 | I have probably miscalculated the tempo markings, and probably because 6/8 with dotted quarters is sometimes (to me) difficult to find an appropriate (or a completely accurate) metronome setting. The movements here are all just about the same mm marking, but with a different tempo feeling for each. (Andante has such a wide spectrum.)
Mvt. 1 = Andante ? dotted quarter = 96 - 100
Mvt. 2 = Andante ? quarter = 88 - 90
Mvt. 3 = Andante ? dotted quarter = 88
I understand the confusion. Do not know if my own thinking makes sense or if my explanation does. I may be completely incorrect?or not.

F major and minor have always been very peaceful keys to me. Your very careful play of the second movement alights its beauty.
I don't understand why the first movement is faster than the third though, Paul. Is it intended that Moderato be faster than Allegro vivo in this piece? Am I missing anything?
The third movement combines the fresh nature of the first and the more profound approach to the melody of the second. Another really good job, :).

Delightful. A romp in three followed by a beautiful introspective second movement. Then back to triples for a more subdued finish, seemingly combining the attributes of the first two. Bravo! ↪ Such a wonderfully-affirming comment. Thank you for that, Charlie |
