Antoine Benoit Tranquille Berbiguier ( Caderousse , 21 December 1782 - Pontlevoy 20 January 1835 ) is a flutist , educator and composer French.
Very young, he taught himself to play the flute , the violin and cello . In 1805 at age 23, he left home against the wishes of his parents intended him to the right . To study, he went to the Conservatoire National de Musique de Paris where he entered the course flautist Johann Georg Wunderlich and that of Henri Montan Berton , for the harmony one .
One of his friends Pierre-Louis Hus-Desforges being cellist, he composed many duets for flute and cello . He also wrote five duos, seven concerts, six solos and seven great sonatas and variations, fantasies, trios and romances. In 1813 , he enlisted in the army and in 1819 , became a lieutenant, he resigned. In 1830 , he moved to Pontlevoy where he met Pierre-Louis Hus-Desforges.
