I am Alastair Lewis. I studied jazz, classical under the tutelage of Demi Fernandez amongst others. After schooling, read the University of South Africa (UNISA) examinations for classical guitar. Thereafter attended the Technikon Natal in Durban, South Africa to study for a Light-Music diploma specialising in the writing, recording, performance of practical music (jingles, backround music, tv music).
My primary instruments are: a nylon string Giannini, made in Brazil; a german Muller acoustic piano. My notation is all scribed using Finale Allegro notation software.
