About the artist

Tope Olagunju is a Nigerian organist, music arranger, conductor and music scholar. He stands out among his contemoraries to be one of the best Organists in Nigeria. Tope has served as Organist and Choirmaster in various Churches such as St. Anne';s Anglican Church, Ibadan, Anglican Church of the Ascension, Akobo, Ibadan and many more.

Tope is currently the Organist at New Estate Baptist Church, Surulere, Lagos. He also served as the University Organist for five years at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology( LAUTECH), Oyo State, where he studied Pure and Applied Physics. He arranged the new school anthem for this University in 2014.

His quest for music has led him to further his education in music. In 2018, he passed his Muson Organ performance exam (Grade 8) with a distinction. He was awarded a scholarship by MTN to study music in the MUSON diploma school of music. Tope has been trained by the likes of Dotun Olayemi, Ayo Oluranti, Pa. Kayode Oni, Abiodun Ojo, Segun Ajibade and many more.
