These two compositions for large mixed choir, with a concert vocation, are based on two different texts of the prayer “Our Father”.<br> One, in Slavonic, the traditional language of churches of Slavic origin, the other in French, according to the new translation proposed by the “Assembly of Orthodox Bishops of France”.<br> This publication shows how much a unique musical project is necessarily declined in different ways in two languages ​​which are distinguished by their prosody, but also by the meaning conferred by the terms used by the different versions.<br> <br> | |
