Luca Mazzilli was born in Turin in 1987. He soon started to study the piano. In the Summer of 2010, he participated to Perinaldo Festival in collaboration with the National Cinema Museum of Turin, and he wrote the music for the silent film "Maciste contro lo sceicco" by Mario Camerini. In 2011, at the same Perinaldo festival, he wrote the music for the silent film / documentary "La vita delle farfalle" by Roberto Omegna. In 2012 he received a scholarship from the Rivoli Music Institute, writing the quartet "Mirage - A Winter Quartet". Since 2012, he studies composition at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin. In 2014, he was second to the international competition "Alice Bel Colle" by Belveglio, with the composition "Momento Astrale". This composition was later performed in Turin on the music festivals of Santa Pelagia. In 2015, he participated at the masterclass held by Lorenzo Gorli "The violin in contemporary music".
