About the artist

Leandro Cavalcante is a singer , actor and songwriter . He began his artistic studies studying piano at the Conservatory of Music Alberto Nepomuceno ( Ceara , BRA ) and integrating children's theater school . Opera Sing studied with Hamilton Carvalho ( BRA / CAN ) , Tati Helene ( BRA / ITA ) , Luciana Melamed ( AUS / AUS ) , Linus Lerner ( AUS / USA ) , plus masterclassses in the area with many great professionals in Brazil and the world . He joined the Bachelor of Musical Composition ( UECE ) and held many training courses in the area , highlighting Orchestral Conducting with Christopher Zimmermann (GBR / USA ) , conductor of the Royal Philharmonic New York .

Joined the cast of shows like opera The Merry Widow ( Franz Léhar ) , The Scientist ( Silvio Barbatto ) , Folguedo ( Chorus Scenic State University of Ceará ) . Directed the musical Hair ( Point Culture Casa da Comédia ) , The Opera do Malandro ( ibid.) , Cordel do Amor Sem Fim ( In Company Theatre Scene ) and Spring Awakening ( Multiple / UNIFOR ) . Wrote the script and music for merriment ( Coral UECE ) , Rosa Maria or The Auto Mandacaru King ( House of Musical Studies UFC ) , The Night of The Knight ( Production commissioned by Coégio Ari de Sá Cavalcante ) , music part shows plots and Madness of Truth ( Arteiros on Stage - UNIFOR ) , besides the dramatic oratorios " the King of All Auto Hinterland " (commissioned by the Bank of Northeast Brazil ) and " Passion Domini Nostri Jesu Christi " ( text, composition, orchestration and musical direction , premiere at Theatro José de Alencar ) . He composed the musical intervention HAI KAI for scenic choir ( under poem Erico Baymma ) , who joined the dance show KABUKI , Academy Michelle Fontenelle , in Via South Theatre hosted the educational and artistic direction of " Workshops Series 1st Edition " about musical theater , with Tinno Zani ( SP ) , brokered by VERLIG , Design where he also currently subscribes to the general direction .
