Added by alastair-lewis, 23 Nov 2011 The duration of this music is around 1 minute 10 seconds. It is a good practice for arpeggios. The time signature is 6/8 and the tempo is a lively allegro. The theme is written in A major, and this theme is repeated in bar 16 in the key of E major. This is a free sheet music for alto saxophone. A member of the saxophone family, the alto saxophone is designated as a woodwind musical instrument. It was invented by the Belgian Adolphe Sax in 1841. It is smaller than the tenor, and larger than the soprano. It is the type of saxophone most used in classical compositions. Alto saxophones are transposing instruments and the alto is tuned in the key of Eb. Thus when a C-natural note is played on the alto sax, it sounds a major 6th (Eb) lower. The alto sax is a reed instrument and hence is classified as a wind instrument. Sheet central : | Savez-vous planter les choux (16 sheet music) | |
