Brother Evariste Ledoux Djontu is a religious of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate (Pallotin), born on 5 November 1977 in Bansoa.
A man of multiple graces, he is a self-taught of music and liturgical singing in particular. He entered for the first time in a choir in February 1998. He has never been to a music school. He learned through the choirs of Cameroon: Marie-Reine of the Universe of Nkol-Eton, Saints Peter and Paul of Mfoundassi, Way of the Hope of Nkol-Eton. He has enjoyed and continues to enjoy special support from certain choral conductors: Joseph Abanda (Guillou), Sidonie Kenfack, Doliris Miyono (Do), François Mbonjo Kiye, and others.
Singer baritone, he has several times presented the contest of song AGUIMUCLA, level I to level VI, under the direction of two great lyrical singers: Deschanel Chenko and Andree Balama. He is the author of several albums of religious music.
He is a former student of the Institute of Philosophy Saint Joseph Mukassa and of the Institute of Theology and Pastoral for the Religious (ITPR).
He is currently a music teacher at the Bilingual School Group Monsignor Henri Vieter in Yaoundé and sings in the lower bass of the Maîtrise 'Voie de l'Espérance' at the parish of Saint Vincent Pallotti in Nkol-Eton (Yaoundé, CMR). (Hide extended text)...(Read all)
