About the artist

Artist musician composer, Romain BALOLA was born on February 11th,,1994, in Bukavu in Democratic Republic of Congo, graduated in Computer Management at the Catholic University of Bukavu. Passionate about music from an early age, he took his first steps in the Saint Ignace de Loyola choir at the age of 6. He learned music and music theory at the age of 16 in Kisima Ca Uzima choir, in which he is to this day the choir master. He will then do several training courses on musical theory, piano, vocal technique, musical orchestration, etc.

Composer of several songs, about 400 compositions to his credit including 1 album of 8 titles recorded in the studio for his choir Kisima Ca Uzima. It is thanks to the success of this album that he will make 2 albums for the Coordination of Catholic Convention Schools of Bukavu on the theme "School of Excellence". This marks a fluorescent start in his career as a composer. He composes several songs for Radio Maria (Bukavu, Goma, Kinshasa, Congo-Brazzaville, and Tanzania). He is a consultant composer for several other singer-musician artists evolving in the world, among others the evangelist Esther Alice LUZOLO in France, Father Christian MUTA in Lubumbashi, Father Jean-Marie BUKASA on behalf of the Africa Telema association, Yah Ali NTUMBA Beya in Canada on behalf of the show VUVU KIETU for whom he will compose songs in honor of Alain MOLOTO, Rossi TSHIMANGA, Sister KAPANGALA all dead as heroes... He is a composer for several other international organizations including Alfa Ujuvi, FSPEE...

In 2020 he published the book entitled "Easy introduction to music theory for beginners" published by Palloti Presse, a book that is becoming the reference manual for learning music in schools in the province of South Kivu. That same year, he finished the composition of the musical called Le Fils Prodigue (the prodigal son), of which he made the music and all the instrumental orchestration on behalf of the Izuba musical salon of which he was the Director, this comedy will be a great success until making a tour in different places of Bukavu. In 2022 he composed the opera entitled ZANGANA, a work that relates the wonders of Africa, this opera in the studio thanks to the collaboration between the musical salon Izuba and the Delia-NDARO culture center directed by Thomas LUSANGA which thus has his symphony orchestra for the cause.

Romain BALOLA intervenes as musical composer of the musical "Ingabo - A Night to Fall" with the German musician Konstantin Dupelius on behalf of Umunyinya Asbl with a solid team of German musicians.

He offers his services for studio coaching for several other singers including Father Julien Mugangu who produces his album TOTUS TUUS. He also offers his services for the harmonization of the famous composer of the liturgical music of the diocese of Bukavu, Father Dieudonné Matandiko for the immortalization of his works.
