Noureddine Ozzahr is a Moroccan music artist, composer and author of several musical pieces and a virtuoso oud player.
His playing is characterized by a great sensitivity that he manifests by addressing several themes drawn from both national and universal heritage. Indeed, in his constant search for renewal, he borrows his inspiration from the great currents of traditional music by revisiting in turn the Gnaouas, the Houaras, the Hassani of the great south of Morocco, the Aïta of the Atlantic shore, the song of the Middle Atlas. etc.
All melodic elements borrowed from the soil but wrapped in a universal mold. In the same way he tackles Western obedience music such as Fado, Flamenco or Jazz, or rhythmic elements from Latin America such as Tango, which he integrates into his orchestral compositions by infusing them with a very oriental soul.
He has participated, solo or with groups, in various cultural events and national and international festivals such as the Oud Festival of Tétouan on May 11, 2018, the Sacred Music of the World of Fez on May 28, 2015, the Institut du Arab World of Paris on February 07, 2015 & Dar Al Opera in Egypt on September 21, 2018.
