the recording of several CDs.
He has composed over a hundred works for solo instruments, voice, chamber ensembles and symphonic orchestra. His compositions have been recorded and performed throughout Europe as well as in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Nigeria and Japan.
His "Suite carpatique" was an official selection of the 5th Coups de Vents International Composition Competition. His "Suite pour harpe" made the finals of the 2016 Future Blend Solo Harp Composition Competition. In 2017, the album "One Minute" released by Sarton and including his "Trois miniatures pour flûte" won a double Silver medal at the Global Music Awards. His "Tristan im Mondschein", part of the "250 piano pieces for Beethoven" project, was published by Musica Ferrum in 2018. (Hide extended text)...(Read all)
