He played with the Toujour Ensemble of Turin for the theatrical show "Cronache Animali" - music by Nicola Campogrande, poems by Toti Scialoja (Teatro Alfieri Torino, Piccolo Regio Torino, Music Park Accademia di Santa Cecilia Rome, Teatro della Tosse in Genoa, Live recording for Radio Rai3). He followed international improvisation workshops with Pierre Vaiana (Belgium), William Parker (United States) and Stefano Battaglia (Italy), Barry Harris (United States) and flute with Carlo Nicita (Italy). In 2003 he received the special prize for compositions and musical performance at the "Strade del Cinema" International Festival in Aosta with the OrJazz project by composer Giulio Pedrana.
