Added by cdavis64davis, 05 Feb 2020 This piece is easy to play. Being my first nocturne, I
wanted it to be, well, nocturney. Fugues and sonatinas
and even rags have a good deal of structure, but
apparently the sole requirement for a nocturne is that
it have something to do with the night. I though it
should be at least moody and lonely. |
The rain just stopped and gasoline mirrors reflect surrounding buildings on this cool, otherwise uneventful night. I would love to hear more of this early evening story. Where might this solo pedestrian wander? cdavis64davis , 23 Feb 2020 at 21:36 ↪ You should probably wander indoors. Probably will rain some more. Interestingly a rainy night with dramatic reflections was just what I was visualizing when I wrote it. |
