Hans Michel Schletterer (1824 - 1893) Allemagne Hans Michael Schletterer (* 29 May 1824 in Ansbach , † 4 June 1893 in Augsburg ) was a German musician and musicologist .
He studied first at Louis Spohr in Kassel and later with Ferdinand David and Ernst Richter in Leipzig . 1847 Schletterer music director in Zweibrücken 1854 Music Director of the University of Heidelberg in 1858 Kapellmeister of the Protestant Church in Augsburg and 1866 director of the music school at the same place.
Schletterer composed cantatas, operettas, choral chants and psalms set to music. Of significance is his music theory treatises.
