Philip Le Bas was born in Cambridge, UK, and grew up in Leicester. He studied a variety of disciplines at Cambridge University, Oxford University, the Pontifical Gregorian University (Rome), St Mary's University College (Twickenham), and holds degrees in Natural Sciences, Nuclear Physics, and Theology/Philosophy.
