Added by alastair-lewis, 23 Nov 2011 The duration of this music is around 1 minute 10 seconds. It is a good practice for arpeggios. The time signature is 6/8 and the tempo is a lively allegro. The theme is written in D major, and this theme is repeated in bar 16 in the key of A major. This is a free sheet music for french horn. The horn is a brass instrument also known as the corno or French horn. It has 20 feet (6.1m) of tubing which is wrapped into a coil, and ends in a flared bell. A player of the horn is referred to as a "horn player", or less commonly a "hornist". The instrument has its origins in Germany, but is often referred to as the French horn. Since 1971 the international Horn Society has recommended that it simply be called the horn. However the name French horn persists in some countries today. Pitch is controlled by adjusting lip tension in the mouthpiece; and through the operation of three valves by the left hand, which route the air into extra tubing. Horns are tuned in F or less commonly in Bb. Sheet central : | Savez-vous planter les choux (16 sheet music) | |
