http//www.ItamarDanziger.com Itamar Danziger is a composer, based in Kitchener, Ontario. Growing up in a musical family, in Toronto, Itamar began playing the Clarinet at age 7. As a child, he was exposed to Srul Irving Glick - a composer and family friend. Srul, as well as his compositional style, inspired Itamar to compose in earnest.Itamar is inclined to compose tonal music integrating Classical, Folk, Klezmer, Ladino, and Easy Listening styles.Itamar has studied composition with Dr. Michael Damian, Michael Leibson, Amanda Lowry, and Arie Verheul van de Ven. Further Orchestration studies took place with Dave Davidson and George Holmes. Ethnomusicology studies took place with Jonno Lightstone.His compositions have been performed publicly, including by the Kitchener Musical Society Band Ontario, King Street Brass Breslau, Ontario, Brantford Memorial Concert Band Ontario, Kirkland Concert Band Quebec, IDF Orchestra Israel, Beaverton Community Band Oregon, Greater Victoria Concert Band British Columbia, Julius Quartet Dallas, Texas, and, Quartetto Quadriesis Italy.Itamars compositions aired on radio stations CKUT Montreal, and CKJS Winnipeg.Itamars music makes regular appearances at Klezkanada.
