Handa was born in 1974 in Japan. He started to take piano lessons and to study music at the age of 6. He was 9 years old when he wrote his own music. He longed to go to school of music to study specialised music, but his household economy didn9;t allow that. He graduated in law and medicine. Now he is a "Sunday composer" or "midnight composer" working as a surgeon. He belongs to several choral groups and often composes or arranges music for them. He leads male chorus group "Societas Artifectis Yechigoya Sohonten" as Nugatore Primus; in English, Chief Visionary Officer.
