Johann Jacob de Neufville (1684 - 1712) Allemagne Johann Jacob de Neufville (* 5 October 1684 in Nürnberg ; † 4 August 1712 ) was a German composer and organist of the late Baroque.
De Neufville was born in Nuremberg as a descendant of the Reformed faith refugees. About Frankfurt members originating from the county of Artois family in 1612 had come to the city. Neufville studied in his hometown at Johann Pachelbel , after the death of Pachelbel 1706 he continued his studies in Italy, mainly in Venice continues. After his return from Italy he was in Graz and Vienna, where he met Johann Joseph Fux and Georg Reuter worked.
In 1709 he returned to Nuremberg and received from April organist at St. Bartholomew's church in the suburb of Nuremberg Wöhrd . In this position, he was the successor of Wilhelm Hieronymus Pachelbel , Johann Pachelbel's eldest son. (Hide extended text)...(Read all) Source : Wikipedia
