Andreas Frederik Lincke (1819 - 1874) Danemark Andreas Frederik Lincke ( 19 February 1819 in Copenhagen - 14 October 1874 ) was a Danish military musician (hoboist), composer and conductor.
His father, Johan Frederik Wilhelm Lincke was also a military musician, and the son's path was laid on the same path. First played Andreas in Jutland Regiment Band, and when the regiment were closed down in 1842, he joined the Royal Life Guards Band. Lincke example playing clarinet and was a recognized violinist , and this instrument he treated in HC Lumbye Tivoli Orchestra alongside appointment as a military musician, and was eventually also assigned to the post, replacing Lumbye on the conductor's stand.
The National Archives was found in the mid- 1990s one score collection of 135 works arranged for 8 Brass by Andreas Frederik Lincke and August Otto Dehn to King Frederik 7.s hunting ensemble. Lincke was on friendly terms with the king and had been tasked to collect and organize the Royal. Hunting Music app repertoire that was written in the midst of the First War from November 1848 to January 1850. There are many authors of music, including Lumbye and Lincke itself. In 1855-1856 Lincke was also conductor at the Court Theatre and in 1864 he led the music in the Casino and at the Tivoli competitor Alhambra . In 1865 he was honored with the honorary title war council and HC Lumbye. At one point he scattered cloudy with it and moved some years to Gothenburg , but returned to Copenhagen, where he died in 1874, the same year as Lumbye.
Musically Lincke stood in the shadow of Lumbye that was both a better composer and businessman, but Lincke wrote However, some dances and marches , which received wide dissemination in Denmark and Germany .
